Snap out of it Enya, snap out of it. This is not you drooling over some handsome but cute man standing in front of you with his 6 feet tall height slightly covered with tattoos. You are not some 16-year-old girl drooling over her crush. In real life, crushes will crush you without any second thought and fairy tales are bullshits. I reminded myself before straightening and ready to defend myself.
Clearing my throat I started " umm! Excuse me, sir! But we were not informed about this particular request of yours before and now we can't arrange it. We are extremely sorry but you have to start the performance because we are paying you handsomely". I said without an ounce of nervousness but inside I am a mess.
The handsome singer is just staring at me like a real staring with a look I don't decipher and he has striking features with pretty eyes and kissable lips and a strong angular jaw. Stop! Enya what the hell has happened to you. I stopped myself thinking further about this sexy singer. Ughhh! I need to chill down first.
He didn't answer anything but just staring at me, his manager or assistant nudged his arm and whispered something in his ear. Like a spell that broke from his head he sobered up and his expressions hardened.
" I don't know who you are, but it is not about money. It is about me performing, me singing and I am very particular about my mic and we as my manager already informed you about it". He snapped irritated and I controlled myself from lashing out at him and still maintaining the same well practised professional smile I answered him.
" Well sir, I am an event manager and my job is to organise weddings and others and as I said before no requests were made like that."
" I am not starting the show without the purple mic and that's final." He said his final words and left, giving me an intense gaze. I shuddered unknowingly but it is a good type not creeping me out.
" But sir… sir…" I rushed behind him to get the door slammed on my face. ugh! This little sh*t, I grumbled out. Planning 100 ways to murder him in my head.
" Now, now Enya doesn't plan his murder and don't act upon it please we need money and we don't want to go to jail precisely I don't want to." Andre rambled out hurriedly like I am going to act on my murderous thoughts, huh? Me? Who knows maybe, a sinister smirk made its way on my face.
" I know that smirk of yours Enya and I am serious, I am not going to bail you out." Andre made a face that shows that he is being serious but all I can see is that he looks like the person who is being stopped from pooping.
" stop it Andre, and you are not at all looking like you are being serious but like you are stopped from pooping." I scrunch my nose and fanned my hand wanting to rile him up and it worked.
" enyaaaaaa! Stop embarrassing me or else I will eat all your chocolates and eat your food from your fridge too." He threatened and knowing he is now being serious I shut my mouth because I am so lazy to go to the grocery store.
" Okay, whatever but how do we solve this Andre, I am done with this," I grumbled feeling tired all of a sudden.
" If we want to be rich and if you still want to buy that bathtub, then be patient and let me think," Andre said, sighing.
" Think fast and we don't have much time because the wedding will be starting in an hour and the performance will be right after the wedding."
" I know, I know but other than that we have to go out to search for that purple mic of his."
" Not going to happen, Andre, because we have a lot of things to be done before the wedding and no one is free at the moment." I am growing frustrated second by second.
" I know that too but one of us can go and I have the best idea you can go. I will manage everything." He suggested feeling like a great adviser but he doesn't know I am going to burst his bubble by rejecting his idea and offer.
With a sickeningly sweet smile, I started." Who is the event manager here andre? "
"You" he answered like he was answering a quiz.
" Me, right! So I have to be here to manage everything and as an assistant, it's your job to solve these types of issues." I said before bolting from there but I know Andre and he is going to hunt me down from the bottom pit of the earth but for a second I need to be alone to clear my hazy lustful mind.
I went to the washroom because Andre can't barge into it and I know he is waiting for me outside the washroom impatiently.
Sighing I came out to accept my fate of searching for that damned mic of that sexy and delicious man child. Ugh! Not again, Enya, I facepalmed myself in my head and exited the washroom.
As I predicted Andre is waiting like a mother hen outside pacing the area.
" Stop being so dramatic and don't start with the lecture, please. I'm tired and I just want to leave this place." I grumbled huffing.
"I'm not the one dramatic here Kenya, it's you and stop being a child go and get that mic. Without that, you can get your work done." Andre said, pushing me towards the door.
" ugh! Whatever!" I yelled before exiting the venue in the search of that damned mic.

After 2 hours of constantly searching for the mic in every store in the city, y I still didn't get the purple coloured mic. I think the purple colour is bad luck in my life. I have never been this irritated or exhausted from finding something for the client.
I'm in my heels and my feet are killing me. I can't survive like this anymore. Please whatever god is listening please let me get that mic and particularly that purple mic.
Luckily I saw a store but this is the last store in the area. If the mic is not here then I'm going to be in trouble. Quickly making another prayer, I made my way to the store hoping to get the mic.
"Hello! Someone here?" I knocked before entering the store and the store was empty.
"Excuse me! Is someone here?" I asked with a loud voice hoping to reach my voice to the owner of the shop.
"Yes, how may I help you?" I jumped hearing the voice behind me.
"Holy cow! You scared me!" I sai, clutching my chest tightly, easing it.
" So sorry miss, I was just coming from the outside and iI didna mean to scare you." the middle-aged man apologised somewhat awkwardly.
" It's okay, I was just expecting the store owner to pop out from under the table or from behind the racks.'' I gave him a small smile and he smiled back while going to stand behind the table.
" umm, do you have mics?" I asked, hoping that this is the right place where I can get the mic and happily and successfully finish the wedding and get my payment.
" Yes, we have ma'am," he said, ready to show me the mics.
" uh! Do you have a purple coloured mic? If so, please show me that.`` I said hoping he had the mic but uncertainty crossed his face and with that irritation took its place on my face.
"Please say that you have a purple coloured mic, please want it so badly." I pleaded, yeah maybe I am looking desperate but still I'm desperate.
" I have to check ma'am. but I think we have the purple mi," he said, raising my hopes.
He returned with a box and put it on the table and asked me to check the mic in it. I eagerly checked the box to get a glimpse of the purple colour hiding from the eyes hiding between the other mics. I pulled it out like a happy child who got their favourite candy.
I paid the store owner to double the price showing my gratitude and happiness and left from there.
Happy to see that handsome Korean singer's face when he sees this mic and with the mic, I will give peace of mind on treating people properly.
