Chapter 494 Edward & Moira 39
Chapter 494 Edward & Moira 39
Edward's face was sharply defined and stern, his deep eyes fixed on her, and his wet hair continuously dripping water.
The water droplets slid down his muscular chest to his bulging abs, disappearing into his black, straight-cut boxers.
The water rippled as Edward walked up to her.
He tilted his head and smiled, "Ms. Sanders appearing in my room, are you trying to seduce me?"
Moira took a deep breath, "The staff must have made a mistake with the room number. I'm sorry, Mr. York, I'll leave right away."
She turned to climb out, but suddenly, a pair of large hands tightly gripped her slender waist.
Moira felt her breath catch, and when she looked back, she saw Edward's teasing smile.
"What is Mr. York doing?"
Edward tightened his arms, pressing Moira's back against his chest.
The warm touch made Moira's nerves tense up.
"Mr. York, men and women should keep their distance. Let go of me, or I'll have to call for help."
Before she could finish speaking, she felt something hard pressing against her waist.
Moira felt both ashamed and angry. Ashamed because they had been intimate before, and she knew what it was. Angry because Edward could have the same reaction to other women.
He didn't need her, Moira, specifically.
Moira thought she could accept Edward marrying and having children with another woman, but she was wrong. The thought of him being intimate with someone else was unbearable.
Her eyes stung, and tears began to fall.
She started to sob lightly, her shoulders shaking.
Edward noticed her unusual behavior and turned her around.
"What's wrong?"
Moira looked up at Edward, "Mr. York, do you have sexual desires for any woman?"
Edward squinted his eyes, "Jealous?"
Moira scoffed, "Mr. York and I aren't close. I'm not anyone to you. Why would you think I'd be jealous?"
Edward pinched her chin, looking at her defiant expression, unable to resist teasing her, "Then be my lover."
Moira bit her lip, "I heard Mr. York had a woman he liked. I didn't expect Mr. York's affection to be so cheap, finding a new lover so quickly."
Edward raised an eyebrow slightly, "That woman isn't worth mentioning. After all, she's a big liar."
Hearing this, Moira lost her confidence. She was indeed a liar.
She just wanted to find a hole to crawl into.
"I'm leaving."
Edward pulled her into his arms, "How about being my lover?"
Moira's eyelashes trembled, feeling very uncomfortable, "I don't want to."
Edward didn't give her a chance to speak further. He lowered his head and kissed her hard.
The kiss was not gentle at all, as if he was venting some emotion, until a hint of blood spread in their mouths.
Edward gradually became gentle. He missed her taste so much.
Once he touched her, he didn't want to let go. He wanted to possess her completely.
Thinking this, he did just that.
His hand pressed against her chest, "Baby, your heart is beating so fast."
He licked her earlobe, Moira's most sensitive spot.
Moira couldn't help but moan softly, "No, don't."
Edward's kisses trailed down her neck, slowly moving lower.
He untied the strap around her neck, and the thin fabric floated on the water.
Edward held her against the uneven wall of the spring, his legs squeezing between hers, "Ms. Sanders, you're so sensitive."
The steam enveloped their figures.
Moira felt like she was floating in the ocean, rising and falling with the waves.
She couldn't refuse Edward. She missed him so much, even though he didn't know she was Moira now.
He had been with other women, and it hurt her, but since she was leaving anyway, why not indulge tonight?
Moira wrapped her arms around Edward's neck, "Mr. York, can we go to the bed?"
Edward carried her out of the hot spring and into the room, throwing her onto the bed and pressing down on her.
In the heat of the moment, Edward called out, "Moira."
Moira's heart trembled. She cupped Edward's face and kissed him.
She called his name over and over, "Edward, Edward."
Late at night, Edward watched Moira fall asleep.
He removed the human skin mask, revealing Moira's beautiful face.
He kissed her swollen lips tirelessly, feeling satisfied both physically and emotionally.
"Don't leave me again, okay? When you wake up, we'll be together forever, alright?" Edward held her, feeling like he had the whole world.
Moira had a dream.
In the dream, she was entangled with Edward.
Suddenly, the human skin mask on her face fell off.
Edward saw her face, and in that instant, Edward's hand gripped her neck.
"Why is it you? Moira, how dare you come back? How dare you make love to me?"
Moira felt like she was suffocating and suddenly opened her eyes.
She saw a white ceiling and Edward's arm pressing on her neck.
No wonder she had such a dream; the culprit was this arm.
She gently moved it away, lifted the blanket, and got out of bed.
Looking at the sleeping Edward, she suddenly widened her eyes.
The human skin mask was lying on the pillow, so it had indeed fallen off.
Moira thought Edward hadn't noticed. If he had realized Edwardina was Moira, he would have woken her up and interrogated her.
She found her clothes, put them on, and quickly left.
Back in her room, Moira packed her suitcase and hired a car from the resort to take her to the airport.
On the way, she left a message for Raymond, saying she was resigning and would send her resignation letter to his email.
She also called Alice, who answered quickly this time.
Moira explained her situation, "Alice, please, you have to help me erase all my tracks."
Alice asked, "Did he know it was you and still made love to you?"
Moira said, "No, he must hate me. Alice, I'm begging you. I really don't want to get entangled with him anymore."
Alice was more familiar with Moira but had never spoken to Edward.
When she arranged for Moira to join Raymond's company, she had hinted to Raymond to give Moira and Edward some opportunities to interact.
She still hoped Moira and Edward could resolve their issues and be together.
Raymond was quick to understand, so he had intentionally or unintentionally created opportunities for Moira and Edward.
Alice didn't say anything else, just agreed to her request.
She asked, "Where do you want to go?"
Moira thought for a moment, "I want to go to Valhalla."
Alice, "To see Daisy and the others?"
Moira responded, "I want to clear my mind first, then I'll return home."
Alice agreed, "I'm very busy right now and might not be able to answer calls. If you need anything, leave me a message. When you get to the airport, someone will contact you to take you to a private airport."
Moira hadn't even finished saying "okay" when she heard gunshots, and the call was cut off.
She knew Alice was quite mysterious, but she didn't expect Alice to be involved in such dangerous matters.
But since Alice had agreed to help her and keep her secret, she trusted Alice.
After getting off at the airport, Moira hid.
Forty minutes later, Calvin contacted her and took her to the Fisher family's private airport.
