Planning a Surprise Proposal
Immediately they left, Isabella followed James home. It seemed like she liked James's place more than her parents' place. She told her mom that she didn't want to go to her place because that place reminded her of a lot of things that she didn't want to think about. So, she went to James's place. Trisha even invited her to her place, but she didn't bother going to Trisha's place. She said she wanted to be with James, as he was the only person that she felt was close. 

James was very happy knowing that Isabella was following him home. He opened the car door for her, and she entered immediately as he drove to his place. Yesterday, when they got home, they talked about a lot of things since they missed out, and then he prepared dinner for her just like he did yesterday. They ate together and enjoyed it. This time, she even slept inside James's room. James offered her to sleep in the guest room, but she said that she wanted to sleep beside him, so he was very happy. 

He didn't want to take the initiative because he didn't want her to see him as someone bad. That's why he didn't offer to let her sleep in his room. Saying as she requested it, he was immediately overjoyed, and they both went straight to his room and slept beside each other, talking about the rest of the things before sleep soon engulfed them. 

Meanwhile, James pressured Isabella to go home and see her mom at least, even if it was for some hours, that she could come back anytime. After talking to her, he suggested she go home. Isabella refused at first, but he tried to convince her, and she soon agreed to go see her mom. 

Immediately she left the house, James called Trisha and Rachel over to his place and told them that there was something urgent about Isabella. Trisha was scared at first, but then James assured her that it was nothing bad. 

“I just wanted to talk about something important and just concerning Isabella,” he said. The both of them arrived at the same time and went inside James's house. James welcomed them and served them some snacks and soft drinks. 

Then, knowing Trisha's behavior as someone who was impatient, she immediately asked James if he should tell her what they had come there for. She was eager to hear it as James broke the news to them. 

“I want to propose to Isabella, but I want to make it a surprise. You both are much closer to Isabella than I could ever have been. You know what she likes the most, so I want you to help me plan it,” he said to them as they were very happy. They were overjoyed for Isabella. Trisha and Rachel hugged each other out of joy as they immediately started planning, thinking of ways to surprise Isabella. 

They helped James pick out Isabella's favorite restaurants. They did everything for her as the proposed surprise proposal was going to take place tomorrow. They immediately mapped out everything and planned it all. James was surprised at how they planned everything in such a short time. 

In no time, Isabella came home and met Trisha and Rachel at their place. They immediately lied to her that they had come to check on her and only James was at home. They waited a bit, thinking that she would soon come back, and finally, she came back. The three of them hung out together. 

They discussed a lot of things, and they actually broke the news to her that they were going for dinner at her favorite restaurant tomorrow so that the three of them could hang out after a long time of so much fighting and settling, and to celebrate her recovery and their success as well. So, Isabella immediately agreed to go on a dinner date with her friends. 

As Trisha and Rachel soon left the house, they ordered a gown for Isabella, and Isabella wondered why Trisha and Rachel would actually order a gown just for a dinner party. She thought to herself, but she just shrugged it off as something that they just wanted to do. 

James and Isabella slept in the same room just like last night, and they both talked together. Also, James kissed her goodnight before both of them fell asleep after a lot of discussions they had together. 

Soon it was the following morning, and Isabella woke up to the sound of Trisha and Rachel laughing. She wondered what Rachel and Trisha were actually doing in her place early in the morning. As she stood up from bed and rushed downstairs, she found the both of them discussing over breakfast. James was nowhere to be found. 

She went down and asked, “What the hell are you doing so early in the morning?” They looked at her, and Trisha immediately greeted her. 

“Good morning to you too, princess! We are here to take you out. We are going to the spa. You have to do your hair and your nails.” 

“But it's just a dinner between the three of us. Why do I have to do my hair and get a makeover?” she said to them. 

“Just shut up, girl. Just do as we say,” they said to her. She immediately submitted. She knew that she couldn't win an argument with Trisha, so she had no option but to agree with her. 

She went upstairs back to look for James, and she couldn't find him anywhere. She raced back downstairs. “Did you guys meet James here this morning?” 

They said, “Oh, that? He immediately went out. He said he had some important business to talk about.” 

Meanwhile, James had gone to Isabella's parents' place to take permission from them. He immediately knocked on the door, and Isabella's mom opened it. She was stunned to see James standing right there. She immediately welcomed him in. 

She called Isabella's dad down and said he was also happy to see James there. They immediately thanked him for what he did for their daughter and everything. James said he was the one supposed to thank them because they had done a lot. 

“Thank you both so much for allowing me to have a chance with Isabella. Actually, I came here today to ask for your permission. I'm about to propose to Isabella, and that's why I am here,” he said. 

Isabella's mom and her dad both looked at each other, very happy as they were also surprised too. 

“Really? We have been waiting for you to come ask for permission for a long time. We would actually prefer you over Alex. Alex was never actually our choice, and we never approved of him. We just couldn't say anything because Isabella only had to go through with whatever she wanted. She was our daughter, and we did not have the right to actually interfere in who she chooses to be with. That's why we didn't say anything. But you are actually a good man, James. I really prefer you getting married to Isabella than Alex,” Isabella's mom said as James was overjoyed. 

He was very happy to hear that. He didn't even realize that he had already hugged Isabella's mother. He was crying already. 

“Thank you. Thank you both so much for giving me this chance. I promise you that I will never disappoint Isabella. I will always love her. I will give her all the love in this world that she has never received from anybody before,” he said. 

Isabella's mom also started crying. She hugged James and said, “Thank you for making my daughter happy, my soon-to-be son-in-law.” 

As they all laughed, James explained how he was going to propose to Isabella to her parents, and her mom insisted on being there. So James said she could actually be there, and he ordered a ride for them that would pick them up when it was time. 

He left Isabella's parents' place, and he didn't want to go home because he would not be allowed. Trisha and Rachel had already warned him that he couldn't come home until the proposal. He would only see her when he was going to propose to her. 

He wondered why they had to do all of this. He just wanted to punish him, he thought to himself, as he was already missing Isabella so much. Like, he didn't even see her this morning before leaving home. 

But he just had to be patient. He knew that he would be with Isabella for the rest of his life as he kept on driving. Then, Isabella was already done at the spa, and Trisha and Rachel were overhyping her. 

She looked so beautiful. Soon they started with her makeup. Everything was done: all her nails and everything. She was ready by around 7 PM. Then they immediately drove back home to get her dress so she could get fully ready before heading to the dinner. 

They were supposed to arrive there by eight on the dot, so all of them went back home to get dressed. Trisha and Rachel pushed Isabella into the room to get her dress on, as it was already getting late. They didn't want to be late for dinner. 

Isabella went into the room and looked at her dress. The dress that Trisha and Rachel had ordered for her was very beautiful. Unknown to her, it was James who actually picked out her dress. But James didn't want her to know. That's why Trisha and Rachel had lied that they were the ones who picked out the dress. 

The dress was so stunning that she wondered why they had picked such an extravagant dress just for dinner. But she didn't argue with them. She knew that Trisha and Rachel were someone that she couldn't even win an argument with. 

As she put on the dress, she looked at herself in the mirror, and she looked like a princess. She walked out of the room, and immediately Trisha and Rachel saw her. They were stunned as their jaws dropped.
