Chapter 58
KATELYN.
"I never expected you'd really come back. I thought you were trapped there." Hmmm... whose voice was that?
"I also didn't know that Kate would come to rescue me from that curse. I can't remember what happened, and I have no recollection." That voice must be Eligor's. Wait, where am I?
I slowly opened my eyes and saw Eligor and Loraine talking in the living room. The bedroom door was open, and it seemed like we were back in the normal world.
I tried to sit up, but suddenly, I felt intense pain all over my body. My legs were trembling with agony, and I couldn't even manage to sit.
"Kate?" Eligor glanced towards me, and he immediately came over, supporting me and propping me up against the headboard of the bed. Concern was evident on his face, and I couldn't help but break into tears, embracing him tightly.
"Thank goodness! Thank you for being here!" I hugged him tightly, afraid that if I let go, he might disappear again like a vision vanishing from my sight.
"Hush, don't worry, I'm here now, thanks to you." He reassured me, and I smiled, feeling him kiss my head and caress my hair.
"Ah, don't celebrate just yet. Eligor, you still have many things to fix before you can be with Katelyn permanently," Loraine said, leaning against the door frame with her arms crossed.
"I know, but I can postpone those matters for now. Right now, I need to take care of Kate." Eli replied, and that's when I realized the situation I was in.
I looked at my arms covered in bruises and scratches, not only my arms but my entire body was marked with wounds and bruises.
I looked at Eli; he was bowed down, his face showing regret. I noticed Loraine turning away and walking out of the room.
"You two should talk. I'll leave first." She excused herself and suddenly disappeared from our sight.
I could feel that Eli blamed himself for what happened to me. Perhaps he couldn't remember some of the things he did, and I knew he didn't have full control over himself, which led to this.
I gently held his face, and he looked at me, his eyes filled with sadness and shame, unable to withstand my gaze.
"Sorry, Kate, I couldn't control myself, and I did this to you. Moreover, I can't heal you; my powers are too weak right now," he explained, but all those things didn't matter to me.
All I wanted was for him to be free from that situation, so I could confess my true feelings and let him know how I really felt.
I smiled at him and leaned against the headboard.
"I'm sorry too, for saying hurtful words. I just didn't know what to believe when I found out that you were the man I kept seeing in my dreams," I explained to him to clear things up between us.
"No, Kate, I'm the one at fault in all of this. I didn't tell you the truth about my identity; I used you to gain strength and lied about things. I have so many sins towards you, and there's no excuse for me to ask for forgiveness," he said, and I couldn't say anything in response because I knew he had to do those things to survive.
"You're an incubus, and you have to do those things to stay alive. I can't blame you, and I know it's your job," I replied to him, and he let out a sigh while holding my hands.
"But because of me, your trauma got worse, right? And now, look at your situation, you have so many wounds, and you can't even stand because of what I did to you." I felt his hands trembling, and he was clearly nervous.
"I was actually thinking that maybe you shouldn't have found me. Maybe I shouldn't have invaded your dreams so you wouldn't be going through this pain," he explained, and I shook my head, still holding his hand.
"If you hadn't come into my life, I would have been sad, and I still wouldn't have escaped my trauma and nightmares from the past. If I hadn't known you, I wouldn't have experienced true love," I replied, smiling at him once again.
I never expected that he would get all flustered and avoid eye contact with me. Despite my body aching from the movement, I couldn't help but laugh and embrace him.
"Aww, hahaha, my boyfriend looks so adorable when he cries," I teased him, and he looked at me, utterly surprised.
"Your boyfriend? Are you taking back what you said before?" he asked, sniffling. I just nodded at him, and I saw his face light up.
"Promise? Do you really promise not to leave me?" he asked, and I nodded again, smiling.
"Yes, I promise. And I never want your heart to stop beating. What would I do if you were gone?" I asked him, and he started tearing up even more.
"So, does that mean I can become mortal now? Promise me you won't leave me!" I chuckled at him and kissed him, taking him by surprise.
I noticed that he blushed from that kiss. I pulled back, and we locked eyes, our faces so close.
"Kate, can I kiss you again?" he asked, and I nodded in response. He leaned in slowly, and our lips met. I felt his sweet kiss, and I reciprocated, sharing a passionate and warm moment. It was a kiss only he could give me.
We released a breath after that kiss, and I could see in his eyes that he wasn't fully satisfied, trying to restrain himself from crossing that line.
"Don't look at me like that, Kate. I know your longing gaze all too well. It's not right because your body isn't fully healed yet," he replied, and I blushed again, realizing I was wanting more too, but he was just trying to be careful.
"Do you remember anything from last night?" I asked, and he shook his head, his entire face turning red.
"No, I don't want to remember because I hurt you," he said.
How do I tell him that despite the pain and roughness of last night's encounter, I enjoyed it, and it was the most painful and pleasurable experience I've ever had?
"Hmm... but I enjoyed it," I whispered, but he heard me, and he turned to me in complete shock.
"What? Weren't you scared of my appearance? Kate, I'm a monster, and that form is a curse. The normal reaction should have been fear, not finding pleasure in it," he explained, and I couldn't find the words. All I knew was that he was incredibly wild last night, and he filled me with emotions.
"Um, even if you look like that, I accept you completely. I admit I was scared of you at first, but once I knew it was you, the fear vanished," I answered him. Tears formed at the corners of his eyes again, threatening to fall at my words.
My best friend cries easily.
"Don't cry. Even if you turn into a monster, I'll still accept you," I said, and he hugged me gently, careful not to hurt me.
"But, Kate, I just want to apologize because I know I scared you and hurt you. Don't worry; you won't see me in that situation again. I'm going to the council to ask them to cut off my wings, horns, and tail so I can become a normal human," he replied, surprising me.
"But... are you okay with that? It will change your entire life. You won't be immortal anymore, and you'll lose your powers," I asked him, but he just smiled at me and allowed me to lean on his chest.
"What use is my immortality if you'll leave me behind when you grow old? What's the point of my life if you're not by my side, right?" he asked, and I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by his words.
"But are you really sure?" I asked him, and he looked into my eyes, holding my cheeks.
"Are you sure you can love me for the rest of your life? Because if not, I'll die young," he said, making me laugh.
"I won't get tired of you. You're the only man who can handle me," I replied, and he kissed me again.
On my forehead, my forehead, my cheeks, my ears, and finally, my lips. But that kiss went lower and lower until it reached my neck, down to my chest.
"Wait, enough. We might not be able to stop ourselves. I can't move right now," I explained to him, and he grinned in front of me.
"Do you want it? If you really do, you can just stay still, and I'll take care of you," he replied, teasing his lips on mine, and I found myself staring at his moist, red lips.
I swallowed, here he goes again, tempting me.
"Hahaha, it's so obvious from your face what you want. Who would have thought that Katelyn Hernandez, the most elusive woman, would be hungry for my kisses?" he teased, and I rolled my eyes at him. Who wouldn't get addicted when his lips and tongue felt so good?
Especially last night, I couldn't get the events out of my mind.
"Hmp!" I gasped as I felt his hand slide into my underwear.
"Kate, I don't know when I'll be back, but I might be gone for a few days or months," he replied to me, and I instinctively covered my mouth because of what his fingers were doing to me.
"Why? Where are you going?" I asked shakily, realizing how sensitive I still was in that area. Even the slightest touch of his fingers felt electrifying.
"I need to attend the council, sort out my actions, and prepare in case I become mortal to be with you properly," he explained, and I saw him lean down to reach my core.
"Hmmm..." I lay back on the bed, feeling his gentle touch all over me.
"You're still so wet here, so sensitive. I can't help but think about what we did last night," he replied, teasing me with his thumb.
If only you knew, Eligor, it was so intense, I felt like I could lose my mind.
I felt the circular motion of his thumb on my core, along with his tongue touching the entrance.
"Aahhh..." I couldn't help but moan in pleasure. The pain in my whole body seemed to disappear, replaced by the pleasure I was experiencing.
"Kate," he called my name, and I looked at him.
"Will you wait for me, won't you?" he asked, and I nodded, my hand still covering my mouth.
"When I come back, will you introduce me to your parents?" he inquired, while gently inserting one finger into me.
"Where will we live? My apartment or yours?" he asked, and I took a deep breath.
"A-apartment, mine," I replied, looking at him. He showed me his tongue, and it felt like he was telling me not to take my eyes off him while he devoured me.
"Ugh... hmmmm..." my chest heaved with heavy breathing. My stomach trembled, and it felt like it was hurting from the long wait.
"Eli..." I called him, and he looked at me while still kissing my core.
"A-arre you t-the shadow that's a-always beside my bed?" I asked, wanting to know the truth, to ask if he was the man who watched over me every night.
He just nodded at me, not releasing his kiss on my core. I felt like he was kissing that part of me, the kiss that always covered my lips.
"If t-that's the ca-case, are you also the reason why other shadows disappeared from my dreams?" I asked, and he looked thoughtful, then nodded and released the kiss on my lower lips.
"They were here before me, but they got tired of waiting for you. Until you piqued my curiosity, and of course, I quickly claimed you, so they couldn't get close to you anymore," he replied, flashing a mischievous smile.
I swallowed, and I could see the sparkle on his lips from my essence.
He moved down again and licked me like a melting ice cream due to the intensity of his love.
I clutched the pillow, not knowing where to rest my head because of the pleasure he was giving me.
"E-li... I can't take it anymore," I pleaded with him because I wanted to feel him inside me, but he shook his head and approached me.
"Not possible, Kate. Your wounds are still fresh; you won't be able to move so soon," Eli replied as he caressed my hair.
"If that's the case, then just ease this overwhelming desire I feel," I said, guiding his hand to my stomach.
He smiled and nodded.
"As you wish, my princess."
