Ruby

“My babies.” We appear inside a fully furnished baby room, it has three cribs and everything a baby needs. it's obvious he planned all this before. My babies are lying in the cribs sleeping, I run and kneel before them. They are healthy, oh, thank goddess.

“See Ruby, I didn't hurt them. I even made this room just for them, I wanted us to live here together.” He says. I try to ignore his comment, now that my babies are here with me. “Be with me, Ruby, I swear I will treat you like a queen.” He adds.

What am I going to do now, I don't even know where I am, I am not that strong I can't even defeat him.

“It's enough now they are sleeping now come with me so that you can see your new home.” He says, grabbing me before even waiting for me to get up on my own. He is truly a psycho. I try so hard not to lose my temper. He grabs my hand, escorting me outside the babies room.

The door opens up to a tiny and dark corridor. Which in turn leads us to a spacious living room, it's beautiful, but I can really appreciate its beauty due to the situation. There are curtains covering the walls from top to bottom. So I can't truly tell if there is a window or maybe where its located.

It makes the living room quite dark and suffocating, I really hate closed spaces like these. I keep looking back to where, which room, my kids are in. I need to familiarize with the surroundings just in case I get an opportunity to escape.

“Can you open the window please it's suffocating?” I say take a seat, I need to make him believe that I'm comfortable with him.

“Oh, before that, come with me my love.” He takes my hand this time, gently pulling me to his embrace. He circles his muscular hands around my body and sniffs my hair. “You don't know how long I've waited for this moment, Ruby.” He sighs. I'm sure he is smiling, my act is working. I laugh nervously, his embrace is nauseating.

“You are so beautiful, Ruby, I love you too much.” He adds. 'More like obsessed, not love.' I say to myself.

“Come.” He excitedly pulls me to a room which is wider than the living room. “This is going to be our bedroom.” He announces, looking at me with a wide grin on his face. Looking at him right now, he looks so innocent, one cannot believe what he has done to my babies and I.

“It's beautiful.” I say without looking at it properly. I'm not interested, I hate the fact that my time with my mates always gets interrupted.

I was about to have a wonderful day, but he interrupted it. I feel so enraged.

'Me too, my darling, but today we are going to show him what a wolf is.' Roxs says to me.

'Won't it be risky for our babies.' I ask.

'Don't worry, just put up with him as I devise a plan, all we need is a way to know the exterior of this place.' She says.

“Can you open the windows then, please?” I ask in my feminine tone.

“Alright, my love.” He says, I feel so disgusted, but I don't have a choice. As he opens the windows, I take the time to scan my surroundings even more. The window is huge, but grilled in a way that it can't be used as an escape route. He really thought this through.

“Can I ask where we are?” I asked right behind him as I peep through the window. “Are we at some beach?” I ask as an ocean greets me the moment I look outside.

“Yes it's a private island, its just you and me now, and the kids of course, but not for long.” He turns to look at me. My heart shudders when he says that.

“What do you mean not for long.” I ask, trying to keep my cool.

“I'm planning on returning them back to their fathers. I can't raise other men's children. You will just have to give me my own child. My flesh and blood, I can't wait.” He smiles.

Oh goddess, please deliver me from this man, come to think of it, how did he manage to escape? After whole ten months? I can't even dare to ask.

“Please make sure they are safe, please.” I beg.

“Of course, will you wait for me, so I can take them?” He asks, leaning in, I lean backwards, avoiding his contact. He smiles, “I will be back, then you will not be able to reject me. I know you feel shy because of your children” He chuckles.

“How will I know if you really took them back?” I ask.

“I will definitely take a photo.” He states. "A photo with all their fathers. Surely they can raise them without you ."

“Okay then.” I hope he gets them all safely back.

“Behave darling, don't miss me too much.” I wonder what made Möbius this way, Is he just evil. Or did something cause him to be this way?

It's been an hour since he took my children, I've looked all around, but I'm totally locked in, I resign myself to just wait for my fate. I lie on the couch and due to the exhaustion, I just sleep. I hope he keeps his word.



When I open my eyes, I see myself in our living room, my mom is in the kitchen with three other people, I can clearly see their figures, mom, two females with the same build as me and a man. I try to get up from the couch, but my body seems a little odd. It's heavier.

“Mom Ruby is awake.” A female form comes running towards me. Omg she has the same face as mine. We are identical.

“Finally.” Mum runs towards me. “I told you not to drink too much Ruby. You and Zama need to be disciplined. Bring the hangover soup.” Mum says I can see how angry she is. That's why my head feels so heavy.

Another me brings me the soup, I'm almost reacting when suddenly I find myself seated in the midst of the two people who look like me.

"Ruby you are the strongest of all of us, so please fight." It looks like we were in a continuing conversation.

"Ruby, Ruby open the door." A voice repeatedly calls my name. I open my eyes and I'm still in the couch and Möbius hasn't returned yet.

It was a dream, but why does it feel so real?
