“Huh? What I did to you? Whoa hold on right there Dove... So that dude didn’t tell you anything about his bloody secrets after he deceived us all for two fucking years?” Nate felt betrayed by Jalan once more. Jalan said he’d took care of Anna’s body and buried all their secrets but Sino reported back to him that Jalan had been hiding Anna in Havana for more than two years now after what had happened.
Anna stopped struggling and looked at Nate with confusion and hatred. Her eyes were red and stained with tears. She still feel nausea by merely looking at this bastard’s face. Her heart was throbbing and her head feels like it is about to explode with bitter memories.
Still, her lips trembled with fear as she decided to know what Nate was talking about.
“Does Jalan has something to do with any of this?”
Nate scrunched up his face looking all sour with frustration under the bright lights of the chandelier above his head “Damn it! So he lied to all of us! I should’ve known this sooner! Of course it was him who started all of this fucking competition... What? You think he was an Angel who saved you or something? You’re pathetic Dove... You’re still the same pathetic and clueless gold digging bitch from the past. You should’ve died long ago and not become our problem now”
Anna couldn’t hold back her rage any more. She prepared her hand and slapped Nate hard on the face until the force of her slap made Nate’s cheek turned bright red _ that was for daring to call her a gold digging bitch after what he did to her himself. She despised him so much! She despised them all of them now even though she has no idea what competition Nate was talking about. Actually, even if Nate does not tell her anything, she has regained her memory back and does not wish to continue being Jalan Marco’s estranged wife. They were friends after all! And now it appears to her like Jalan hid her in another country only to save his asshole friend from facing the criminal law.
“You know what Dove,” Nate continued to talk softly “Even now that I’m meeting you like this, you make me feel so turned on”
“You psycho!” Anna slapped him with all her strength on the other cheek again but Nate’s face didn’t even budge this time.
“Get back together with me. I am serious about you this time” Nate said with a devilish smirk on his red face. Damn this woman! Why does she makes him go crazy? Not one bit does he feel a regret over what he did to her. And now he wants her to stop depending on Jalan and just become his real mistress.
“You are sick! Sick in the head Nate! I would never get back with a sick pig like you. Go fuck yourself and your trashy Thunderberg family!”
“Oh honey... not after you see this” Nate pulled out his phone from his pocket and quickly scrolled through something “Your man and his sweet side chick”
Anna stared at the photo of Jalan lovingly holding another woman in his arms. Her hands begin to tremble as she placed it to her mouth. It feels as though he was not the same man who only gives her his cold side. Look how he smiled with his teeth out with another woman. Its not that hard to believe actually, even Willow had told her not to be deceived by a man’s words... But... Why does this new feeling hurt so badly that she wants to fall down and die right away.
“It’s heartbreaking... I know... That’s why you should come to me” Nate moved closer and wiped off the tears streaming down from Anna’s face. She quickly backed away and ran to the door ahead her in confusion.
“You’ve forgotten the exit?” Nate chuckled at the woman’s dilemma. She makes him want to burst out with laughter. Look at her face... She’d thought that Jalan Marco loved her? Jalan Marco the highest scoring Casanova in the squad? What a stupid woman.

Now that everything has come to light, there is no any reason to stay in this damn country, Anna thought in her mind. People would probably be giving her that _ hey, isn’t that the dead model we saw on the news? Even her parents have given up on her _ according to Nate’s theory, and its very possible since they only respect money and they’ve neglected her for years while she was growing up. Its her parents faults that she became a gold digger _ They taught her to value only money and rich people.
Anna has finally decided to be thoughtful despite the tough challenges threatening to weigh her down. Even though it is disgusting to look at Nate’s face, she will have to hide herself in the Vila until she plan properly on making an escape. Nate has trapped her inside with no phone or money and she remembered that he used to have lots of security men outside. For now, she will pretend to be on his side until he let his guard down and then she will make a move.
“You need a Doctor, Dove?” Nate asked from the other end of the living room.
“I’m... Fine. Just get me food and water please... And some new clothes” She managed to reply in a normal voice.
“Yeah... They’re all on the way” Nate said, while uncapping a beer bottle. He feels excited to have Dove back in his life, but he has to prepare to deal with Jalan Marco. Marco has spies everywhere, and before tomorrow, he will find out about his woman’s location.
“Sir... the table is set” A woman’s voice spoke to Nate while Anna turned her head and looked at her. They exchanged glances and she seem to recognize Anna somehow, but she quickly nodded her head.
“Oh... Yes. Let me remind you once more. You did not see that woman. Do you understand me... Katy?” Nate threatened in a soft voice while he pointed at Anna.
“Yes Sir” Kate moved her legs out as quickly as she could.
“Lets go eat breakfast Dove”

At the breakfast table, Anna used her own sly method to find about who and who were part of Nate’s squad. She was shocked to hear the name of a dead man in the list. Turned out Jordan Miko was one of the five squad members, but according to what Nate has told her, Miko lost the game when he cowardly backed out by himself and said he has feelings for Lilian McClain. And then the brown skin Alpha male _ Ony Hugo Masoandro whom she used to have a crush on, said he was not interested in the competition. It was Nate, Jalan and Sino Yamato who were very much interested in the challenge, and it was Jalan Marco who started it all. He was the leading Casanova with the highest number of women he’d deceived and dumped.
Anna couldn’t help but feel like the most foolish woman on earth. She should’ve shine her eyes when Jalan decided to keep showering her with riches. She should’ve believed in her guts the first time she thought she’d seen the dark sinister look on his face inside the elevator. He was a heartless mute bastard, and a son to the cruel underworld billionaire Narciso Marco Giovanni. His dead mother was a mistress called Katerina Giovanni. Nate spilled out a lot of important information which she never knew about the Giovanni family though he’d refused to reveal secrets about his own personal life and the identities inside him_ She still has that same suspicion regarding Nate’s unstable mental health condition.
