Chapter 14 Food Fight

I walked to my locker to get my books, that's when I see Mia running towards me 'she should stop doing that, make me feel unhealthy '

"Hey," I said taking my books out of my locker

"Hey, so are you going? " she asked me, excitedly

"You need to be more specific than that, " I said her, laughing lightly

"I was talking the Ball you dumbo," she said and smacked me an arm

"Ouch that hurts" I fake yelped

"Such a drama queen," she said rolling her eyes

"By the way what Ball? " I asked adjusting my bag on my shoulder

"The Ball dance, every year the school organizes a Ball all the other school final year students are invited, it'll be like a fairy tale, I don't know much about it, but my elder sister said its something you wouldn't want to miss," she said dreamily, there was a spark of excitement in her eyes

"I would love to add mocking her dreamily voice

"Shut up," she said playfully

"Who do you want to go with?" I asked her

"I don't know whoever ask me first, I guess," she said looking down

"Enough of me what about you? Who will you go with?" She asked. as we started walking to our first class

"I don't know, I was thinking about asking you but it'ss ok," I said faking hurt

"Sorry but I am straight," she said taking a step away from me

I playfully grabbed her by her arm and pulled her towards me and whispered "I like straight " then started laughing hysterically

Her face was priceless "look... at.. your.. face" I said laughing

"Hahvvveryome on let's go " she grabbed my arm and pushed me in the class

The day was full of Ball gossip, everyone is so excited about it and somewhat I'm too

"Hey guys," I said to all of my friends into the cafeteria

"Hey," they said in union

"So, do you want to go to the ball with me? " I asked randomly

No one I mean no one looked at me 'am I that ugly or something '

"Seriously no one. I am hurt" I said placing my hand on my heart

"Sorry we've been already asked, but do a thing ask Blake I am sure he'll go with you," Jason said smiling

"I'd rather go alone. thank you very much" I said sarcastically and started bitting my sandwich

"Why not? You guys seem so... umm happy together "he said rubbing back of his neck

I raised my eyebrow "happy? Really? Whenever we talk, it ends up in an argument and someone should separate us so we don't kill each other.  no thanks, I want that night to be special, I don't want to argue with anyone "I said rudely

"Hey lovely people and.. Hope," he said smirking, I just shake my head

He slides down next to me "Hope I know this is pure punishment for me but I will go to the Ball with you" he said, all the guys started glaring at him 'what's their problem'

"If its a punishment to you then I don't want to go with you," I said pouting

"You know I didn't mean that," he said sincerely

"Yeah I know, I would love to go with you," I said smiling

The day was over soon and I walked home since Derek had to go for football practice

'Shit where the hell did I put my keys' I started looking for the house keys but I didn't find it, looks like I have to wait for Grace to come home

I was sitting on the steps of the entrance that's when a fancy car parked at The Johnsons driveway

"Why are you outside? did she finally kick you out " asked a very annoying yet amused voice

"Very funny Blake very funny," I said irritated

"Really tough why are you out," he asked

I let out a long breath " I forgot my keys, I am just waiting for Grace to come back "

"Umm well.. you can um.. wait in my house till she comes back, he said messing his already messed hair

"No, t alright, " I said

"come on, "he said and grabbed my hand and pulled me up and dragged me to his house

He took out his keys to open the door

"Is no one home?" I asked

"Mom and Dad are on a date and Jason has his football practice, so yeah no ones home accept me," he said and opened the door

"Your parents are really romantic unlike someone I know" I was so engrossed in the beauty of his house that I didn't realize, he stopped walking and I crashed into him

"You think I am not romantic? " he asked narrowing his eyes

"Um-hmm" he was so close, his perfume was distracting me

"I thought so he said and went in

"I don't know about romantic but your seriously no fun" I yelled as he entered the kitchen behind him

"You think I am no fun" there was mischievous shine in his eyes

He was mixing something in a bowl. it was a flour. he took a handful of flour and threw it on me

"Am I fun now?" he said I was shocking, 'he didn't just do that' I was covered in flour

"Oh your so dead" I took the packet of flour and threw it all over him

"Game on Smith," he said took some eggs "game on Johnson, "I said and grabbed a milk carton

He and covered in different types of food

"What the hell is going on here?" Yelled an amused voice from behind us. We turned to see, it was Mr. Johnson he looked quite amused. behind him was his wife

"I am at home. What the.." Jason said and started laughing, I couldn't control it so I burst out laughing soon everyone else joined us

"Oh dear look at you, your a mess" June came to me

"It's ok June it's fine," I said nicely

"You smell like egg," Jason said pinching his nose

"Thank your brother for that," I said sarcastically

"Come with me you need a shower, " June said dragging me somewhere I am assuming her room

"It's ok I'll be fine and I can get into my room from Blake's balcony, "I said getting up to leave

"Rubbish I won't let that happen," she said and handed me some clothes

"There is the shower and if you need anything, call me," she said and left

I really like all of them accept Blake or I like him too.
