CHAPTER 116
"You are so hasty to abuse me and make you look such an awful person and yet you did not even take time to almost murder your best friend just because he was asking you to keep off the woman whom you claim to love and who is not loyal to you. It's greatly unfortunate that you cannot understand that. She only desires your wealth and properties."
"Seriously? That's what Ryan said to you?"
"How on earth would I even have known that your gold digger was pregnant? She's just a plaything, leave her for Ryan! She wants you to believe that you're the father of the child and then have a claim on your money."
"Why do you mind so much? Did I tell you to take revenge on my behalf? What's the matter with you if she's after my wealth?"
"I dumped you because I hate you. It's not my fault that you can't live with such a reality."
"You tell me you're a smart woman but you're the stupidest human being I've ever met. I'm pleased to tell you that Ryan is only taking advantage of you. He's going to make use of you to get his dirty jobs done and then see to it that you're in jail."
"Do you believe Jail is not for you because you live off your family's money? You surely don't know what is awaiting you!!" I informed him, hanging up before I lost my temper entirely, and also turning off the record button, recording their conversation.
I shrugged, trying to figure out what to do next when I spotted Bonnie through the glass-walled divider between the balcony and the ward.
I figured she looked kind of agitated, like she needed something. So I left the balcony to take care of her.
I kissed her forehead before sitting down next to her. "You need something?"
She held my hand and placed it on her abdomen. "You think that the child is yours. Don't you?" She said with sparkling eyes.
"I thought you were sleeping." I replied, confused with a scowl on my face. "You don't think I'm pregnant with your child, do you?"
"Why would I say that? If I don't trust you then what the hell am I doing here?"
"I don't know, keeping the peace with Melissa?"
I sighed, stroking her belly.
"Whatever you overheard earlier, I would be so much happier if you could just ignore it all."
"I am not here for Melissa alone, I'm here for three of you. You, my love, Melissa, my first fruit, and this little miracle. You three are my family and I love you all so much."
"I'm here because I couldn't survive without you guys. You are not only the mother of my wonderful children, but the sole woman that makes my heart thump with so much love."
"I entered your home a few weeks ago; I could not help myself, we did it, I cummed inside you with my baby. It's just the proper time.
And now you are with child.".
"With the love and trust that I have for you, haters gonna have to work harder to get me to see you otherwise…… I lost you twice and I won't be so dumb to make that mistake again."
"They want you but I'm never going to let you go."
"Sorry, you are in this mess because of me. I promise that everything is in control."
And don't cry, please. We are okay. It is only a phase and we will get through it."
I stood there as the corner of Bonnie's mouth curled up in an extremely lovely smile. "You are going to be a good dad."
"I hope so! And I am prepared.".
I am simply stuck in this mess because of my parents; especially my mother. Father heeds her and attempts to oblige her all the time so he was never favoring me."
"We would have been blissfully married already if they had not spoiled my life right from the start.
"I'm not going to turn out like my parents. The plan is to be better than them, and show them eternal love, and be as supportive as possible. I was deprived of so many things but I will make sure the same does not happen to your children or to you."
"You are already making me proud."
"That's what I want. To be the source of happiness for you and our children. And I won't go easy to make that happen."
Bonnie smiled, "I knew I was in love with a good man."
I was glad to see her smile.
"Wait till I start sweeping you off your feet."
"What am I going to happen to then?"
"You are going to fall in love with me again."
"Is it even possible?"
"Why do you say that?"
"Can I love you more than I do already?"
"Absolutely! Anything can happen with J'onn Condex!"
"I'm afraid."
"On account of this accident?" I couldn't help asking.
"It seems the closer we get, the more wars we have to fight."
"I was afraid of losing Melissa. Same as with this little munchkin. Will it ever improve?"
I pulled my hand from her abdomen and encircled it with hers. "I am here for you and I promise you that it's going to be alright."
"You don't need to worry about anything. I will take care of everything and also make sure the right people land up in jail."
"I know who is against me now and I know exactly how to deal with them. I promise you that such shall never occur again."
Bonnie nodded slowly.
"I hope O'Shea isn't being too severe on you?"
"I don't blame him. He is putting me and your safety first. I just have to show him about me being able to take care of you."
"Once you get well, we are going on holiday. We will bring Melissa with us and most probably bring the nanny along as well. Just in case we need time to ourselves."
"I would love to."
I grinned, "I wish we could make another baby there but we already have one coming up."
Bonnie smiled. "I should be angry at you. I didn't plan on having a second baby. At least, not yet. But I wouldn't have it otherwise."
"Me too. It made me a better person, even. I love you so much, Bonnie. Never doubt it."
