Facing revenge

"Do you think that pack of wolves will be your shield against us, you really don't know what you're up against?"

Araticus asked with irony, while Emes used his black clouds against the wolves knocking down some of them.

"I will not give up! No matter how hard you try to knock me down, you will not succeed; I will fight until I see you agonizing and repenting for your wickedness".

I shouted to him full of fury , while holding the shield of protection that covered all our bodies.

"Do you think you are brave? I assure you that I have seen many creatures like you the spark in their eyes burn , until they realize that their end has come "

Araticus muttered dodging the attacks of the wolves making his way to reach me.

"Your threats are useless , I am no longer the same you met on that lonely road . I know perfectly well what is your way to manipulate "

"Now you think you're an expert ? "I replied .

"Expert in battle and in defense, besides dodging your absurd words" commented the coyote as he flew over Araticús and hit him in the back making him fall on his knees.

"Araticús turned to the coyote in one swift movement and grabbed him by the back of the neck and lifted him into the air and placed him on his knees in front of him.

The suspense took over me, as I watched that macabre scene before my eyes, Araticús was preparing to break the coyote's head while trying with all his strength to stop him. I looked towards a corner and Grandpa over flew on Araticús's back to take the advantage over him .

"I warned you once not to mess with my son " Grandfather surprised Araticús and with a forceful kick dragged him to the other side of the hallway.

"Thank you father, you didn't have to rescue me "Said the coyote hugging grandfather. But not everything was won, the battle was still going on and I didn't have enough strength left to resist the attacks of Emes' dark clouds.

Carmina who was in one of the defense zones decided to enter the mansion to support us, she noticed that Emes were taking advantage over the wolf pack and that the energy shield that kept us safe was losing its strength.

"I think it's time to call for reinforcements " He said encouragingly , his giant dragon tailed wolf knocked down almost all the neophytes and all the wolves began to recover .

"I told you you had talent " I told her and she smiled instantly .

"You won't beat me of that you can be sure " Araticus said firmly regaining his posture after the grandfather's blow .

"I think it's time for you to say goodbye to your kingdom , because it won't last long " I told her regaining my strength .

"Are you sure? , you think you can trust all these people who claim to be your family " He said to me intriguingly , approaching me slowly .

"I can trust them more than I ever trusted you " I shortened the distance between us and swung mercilessly at him , punching him hard declaring my position in the face of his defense .

"Surrender now that you can , I am capable of sparing your life " I muttered under my breath as I struggled against his brute strength .

"Over my dead body , you are as weak as your mother . I remember when we brought her here she kept repeating your name as we poked deep into her mind "

"Don't you dare say a word about my mother " I retorted angrily , throwing a punch to her ribs .

" You don't know the pleasure it gave me to hear her scream , and scream as I tortured her " I muttered cynically .

" i Enough ! , you will never name my mother again in all eternity , because your miserable existence ends now . The anger was unleashed in me , I was like an enraged lion I did not want to stop hitting him until I saw him slaughtered . In one agile movement I held his body on my back and broke his spine in two .

"This ends here." I whispered , as I watched him gasp on the floor .

"If you kill me , your father will never remember you "He said between his teeth .

"But if I don't kill you we'll never have peace ; so I choose peace " I took the back of his neck in my arms and pulled it hard until I detached his head from his body .

"Damn you, how dare you, you wretch!"

Emes shouted , in despair watching as the reddish eyes of his father went out between my hands , while he tried to dodge the attacks of Carmina .

"I will make you pay with your life for everything you have done" He said with fury and a dark gesture on his face.

Carmina tried to mobilize him for a while, but Emes had his tricks to evade his attacks and hit her so hard that ola made her fly through the air as she approached towards me with speed .

"Not so fast , your father had his comeuppance and now you will get yours " Said the coyote surprising Emes from the right attacking one of his legs with a withering kick .

"Emes used his dark fog against the coyote, immobilizing his senses, but he didn't count on me to use my protective shield to help him.

Emes's face fell apart when he saw himself alone without Araticus in the battle, even though he had a large army of neophytes, he felt he was at a disadvantage against us, so he decided to use his dark darkness to wrap himself up and disappear from our sight.
