The dining starts as they begin to introduce each other to one another. They have gone from introducing each other to getting to know one another. And the women of Southland are enjoying the people of the Arab Lord s clan blood.
It is quite non existent thing that the people of Scotland will be able to accommodate them so easily but from what it looks they can attribute it to the fact that the men who come from the Arab side are beautiful, muscular and this draws the women of Southland who have set their eyes them.
Groups of people have began to speak to each other and in recent time, Vice finds herself alone after speaking to a number of people and the next person she sees who looks at her right into the eyes is general Hunter and she feels as if he has been avoiding her.
Like he has been doing all his best, all of his best to literally stay away from her and she feels that this is the time that she would at least use to speak to him. But she did not have to put so much effort in it because the moment she sees him she finds him, he comes closer to her like he also wants to talk to her. At least it saves her some shame at the end of the day.
So why did you decide to give it to me? She says to him and he looks at her.
"I hope it is not a mistake." He says and she smiles and tries not to look as if they were having a conversation that was not peculiar from everything others we're talking about.
She is to be the next queen of Southland and anything could easily put the stain on her name as people were always trying to do that. In order not to put runouts out there; she has to socialize and make it seem free.
"Of course you didn't make a mistake."I just think that you did a good thing.
"Okay." He says and he is ready to leave but she still has something to say. Instead of fighting, I want us to start all over again. She says and he looks at her.
It feels as If she has seen this look from on his face looks at her and she wonders if she said something so wrong for him to look at her with such disgust, he steps closer towards her and whispers something to her and she turns her face to decide to stay at the rest.
"For starters, we kissed, something that shouldn't have happened between the both of us and yet happened. But then you come here and you say we should start over again?"
What manner of woman are you? He says to her and she looks at him.
Exactly!? That is why I want us to start over again. Vixen says not understanding where he is coming from.
No. Hunter says.
Vixen is quite shock and taken back.
Men do not usually put her off in this manner, he is the first one to be so restricted when it came to her.
"I really do not want to have anything with you anymore." It is over. It is done. You shouldn't see each other again you are my brother's omen and will not put a stain so what's the both of you have even if you do not care about it? He says and there is form of silence present between them.
"Okay, good." If that is what you feel. There, no problem. I'll do my best to stay away from you. Just as you should do your step away from me. Vixen says.
Agreed. He says and she looks at him once again. The way he wastes no time. In pushing it away something she doesn't understand.
He walks away from her and she holds onto the a cup of wine and she feels like flinging it against him. If not that she is in the middle of people who were supposed to watch her good mannerism. She scoffs and then then back to find one of the Arab guests staring at her.
Vixen does not understand what it is but coming from what she knows, she knows that this person staring at her particular is one of the powerful ones who have come. So she is finds it strange and in fact that it was very unnatural for him to continue staring at her. It isn t as if they know her from somewhere as she doesn t know either of them.
The last thing this guests wants to do is take interest in her, he needs to know that she was the soon to be wife of the king became so close and she's no one to back away. So she stays where she is as she waits for him.
You must be the lady Vixen that everyone talks about. He says she looks at him.
"Yes, I'm Lady Vixen, but I do not know who talks about me." She says and then he smiles.
"The whole of Scotland talks about your beauty." My Lady. He says and Vixen nods in acknowledgement.
Vixen smiles and she is ready to excuse herself away from him, she's about to leave.
Would you walk with me? He says and she looks at him. She realizes that he truly wants to have this conversation with her and in order to make a scene she would gladly have to work with him.
Of course, if that is what he want, she says and they begin to walk together and everyone views them.
So when would you will you and the king be getting married? I heard the both of you have been in love with each other since small age.
Yes.
She says as she looks at him and she smiles, gives him the lie that she would normally give everyone very soon.
Yes, we are in love with each other. She says to him and then he looks at her.
Really? If you would ask me, from what I see you and Hunter make a good couple. He says and Vixen stops immediately and she looks at him.
Vixen doesn't understand what he means by that. Could he have seen something that brought up such in conversational intention? She thinks to herself but whatever it is. This makes her wonder what he must have seen or know, she has to think carefully before she talks about the next thing.
What are you saying right now, if anyone even hears of it. She says as she steps closer to him her from speaking and he continues.
"Of course; I would never say something like that in the eyes of anyone or in the hears of anyone." You shouldn't say things like that at all! She says and he smiles at the her as he looks at the bead on her hand.
"Your bead, it's quite beautiful." He says to her and she looks at him once again.
"I do not understand where exactly this is coming from or what particular motive you have to make you say such things." The things you're talking about are things that do not just go away and neither are they vague or simple.
In what velocity make animals say and focus on such things that have a reasonable truth behind them.
And once again, she looks at him wondering what exactly he knows about her.
Your name is? She says realizing at this moment, that she doesn't even know what the name of this man is.
"Oh, I am Lord Nathan." The advisor of our clan. He says and she looks at him.
"Oh, I see no." Then, I would advise you to quit saying things like this. It is of no good. If someone were to hear you and all of this blasphemy you spit. Do you not know they would think otherwise? And I don't want my reputation to be ruined.
Oh, boy what did I talk about? I simply said…
I dislike it. And I'm not going to go on and on about it with you. She says and she looks around.
"Do not ever say that it in front of me." Vixen says to him and she increases her voice slightly.
"Lord Nathan or whatsoever, you may have come here with all of this adoration with your clan members." All of these men may follow you but listen, I do not care even for a second.
"I am Lady Vixen and if you think I am someone who you can disrespect, then you are really wrong!?" Ask around, even the king does not bite more than he can chew when it comes to me. She says to him and in this moment she has dropped a mannerism that could accompany her position in this place, she isn t just speaking facts.
Then, I must have misspoke because you look really upset. He says at her and she looks at him once again.
"You will have to forgive me for I may still misspeak but you know what since I have already misspoken more than once. I would love to say something that would perhaps be something I shouldn't say." He says and Vixen looks at him and she doesn't understand where he's going with all these.
What exactly does he get the right and audacity to think that he can come right in front of her and spit things that are unworthy of hearing, especially things that have some truth behind them.
And what would that be? She says to him and at looks at her.
"I know what's going on between you and general Hunter but I don't know if I can prove it yet to the rest but very soon I will get there but dear Vixen, that is not what I have come to tell you."
"I am more interested in the bead and I have come here to threaten you, give me the bead or I will destroy the relationship you have been building with the king since a time ago." I am sure your family will not want to hear that, or have you ruin their reputation.
Or the whole of Southland, knowing of that little clandestine between you and the illegitimate son. He says to her.
She doesn't know what she feels right now. He has walked out in front of her. There is such a loud noise going on in the ballroom but all of a sudden she doesn't hear anything. All she hears is what he said repeating itself again and again.
