Chapter 92
Third person
Damien, Rowan, and Owen take turns looking after Ruby. All this while preparing for the surprise they all made for her. After accepting their proposal, they had to give her a present. It was so challenging to think of a perfect gift so they consulted Ruby's mom. Ruby wasn't materialistic, so a thoughtful gift would do the trick.
They first had to hide the fact that Ruby was missing from her mother. They could breathe when they finally found her, and now all they wanted was to make her happy each passing day. Owen and Rowan realized that they had limited time with Ruby, they were immortal, but Ruby wasn't. And that meant one day they would part ways for the good. The thought terrified them, and they were envious of Damien since he would age and finally spend enternity with Ruby in the afterlife if there was any.
Owen wished that they could make Ruby immortal, and only Rowan had the capability. But it depends solely on Ruby. He prayed that she agrees. He didn't ever want to lose her. Furthermore, he also knew that he wouldn't be so selfish to force her either.
Ruby wakes up after sleeping for fourteen hours straight. The first thing she sees is her mates looking at her with full of love. She knows she is so lucky to receive love from either of them. She got the best men ever. She cannot wait to break the news to them, that they were going to be fathers. She didn't know who the baby belonged to, all she knew was that it would have three dads and that made her so happy.
“You are awake, baby.” Owen smiles and places a soft kiss on her forehead. She giggles like a little girl. Every touch from her mates is electrifying, it's more intense since she has been craving for them ever since she was attacked by the rogue, but misfortunes kept happening and she couldn't be with them sexually.
“How was your sleep, my love.” Damien asks placing a lingering kiss on her lips leaving her wanting more. '
Why are they teasing me?' She thinks to herself.
“I hope you feel better now, darling.” Rowan smiles, there is only love in his eyes. He bends down slowly placing a kiss on her lips as well.
They all were so glad to be with her. and also so nervous because of the gift they prepared for her.
Ruby wanted more, but she knew it wasn't the right moment somehow.
“I want lots of meat now. I'm famished.” Ruby says trying to substitute her arousement with food.
“Chef Rowan will do the honors.” Rowan claims referring himself in third person. “But first we need to take you somewhere.” He adds.
“But I want food.” Ruby whines, this time she means it. She hasn't had a decent meal since she was captured. She needed her strength, being with her mates at the same time required strength so she can satisfy all of them.
“That's where we are taking you.” This time they don't teleport, Damien leads them to his car downstairs. Earlier they already placed everything Ruby might need with the help of Ruby's mom. So wherever they are going Ruby wouldn't suffer a single bit. What they are praying is that she loves what they planned for her.
“Where are you taking me?” Ruby asks curiosity getting the best of her.
“Be patient my love.” Damien says as he opens the passengers seat for her. Owen offers to drive, he feels like he spent a lot of time alone with Ruby so he lets Rowan and Damien sit with her at the back seat.
Ruby can't wait to tell them the news too, but she seems not to get a perfect moment to do so.
“We knew you would be hungry, so I bought some snacks for you darling.” Rowan says taking the seat next to Ruby while Damien gets in through the other side. Owen gets in too and orders them to put their seatbelts on. Damien hands Ruby packed juice and some queen cakes vanilla flavored as she likes them.
Rowan and Owen don't really depend on food for survival so Damien and Ruby munches all the ten cakes in the pack. That's another thing they envy Damien about. He gets to enjoy all the little moments with her. Rowan can't really taste food and if he eats it's only for Ruby, Owen also only enjoys raw meat so eating cooked food is a hassle too.
The drive takes almost an hour, and Ruby sleeps all through. Right after eating the cakes she falls into a deep sleep. When they finally arrive they have to wake her up. They don't want to wake her since she is sleeping so peacefully, but they have to.
Ruby opens her beautiful eyes and smiles at her mates, who helps her out of the car. Rowan covers her with his coat since It's chilly outside.
“Where are we?” She asks in awe as she scans her surroundings.
They are standing outside a beautiful gold gate and ahead of them there is the most beautiful bungalow Ruby has ever seen. It's even bigger than the Alpha's mansion. It looks exquisite and luxurious. It's just out of this world.
“Wow.” Ruby exclaims and her mates' heart melts. That's the reaction they all hoped for while bringing her here.
“Someone, please tell me where we are because I can't wait to get in there. My curiosity is killing me, are we going in there.” She excitedly asks.
Rowan nods and Ruby smiles even wider than before.
Owen takes her hand and guides her through the vast gate.
The bungalow sits nestled between a garden, with vibrant flowers lining the stone pathway that leads up to the front porch. The porch itself is expansive designed with iron railings and a comfortable sitting area with fluffy seats.
Ruby runs and takes a seat circling her arms all around the seat.
“It's so soft.” She remarks laying her face on the pillows and closing her eyes. She wonders if the porch is this way how about the inside. She hurriedly stands up, she doesn't care who the place belonged to as long as she was with her mates, she had nothing to be afraid of.
Upon entering through the wooden door, everything changes, it's like you have stepped into another world. The high ceilings the decor all on point. To the left, a cozy living room calls on to her, there is even a fireplace.
Ruby runs all over the place, admiring touching and hugging everything she finds beautiful. The three of them stand in the doorway and lets her enjoy it. Finally, she gets tired of running around and rushes back to them.
“Whose house is this?” She asks.
“You forgot upstairs.” Owen answers instead. Without waiting a second she runs climbing the spiral staircase in the middle of the massive hallway in twos.
“Be careful please.” Damien warns chuckling.
After what seems like forever Ruby comes back this time her energy completely drained. She finds her mates sitting in the living room.
“What's with the long face.” Rowan asks.
“It's too big I couldn't check all the rooms.”
“Is that why you are sad?” Owen asks, Ruby nods almost in tears.
“No need to worry you will have the rest of your life checking all the rooms because all this is yours Ruby. It's ours Ruby, we will live here together in harmony.” Damien says. Ruby freezes as if she didn't hear him properly.
“Our house?” She asks as tears of joy stream down her cheeks. It's not because of the house but finally, she will get to spend time forever with all her mates under the same roof.
“We wanted to have something that could incorporate three worlds. We plan to make the three realms so open that the people can move freely of course there will be rules. We thought about it and we concluded that our mating was specifically made with a bigger picture in mind.” Damien explains as authority radiates through. "Of course we will begin small, we will first discuss it with the elders, but I'm sure they will not object after all there is also the peace treaty."
“You are right and speaking of mating…” Ruby says with a mischievous look on her face, smiles and runs upstairs.
