Chapter 9 Truth 2

"HAPPY.... BIRTHDAY. .. TO USSSSSS" yelled my twin in my ears

"Dude shut up you're making my ears bleed " I yelled and threw a pillow at him

"Come on man live a little, it's our Birthday, " he said catching the pillow easily

"Ok ok I am up and " I jumped on him held, his ear near my lips and yelled "HAPPY BIRTHDAY " I was so happy to do that

"Ow man that was really very loud, " he said pushing me off of him but then hugged me and I hugged him back, he might be an idiot but he is still my best friend and my only brother

After our little girly moment, we went downstairs to meet our parents who were yelling on top of their lungs wishing us happy birthday it was nice to have them around. like every year my mom makes the best birthday breakfast ever

After breakfast, everyone left to get ready for their daily chores as I was about to leave my mom stopped me

"Blake wait for a second, " my mom said her back was facing me

"Yeah mom," I said she finally turned around she was holding a little box, it was a blue box

"Here," she said passing it to me, I was confused

"What is it?" I asked her holding a box

"Open it," she said excitingly

So I did what I was told and it was a beautiful ring, a diamond ring to be exact

"It's a ladies ring mom why are you giving it to me?" I asked her confused, 'what's going on in that little head of yours'

"Its a gift," she said in a duh tone

"I know its a gift but why do I get a ladies to ring?" I have no idea what's happening

"It's not for you, " she said

"Then for whom?" I asked

"It's for Sarah you idiot," she said angrily

"What. why?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at her

"Fine I bought it when I was hoping for a girl but I had two boys instead so I saved it for my daughter-in-law, I want you to give it to her," she said calming down a bit

"Mom we are 16, you know that right? ? I can't just propose Her, what if she thinks I am crazy -" she cut me off

"Shut up boy, you're hurting my ears, " she said dramatically now I know where I get my dramatical genes. "and I am not asking you to propose her for marriage yet. its been 6 months you've been dating so I think she deserves a promise ring" she said looking anywhere but me.

Well, she did make sense. so I hugged her and promised her that I will give it to her at a perfect moment, and like always I went to Sarah's room through her balcony which is not that far from mine. She was standing there looking in her closet her hands on her hips. I slowly started walking towards her without making a sound and I was so close

"Hi, Blake, it's a total waste of time since you can't scare me because I'll always know where you are and what you're up to," she said without even turning around.

"Pff this is the third time you caught me, I mean come on how to do you always know where I am," I said hugging her from behind and buried my face in her soft hair which is my favorite part, she fits perfectly in my arm like she is made for me. This thought made me smile

She suddenly turned around and I jumped 10 feet above the ground. there she is laughing her life out like there is no tomorrow

The reason she is laughing like that. is because she has her face painted like a freaking zombie which scared the shit out of me. I didn't see that coming

"This is how you wish your boyfriend a happy birthday?" I asked her playfully glaring at her. She then stood up and hugged me and then jumped on the bed and started singing happy birthday while jumping up and down. She lost balance and fell but not on the floor

I caught her we were so so close to each other my hands are securely wrapped around her small frame. I Stared deep into her eyes, I can spend the rest of my life just staring at her, she is perfect

She started pulling away but she is too good to let go, which sort of irritated her. She started struggling to get out of my grasp but I only held her tighter

I eventually had to let her go cause her little brother stood at the door with a knowing smile on his face which made both of us blush

"Come on get ready. There is somewhere I am dying to take you" I said and went to my room the same way

2 hours later she stood in front of my room looking beautiful as an Angel, she is wearing purple jeans and a grey top and a scarf, her hair is let down as usual

I am wearing black ripped jeans a navy blue shirt and a leather jacket and sneakers. I held her hand in mine and pulled her out of my house

"I am not riding that, "she said scared, why? Because it's my baby my bike.

"Oh! Come on please just for me" I said sweetly but she shook her head "I won't let anything happen to you, I promise " I said honestly. She took a deep breath and hoped on putting on the helmet I've given her and wrapped her arms around me tightly, which bought a huge smile on my face

I drove carefully and about an hour later we reached my destination, its a sunset spot which is always calm and not everyone knows about this it is surrounded with beautiful flowers and fruit trees, the fragrance and so calming and relaxing

She got off and started walking around with her wide eyes and huge smile told me that she liked it. She was too busy admiring the beauty of nature that she didn't see me kneeling on one leg in front of her

She stood there shocked " Sarah Mathew you're the most beautiful and amazing thing that ever happened to me. You came in my life with a bag full of happiness. I would be really happy if you choose to stay with me for the rest of your life, I promise you that you'll never feel alone, I will be always there with you till my last breath " I said looking in her eyes, her eyes held so much love, I held her hand and placed the diamond ring on her slim finger

She hugged me so tight and kissed me with so much love and passion like never before

Later we were on our way back,  it was late maybe 8 in the evening, I was riding a bit fast I didn't see a truck coming our way, I tried to move away from the truck but the driver was too drunk. he accelerated and that truck hit us with so much force that Sarah went flying away, and hit a tree she hit her head so hard that it started bleeding, I wasted no time to go to her

I carefully placed her on my lap, I broke my right arm when I fell and my bike fell on me, my face is bloody, I have scratches all over my body but I don't care about myself right now. I am worried about my love, who is breathing heavily and her heartbeat is slowing down

"Stay with me baby please stay with me" I was begging her "please keep your eyes open please please please " I was crying, I don't want to lose her she is my everything

A car stopped near us and I think he is a doctor cause he was wearing a white apron

"We need to get her to the hospital now," he said and I nodded, I carried her bridal style and placed her on the back seat her head on my lap, I am still crying

When we got to the hospital, they rushed her to the operation theater I wanted to go in, but the doctors stopped me and said to wait outside

The police took my parents and her parent's numbers and informed them about what happened and where are we, I am too weak to even lookup

'I can't lose her, I can't lose her, I won't lose her ' i chanted in my mind, I was shaking with fear of losing her, the nurse begged me to get checked cause, I was bleeding too much but I refuse to leave her

Later my parents barged in and I lost all control I hugged my mom and cried on her dress " I can't lose her mom" I said pouring the life out of me, she rubbed my back and said soothing words to me,  she let go and Mrs. Mathew hugged me, she was trying to stay strong but failed miserably

They asked me to get checked but I didn't, I am waiting for her to get well soon, I am waiting for her to come out and hug me and tell me that she loves me and would never leave me but it never happens

Because the doctors came out with a sad face which broke me down I lost control and sat down the doctor bent down and " she said she loves you" he said sadly, he took my hand and placed the ring on my palm, I just kept staring at the ring moments ago it was on her finger

J hugged me tightly but I was too occupied at the moment I stood up wiped my tears " can I sew her?"  I asked the doctor he glanced at my parents and her parents " please " I begged they nodded and the doctor took me in.

The sight in front of me was horrible the person full of life was lying lifeless in front of me,  it killed me to see her like that so I ran, ran away from there and promised to never look back
