Chapter 56 What's up?
Chapter 56 What's up?
Daisy:
"So. Are you going to tell me Daisy?" Liam asked me and looked at me. I sighed and nodded. I didn't want him to fight with his mom because of me but I think he should know everything that happened that night. The night I told him James wasn't his son.
"Look Liam. I was sleeping and someone rang the doorbell. I thought it was you. I thought you forgot your keys.. I opened the door. It wasn't you. It was your mom and Becky. I recognized her, she was at your place once so I remembered her very well,"
"I know. I came home and found them both on my couch drinking wine. It almost beat me. But I want to know what they said to you. "And Becky and my mom too," Liam said, not letting himself be deterred. He wanted to know. I looked at him and closed my eyes. It would be best if I told him everything.
"Where's my son? Where's Liam?" a woman shouted at me. It was probably his mom and Becky was with her. I knew her. She'd been here a few times and always with the intention of scolding me.
"At work. I had to go to the hospital,"
"Who do you think you are? You're moving in with him like nothing's wrong. Doesn't that embarrass you? I know you've been dating my grandson James and I know everything about you," his mom shouted at me.
"I don't know what you know about me. You're definitely just gossiping, aren't you, Becky?" You did it with James, best of all," I said irritably
"You should be quiet. How dare you say something like that? I told everyone the whole truth about you," Becky shouted loudly. Where are you Liam? You could come home.
"The truth? You don't know anything about me.. Only that I dated James. You got everything from James and you don't know me. You have no idea what I'm like or what I do. So why are you interfering in my life Becky? Why?" I shouted loudly. I was angry. Every day some problem, some insult. Every day.
"Don't talk to her like that! You've got my son wrapped around your finger. You think he'll transfer all the assets to you but you're so wrong. That money belongs to James," his mother shouted at me. Still the same song..
"Just a moment. Just to be clear.. I'm with Liam because I genuinely love him. I'm not with him to get any property or money from him. I'm not like that. I keep him company. He helped me. Liam saved my life a few times when James tried to take him from me. I'm really grateful to him for everything,"
,,Then get out of his life. Liam is my only son and I won't let him be with some slut who has no money, no background and especially no parents. I know that you're not Mark Schmidt's daughter. Your father was just a homeless guy who had nothing. That's why he gave you up. Do you think I don't know that? I know a lot about you. For example, that you lived on the streets and had absolutely nothing," she shouted at me. Those words hurt me so much. To everyone, I was the one who had nothing. But Liam saw me differently and that's why I love him so much.
"But was it okay for James to abuse me? Was it okay for him to rape me? Was it okay for him to kidnap me? And was it just to get rid of me? Did anyone think about me then? No. He didn't. I was alone and the only one who helped me was Liam, so why are you all judging me for it?" I screamed out loud. I felt bad and all those words hurt me so much.
"This is your problem and I won't let my only son be with such a slut and such a loser like you. First of all, there's a big age gap between you two. Liam is a successful and rich man and you're a nobody. You're an absolute nobody. You have no parents, no money and most importantly, you have no background. Get out of this apartment. I don't want to see you here," his mom screamed at me. Everyone treated me like I was trash, like garbage.
"He'll look for me," I said and put on my jacket. I believed that Liam would be in the garage.
"That's hard. My son doesn't need a loser and a slob like you. When will you understand that he's got something better to do? When will you finally understand? He'll forget you very quickly and Becky will be happy to help him with that, but I never want to see you in his presence again. Never again. Do you understand me? You'll forget him. You'll erase him from your life and go back to the streets, exactly where you belong," his mother shouted at me. She was very cruel.
"I'll be happy to help him with that. He'll forget you. Liam and I belong together. We have a son together. You don't deserve to be with him. You don't deserve this," Becky screamed at me.
I left. I leaned against the wall. I don't even know if they were right but I ran away. I knew Liam would come looking for me but I had no choice. Those words his mom said to me were too cruel.
I opened my eyes and looked at Liam. He was probably in shock from what I told him. But I had to tell him the truth. He had the right to know.
"I left.. I didn't remember the way home. I remembered the way to the hospital but you weren't there. Chris was there. I wanted to disappear from your life Liam but I missed you," I whispered in a weak voice.
"My mom wanted to throw you out of the house. It wasn't enough, so Becky wanted to win me back. Daisy, this won't happen. I won't let you go. Look. You've grown so close to my heart. I love you. I know you don't love me. I know that, but I still want to fight for your heart, for your love, for your tenderness and I won't let anyone take you away from me. My mother has nothing to do with me and Becky lied to me. I have nothing to do with her, nor James. I want you and I believe that one day you will fall in love with me,"
