Part of the family ?

Coyote murmured , I had never heard him compliment a woman in the short time I had known him , but I guess this was all a front , part of the plan to make Carmina feel confident and safe among us .

Carmina rolled her eyes at him and we all looked at them for a moment.

"Before I was nothing more than a spoiled little girl , who did not know how to control her impulses , but now I am a young woman with quite a bit of experience .Especially in the area of hunting "

"I think family is a great concept which is worth defending . don't you think so ? "

Mentioned the coyote , getting into a deep conversation in a tone that could stir the waters in the dining room .

"I believe that with or without family to defend , creatures will always fight for their own interests . An example of this is the Pocaterra family , they always presume that they are a brotherhood that watches over the interests of our species , but in the end they are only interested in themselves ."

"That's true" I replied at once without thinking , jumping out of my seat . As everyone looked at me in disapproval .

Carmina de looked at me , and nodded her head in approval at the impulsive nervous breakdown I had just won over .

"I share the opinion you have about the Pocaterra , but the truth is that not all groups that claim to be a family seek their own interests ."

Debated the coyote , defending his position .

"Do you believe that each of us sitting at this table share the desire for the loyalty to the family that you preach so much ."

"I believe it " Affirmed the coyote quickly .

Carmina murmured ominously , staring at me .

"You said family was something worth defending , it's time for you to test the theory with this little practice ."

The coyote looked at me and looked at his father , Carmina had put him at a crossroads , he was paralyzed in the middle of the dining room not knowing which of the two to rescue the intense pain .

"I know you can read my thoughts , but that doesn't mean you have the power to beat me . You claim to know me , and that may be true , but you don't know what I'm capable of . Never believe that because you saw the shape of a person's face years ago you will always know what they are willing to be in the future ."

Carmina's reflection had a lot of coherence , I think that not even the whole Hall family could beat her , but we were not going to give up , not without giving a fly fight before .

The coyote jumped on Carmina trying to knock her down , succeeding in doing so . But she knew the capacity of her powers and the coyote's strength alone was not enough. So once I recovered, I maximized my shield to protect the coyote while it battled alongside her to avoid being immobilized by the stormy currents she was able to provoke .

After that Sasha stood on guard and decided to add to our strategy by giving a strong kick to Carmina's legs leaving her on her knees in front of us in a vulnerable way.

"You see , it's much better to work as a team than the lone ."

Commented the coyote with a smile .

"You think they have won against me , you can tell they don't know me yet" .

Carmina still had a couple of cards up her sleeve , cards that against me had worked very well for her , when I was in her den and her wolf had tried to bite my head off .

"You don't have to come to all this , why do you have to be so stubborn . Give up and let's keep talking , you're as annoying as a bedbug ."
