Call 911.” Black yelled as he tore up his shirt and bandaged Micheal’s torso especially where the blood was spilling out, but Mikey couldn’t move an inch. He was still paralyzed in shock. What had he done? He almost shot his best friend and Michael got injured.
“Fuck it, Mikey. This isn’t the time to play victim, Call the bloody 911, lets take him to the hospital and then I deserve an explanation to why my own best friend would want to kill me.” He said shoving Mikey harder which seemed to have work as he quickly dialled 911.
“Michael can you hear me?” He said as he dropped his phone but Michael was just losing consciousness as he closed his eyes but Mikey shook him hard.
“Damn it, Michael. I am so sorry, I don’t know what came over me, I swear. I just…. Black, forgive me too, I just lost it. I didn’t mean to. I just got mad.” He said his gaze changing from his to Black who looked at him and said,
“Don’t worry. We are best friends, sure you tried to kill me but I am sure you had a perfectly good reason. But now, we need to think about Michael ok?” He said as Mikey nodded. Luckily the ambulance had arrived and the paramedics were already rushing into the office with a stretcher.
“Excuse me sirs, we will take it from here.” The paramedics said as Black nodded his head before they carried Michael onto the stretcher, and started treatment.
Cops came along as they decided to ask questions about what was happening.
“Excuse me sirs, I am Captain Jack and I would like to ask you some questions? How did your friend get shot?” He said to Mikey who had already zoned out of the conversation as he stared at Michael being wheeled away who ironically smiled at him giving him a fuck you sign before the elevator doors closed.
Black on the other hand quickly took the captain from Mikey and talked to him, giving him lies about what really happened but Mikey couldn’t care less. He was still angry at himself for even attempting what he had done. It was that bitch, the woman he was supposed to marry; she did something to him, when they had their meeting.
She had brought up questions about his dad, and more curious to know the fact, he kept trying to talk about something else but there was nothing much as she kept on swinging the clock in front of him as her mouthed words rang in his ears.
“Kill Black as soon as you see him.”
And that was exactly what he had done. Fuck, he had been hypnotized Everything became a blur as he remembered one of their past times together. One of the memories he had with Michael.
*****FLASHBACK*****
Michael and Mikey, had almost lost themselves, in the paperwork, that neither of them heard the door open, and close.
Baby! A woman shrieked startling Mikey, who accidentally ended up hitting his cup of water and it spilled all over their freshly printed paperwork.
Shit! He hissed, as Michael, was quick to remove all the electronics, from the desk. Now I understand, why you always get new electronics devices. Micheal mumbled as he began to wipe the liquid down.
His girlfriend had given him, a fucking heart attack.
What the hell are you doing here? What did I say about coming to my office, I told you that it was off bounds as I can’t afford, distractions? Mikey said obviously pissed off, as Farah, rolled her eyes and said,
“oh come on, baby. I just had to pay you a surprise visit, I miss you, we don’t see anymore.”
Mikey rolled his eyes, his girlfriend just wanted money, and she always came with the same excuse of missing him. Probably the one, he sent to her last week, had already finished. Yup, Angelico’s daughter was his fucking girlfriend till Angelico had sold her to Black, and since they were best friends he had broken up with her and kept it a secret from Black, only Michael knew about it.
She was wearing too much makeup and too little of everything else. When Michael glanced back at Mikey, he could tell he was doing his best, not to look amused. He seemed to be enjoying this.
Farah, we are preoccupied with work. We are busy. I can’t possibly leave what I am doing to entertain you. Liam said with clenched teeth, as he squeezed his fist.
Oh, that’s okay. my friends, Alicia, Sharon, and I want to see a movie. I was wondering if I could borrow something from you baby? the credits card, are all maxed out.
Mikey almost choked on his spit, as Michael suppressed his laughter.
He could swear, that he could see Michael’s face was growing red from all the restraint he was visibly showing. He was potentially another second away from laughing his ass off.
Jesus, on fucking crutches! Mikey whispered underneath his breath, before slipping out his wallet out of his back pocket and handed her a couple hundred dollars.
Thanks so much babe! She beamed as she planted her lipstick covered lips, all over her cheeks, and snatched the balls from his hands.
Just as soon, as she bombarded into this office, she sprinted back on out.
That was when Michael lost all his shit. He could barely make his words out; between the laughter and the wheezing.
First, of all, is she going to see a movie or is she going to buy the whole damn theatre? You just gave her like $600. She’s really something. He added wiping a tear away. A grin broke out on Mikey’s lips, as he replied
“She’s a fucking nightmare.”
Come on, she can’t be that bad, can she? He asked as Mikey arched at him, his eyebrows furrowed in disbelief.
Didn’t you just see what happened right now? Do you need more proof, before you accept that Farah and I aren’t compatible at all? It seems like you want a do over or something. Besides you have to take my side, not hers. Come on we are best friends for Pete’s sake. We have to be in this together.
I know, but all I am just saying is that she doesn’t seem that bad, maybe she had some redeeming qualities.
Yeah, being able to suck me dry and also my wallet too is a very redeeming quality. Do you want to have her too? I can just give you her contact you know.” He said as Michael threw his hands up in the air shaking his head violently earning a chuckle from Mikey.
Later, we will gist, right now, let’s work on this project okay. Michael said laughing as Mikey nodded his head, before they faced their work again.
