“after all this you want me to pretend to forget you are mine.” He said and looked at me with immense pain
“if we have to win we need to use every bullet we have.”
“I don’t like this bullet, come up with another.” He pouted, which meant he knew this is our quickest way
“I would be okay with it if it was you.” I said
“no you would not.” He replied raising a brow
“no I would really not. But it’s not me, could be fun torturing you.” I laughed.
“you torture me out there, I torture you in here.” He said
“deal” and we laughed
“let’s take a quick shower and go downstairs to look after Adam.” I said and got off the bed.
“wow.” Chase exhaled
“what?”
“you. Wow. We should have done all of this when we first met I don’t know what I was thinking. your mind is addicting but your body alone could kill a killer.” He said in the most casual tone
“stop acting like a virgin.” I rolled my eyes and went to take a bath while Chase laughed.
After we cleaned up Chase gave me some clothes.
“why do you have women’s clothes?” I asked raising a brow
“bought them the minute I met you, got an estimate of your size from the girls.” He casually mentioned and my heart was definitely audible.
“Chase?” I asked after a moment of silence wearing ‘my’ clothes
“yes killer.”
“will you be my boyfriend?” the minute the question let my mouth Chase closed the gap between us and kissed me like he had been craving me
“I’m yours killer” he said and turned to walk towards the door. That answer gave me another level of rage. A yes or no question so vaguely answered. I took a knife from the bedside table and flung it towards his neck, of course his instincts kicked in, he dodged and laughed. The knife crashed on the ground.
“yes or no.” I demanded
“actions speak louder than words killer.” He teased and opened the door and bolted with me right on his toe.
“when I ask a question you answer Dicanto.” I yelled and we raced downstairs towards the den where we saw everyone sitting. They all said their hellos but I was still fuming at Chase who was now hiding behind Anderson.
“what’s happening?” Anderson asked, lowkey scared looking at my face.
“get me a knife, we’re going to decide the fate of the gangs today.” I replied and everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at us. Chase laughed and gave me a come and get me look.
“Anderson do you want to die?” I asked and he shook his head and got out of Chase’s grasp.
He was only 12 feet away but I wasn’t armed.
“what happened?” Payton asked, slightly amused at the scene,
“yeah, what happened killer?” he asked being sarcastic
“actions speak louder than words, but why can’t you just say it?” I taunted
“cause my answer is obvious.” He replied
“to what question?” Vince asked
“so say it.” I challenged
“what is the question though?” Anderson asked with a cookie in his mouth.
“I'm obviously saying yes.” Chase said and smiled.
“good boy.” I replied and sat down next to Mila.
“what is the question?” Anderson shouted
“I'm officially Mr. Val.” Chase said with a goofy smile which I laughed to.
“yep.”
“okay, so who won the bet?” Vince said taking out his phone. Chase and I were not surprise they had an ante on us.
“Chase won.” Anderson said and that came to me as a shock
“you bet on us?” I asked
“I bet on you.” He winked
“this is not fair. I'm the only one single here!” Mila wined from my side. Adam entered the room with more cookies and sat on Chase’s lap on the chair across me.
“hey! Are you forgetting I exist?” Anderson said
“no, but you have your flock of girls to choose from while I am stuck in a situationship, fuck’s sake!” Mila slouched, Chase an I gave Anderson a glance.
“ehh, well. There is something I've been meaning to tell you guys.” He said
“if you claim to be in a relationship then I’m asking Chase to kill me.” Mila replied
“I got you” Chase winked at her and we giggled.
“no, actually. I'm not into girls, never have been.” Anderson casually stated,
“oh wow. Thank you for telling us, Anns. Nothing will change for us.” Mila got emotional, instantly,
“yeah. And now we’ll have better luck finding you a person to love.” Vince said patting him on the back. Payton gave him a smile a hug and kiss on the cheek. Adam also gave him a hug not sure about why everyone got so emotional.
