5 Years Later

“Mummy , Mummy , Mummy!”

“Hey my darling big boy! How was your day out with daddy ?!Hope it was fun ?” Nina said to the hyper active Alexander who jumped down from his father’s jeep immediately they parked next to the car Nina and Annabelle just came down from. Alexander and Annabelle were already in kindergarten and they are on summer break. Alexander loves to go hunt and have adventurous days out with his father while Annabelle like her grandfather and mother have compassion for sick people and she always tags along and follows Nina to work where she works as a nurse.

“Yes mummy, it was so fun! Daddy taught me how to hunt and I caught a rabbit myself , without anybody’s help. Daddy says that I am super fast and strong which is a good thing “ said the proud Alexander who was already growing really tall and enjoyed having fun with his father. Alexander stretched his two hands , the poor hopeless bunny was wounded and whimpering for dear life.

“Hey Alexander! That is so wrong ! Why did hurt the poor bunny! Mother and her friends spent the whole day in the hospital making sick people happy and healing their injuries, give me that…I need to fix the baby rabbit !” Annabelle said to her brother as she collected the rabbit from his hands and started whispering comforting words to it as she tried to look for places the rabbit got wounded.

Alexander just raised his head and stared into Apha Aiden, his father’s face .Aiden winked at his son which made Alexander shrugged as he ran towards the mini basketball court his father built for him to go play and kick around some balls.

“Mother , can we please keep the bunny ?” Asked Annabelle in a sweet voice while giving her mother a puppy eyes look.

“Why not Darling, I will have a vet nurse check the bunny out first “ said Nina as she pecked her daughter on the forehead.

“Yay!I am going to go and show Anty Scarlett my new pet” Annabelle said with a cheerful voice as she ran into the main house with the bunny still carefully tucked beneath her little arms.The little bunny reminds Nina of the time Aiden gifted her a bunny , it brought back the thoughts of so many memorable moments ,those moments made her stronger and made her feel loved.

“Mmmm, how is my baby doing and how was work today ?” Said Aiden coming to peck his wife on the lips.

“Tedious but your girl is a strong woman and the smiles and hopes on the face of the patients and their family members are worth it” said Nina with a sweet and content smile , what else can she ask for when she is blessed with a beautiful family of hers.

“How was work today ? Hope you were easy on your soldiers ?” Nina and Aiden made a face which clearly states that he has been anything but easy on them. Aiden has been very serious , strict and principled when it comes to the security of Silvermoon Pack.

“Before I forget , Eros and Hazel are seeking our permission to let Alexander and Annabelle be their ring bearers for their wedding “ said Nina to her husband as they held hands while going upstairs to their matrimonial room.

“But aren’t the twins too big for that with those their long legs “ complained Aiden

“…look at you talking as if they didn’t inherit those tall genes from you “ said Nina which made Aiden roll his eyes at her as he teasingly picked her up.

“Hey baby!Where are you taking me to ?!” Shouted Nina with a teasing voice when Aiden suddenly picked her up bridal style.

“To bathe, massage and please my wife of course. I have been thinking of you all day, I don’t mind having you by my side for eternity” said Aiden as he kept placing feathery soft kisses all over Nina’s face on their way upstairs.

“I love you “ whispered Nina to Aiden and she almost teared up when she saw the family portrait hanging on the other side of the room. Annabelle was wearing a yellow ballerina gown with a fancy sandal , Nina was in a long,white and flowy yet elegant gown. Aiden and Alexander wore matching jeans and blue T shirt with ther Nike black and white sneakers, Annabelle was holding her mothers hands while speaking while Aiden had Alexander’s legs wrapped around his head. It was a random picture that Scarlett took when they went out for a family picnic by the beach.

The picture was not like a regular family portrait where everyone is looking all serious, this particular picture is so full of life and love that’s why Nina got it framed into a large family portrait.

Aiden made a beautiful playground for the children in his mother’s garden, he feels like his mother will be so happy to have her grandchildren play in the place she cherishes the most in the Island , Aiden also made a huge library for Nina and in return Nina finished nursing school and became a supportive and caring Luna Queen,sister in-law , friend, mother and wife to Aiden and his family which are his Pack. Even though they sometimes don’t agree on somethings and argue,the two were so in love and crazy for each other that they always end up finding a way to resolve their issues especially after an intense and passionate moment in between the sheets.

Aiden As usual kept to his promise , he and his wife showered after he massaged her sore and tired body.

“Now let’s recreate those wild things you read in those romance books of yours and you know I make it much better …” whispered Aiden into Nina’s ears before he switched off the lights.

“Thank you Aiden, thank you for everything” moaned Nina.

“I love you Nina Vincenzo”.
