Terry's POV
THE INCIDENT
I watched the scene unfold before me, my eyes narrowing as he took in every detail.
I didn't have to think too much to know that The customer was the culprit behind the issue. His behavior had been suspicious from the start, and I had been waiting for him to make his move.
But I didn't want to intervene just yet. I wanted to see how Marinette would handle the situation.
I had been impressed with her skills and abilities, but I wanted to see how she would react under pressure.
As the customer continued to cause a scene, Marinette remained calm and composed.
She listened to the customer's accusations and responded professionally and respectfully. But she seemed to know that it was a scheme too
I was impressed. Marinette was handling the situation perfectly, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride.
The customer, on the other hand, was getting more and more agitated. He was shouting and waving his arms, but Marinette remained calm and unruffled.
I could see the anger and frustration building up inside the customer, and I knew that it was only a matter of time before he snapped.
But Marinette didn't give him the satisfaction.
She remained calm and professional, even when the customer's behavior became more and more erratic. I was impressed. Marinette had passed the test with flying colors.
As the situation finally began to calm down, I stepped forward. "I think we've heard enough," I said, my voice firm but calm. "Sir, I think it's time for you to leave."
His face turned red with rage, but I just smiled. "I'll have my men escort you out," I said. "And I'll make sure that you're banned from this restaurant for life."
He started his noise again and I quickly told my men to bring the footage of him.
With a nod, I ordered my men to bring the footage from the surveillance room. His eyes widened in alarm as he realized what was happening.
As the footage was played back on a screen in front of them, his face changed from one of defiance to one of shock and fear. His eyes darted back and forth as if searching for an escape route, but it was too late.
The footage clearly showed him intentionally adding the cockroach to his dishes and then trying to blame the restaurant for the accident. The evidence was irrefutable, and he knew it.
As the footage ended, I turned to the customer, my expression stern. "I think it's time for you to leave," I said. "And I'm afraid you'll be banned from this restaurant for life."
The room fell silent as the truth was exposed. My eyes narrowed, and my expression turned stern. "So, it was intentional," I said, his voice firm. "You deliberately tried to cause a scene and blame the restaurant for it."
His face turned bright red as he realized he had been caught. He looked around the room, but there was no escape from the truth. The footage had exposed his scheme, and now everyone knew what he had done.
Marinette felt a sense of vindication wash over her. She had known that the customer was trying to manipulate the situation, and now the truth was out.
I turned to the customer, my expression unyielding. "I'm afraid you'll have to face the consequences of your actions," I said. "You're banned from this restaurant for life, and I'll make sure that everyone knows what you did."
His eyes widened in shock, and he took a step back, realizing that he had gone too far. But it was too late.
The damage had been done, and now he would have to face the consequences. As the truth was exposed, my expression turned stern. I nodded to the security team, and they quickly moved to apprehend him.
"You're coming with us," one of the security guards said, as they handcuffed him and read him his rights.
His face was red with rage and humiliation as he was led away in handcuffs. He struggled and shouted, but it was too late. He had been caught red-handed, and now he would have to face the consequences.
I turned to Marinette and nodded. "Thank you for handling that situation so professionally," I said. "I'm glad we could resolve it without any further incident."
Marinette smiled, feeling relieved that the ordeal was over. "Thank you, Terry," she said. "I'm just glad the truth came out."
I nodded, my expression serious. "I'm going to make sure that he is blacklisted from this restaurant for life," I said. "We don't tolerate that kind of behavior here."
Marinette nodded in agreement. "I think that's a good idea," she said. "We don't need customers like that here."
I turned to Marinette and smiled. "Let's get back to work," I said. "We've got a lot to do before the day is over."
Marinette nodded, feeling a sense of relief and gratitude towards me. She knew that she could always count on me to have her back, and that meant a lot to her.
As we reach the kitchen, I turned to Marinette once again turne to with a satisfied smile. "lly impressed with how you handled that situation," I said, my eyes shining with admiration. "You kept your cool and didn't let him get to you. That takes a lot of professionalism and maturity."
Marinette blushed, feeling a warmth spread through her chest at my praise. "Thank you, Terry," she said, smiling. "I just tried to stay calm and do my job."
I nodded, my expression serious. "Well, you did a great job," I said. "And I'm glad we were able to resolve the situation."
I paused, my eyes locked on Marinette's. "You know, I've been thinking," y said. "Aofom today, I want to make sure you're safe and sound. I'm going to start dropping you off every day, and I'll also arrange for one of my drivers to pick you up every morning."
Marinette's eyes widened in surprise. "Terry, you don't have to do that," she protested.
But I shook my head, my expression firm. "I want to make sure you're safe, Marinette," I said. "And this is the best way to do it. Plus, it'll give me a chance to spend more time with you."
Marinette's heart skipped a beat at my words. She couldn't help but feel a flutter in her chest at the thought of spending more time with me.
She smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Terry. "Thank you, Terry," she said. "That'y kinThat'sou."As the day drew to a close, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction and contentment. I had taken care of the situation with the customer, and I had made sure that Marinette was safe and sound.
But as I looked at Marinette, I couldn't help but feel something more. I felt a sense of admiration and respect for her, for the way she had handled herself in a difficult situation. And I felt a sense of attraction, a sense of wanting to be around her more.
As I drove Marinette home, I couldn't help but steal glances at her. I noticed the way her hair fell in soft waves down her back, the way her eyes sparkled in the dim light of the car. I felt my heart beat faster, my pulse racing with excitement.
When we arrived at Marinette's apartment, I got out of the car and walked her to the door. As we stood there, I felt a sense of hesitation, a sense of not wanting the night to end.
"Thank you for everything, Terry," Marinette said, smiling up at him.
I smiled back, feeling his heart skip a beat. "Anytime, Marinette," I said. "I'll see you tomorrow."
As Marinette went inside, I stood there for a moment, feeling a sense of wonder. I had never felt this way about anyone before, and I wasn't sure what to do with these feelings.
But as I got back in my car and drove away, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. I felt like I was on the verge of something new, something special. And I couldn't wait to see what the future held.
