While Isabella and Trisha were chatting happily and eating their lunch, someone walked up to Isabella. 

"Isabella, where is Alex? Did you notice that he isn't in school? What is going on? Why isn't Alex in school?" the girl asked Isabella as Isabella looked at her, surprised. She had actually been so happy seeing Trisha and her returning to school that she had completely forgotten about Alex. Now she realized that she hadn't even seen him since. Why didn't he come to school? Was something really wrong with Alex? She thought to herself as she looked up at the girl. 

"I don't know why he's not in school, and I don't know why you're asking me," she immediately dismissed the conversation with the girl. 

The girl just looked at her, stunned. "I thought both of you were together, that's why I came to ask you. Sorry for disturbing you," she said as she walked away. 

Trisha looked at Isabella, worried. "Just forget about what she said, Isabella. You don't have to think about it too much. Just remember that you are just recovering. Think about your health. You don't have to think too much," she said to Isabella. 

Meanwhile, Isabella was already thinking about it. Why wasn't Alex in school? Now she came to realize that she hadn't even noticed Alex at all. She just realized that he hadn't even been present in school. What could have happened? What could be going on? Was he plotting something against her? Was he really planning something else that would hurt her? She thought to herself as she felt a shiver of fear run through her spine. 

"Why am I easily scared of Alex? What is really going on? Why is Alex doing this?" she thought to herself. "I just hope he's fine, and I just hope he's not planning anything." She thought as she looked at Trisha helplessly, and Trisha just nodded, assuring her that everything would be fine. 

As they kept on eating their lunch, Trisha saw that Isabella's mood had easily changed upon hearing Alex's name, and she really wanted to do everything in her power to bring Isabella's liveliness back. But there was nothing that she said or did after that that made Isabella laugh or smile. She knew that Alex's matter was really affecting her a lot. She saw how scared Isabella was just upon hearing Alex's name, and she felt very angry. 

She wished she could just see Alex right now. She would directly punch him in the face for doing this to her best friend. But first, she had to calm Isabella down. She had really noticed it since Alex did not come to school. But she didn't say a word about it because she didn't want to hurt Isabella's feelings. Now this girl just had to come here and ruin the mood for her.

Meanwhile, Alex was sitting on his bed, thinking about the humiliation he had faced at the hospital the other day. "I can't believe that Isabella really did all this to me. And I can't believe that she made me feel such humiliation. She really watched while her parents threw me out of the hospital after everything I did for her. After helping her regain her memories, this is how she repays me? No worries. I promise myself that I am going to make Isabella face much more than the humiliation I faced today. I will make her life a living hell starting from today."

"And I'll start doing that right from school. I'll make sure that she's embarrassed in front of so many people that she wouldn't be able to show her face in school anymore," Alex thought to himself. "I will do everything to tarnish Isabella's image. For hurting me like this, she will pay tenfold. I'll make sure to show her that nobody messes with me. Isabella really thinks she can get away with all of this. She really thinks James will just come out of nowhere like a knight in shining armor and rescue her from my clutches? Never. Isabella is mine, and I will make sure to show James how important I am compared to him."

"I'll get married to Isabella by any means, and I'll make sure I make her life a living hell. She'll regret ever being with me or ever knowing someone like me. She will regret the day that she made me face so much humiliation," Alex muttered to himself. "Isabella, just wait and watch. The drama is about to unfold. I'm going to make your life a living hell. You will beg me to kill you to escape the punishment I'm going to give you. And I won't kill you easily, Isabella. I'll make sure you suffer first. I'll make sure your parents beg me to marry you and take you in. You will suffer for the rest of your life, Isabella, for making me feel dismayed and for making me feel such embarrassment. You will pay for it," Alex thought to himself.

"But how would I do this alone? I can't do this alone. I really need someone to help me carry out all of my plans." Then the thought popped into Alex's head. "Yes, Lily. Lily is the key to revenge against Isabella and James. Lily is the only one who can help me in this matter. I need to go see her right now."

As Alex immediately stood up from the bed and changed his clothes, he grabbed his car keys from the table and drove out of his house on his way to go see Lily. He drove recklessly into Lily's compound as he rang the doorbell. 

"What is it now?" Lily muttered to herself as she went to the door. She was surprised to see Alex standing there. 

"Wouldn't you invite me in?" Alex said, pulling her out of her shocked state.

"Fine, come in," she scoffed at him. She closed the door behind him and sat on the chair without even telling Alex to sit down. Alex did not wait for her to say anything either before he sat down on one of the chairs.

"So why are you here? What made you think of me?" Lily said to him sarcastically as he just looked at her.

"Can't you be nice just for once?" he said as Lily scoffed.

"Why would I be nice to you of all people? You sent me to prison, remember? So why would I be nice to you? Me even allowing you to step into my house is one favor I am doing for you. So get on with it. Why the heck are you here?" she said to him.

"I really need your help this time, Lily. I really need your help to get revenge on James and Isabella. I can't stand what she has done to me. I need to get revenge on her, and I can't do it alone. That's why I came here. I need your help, Lily. I'm begging you. Please forget everything that ever happened before. Forget that I ever sent you to prison. I'm sorry. I will help you get James back if you help me get Isabella back so I can take my revenge on her," he said.

Lily looked at him and laughed out loud sarcastically. Alex just sat there, looking at her laughing like a maniac. 

"So what's making you laugh, you crazy bitch?" he said to her.

"No, no, no, no, Alex, you can't abuse me, remember? You want to ask for a favor from me. Any slight mistake you make now will determine if I will help you or not. So you have to speak to me nicely," she said, smirking.

"What makes you think I'm going to help you, and what makes you think that I would believe you? What if you are actually setting a trap for me? Do you think I'll fall into your trap like I did the other day? Never! If not for you tricking me the other day, Alex, I would have been with James by now. But you tricked me into telling you the truth about James and Isabella. I can't even believe that I fell into your trap. I was always thinking of ways to get revenge on you, and now you want me to join hands with you to get revenge on Isabella? Really?" 

"Just trust me on this one, Lily. I'll help you get James back if that is what you want, but only if you help me get revenge on Isabella and make me get married to her. I'll help you get James back," Alex said to Lily.

As Lily looked at him up and down, she wondered if he really meant what he was saying right now or if this was another trap. She thought to herself, "Maybe I should just give it a try. If he can get James to be with me, I think it would be worth the effort." 

"So what will make you do something that will convince me that you are actually not setting me up in a trap?" she said to Alex.

"Okay, this is the thing," he said as he opened his phone and showed her a video of Isabella embarrassing him and humiliating him at the hospital. "Is this enough evidence to make you believe that I really want to take revenge on Isabella?" he asked her. 

He knew that Lily wouldn't believe him easily. That's why he had immediately asked for security at the hospital to send him the footage of what happened that day so he could show Lily, so that she could believe him that he really wanted to take revenge on Isabella.

Lily watched the video and laughed out loud. "So now you want to get revenge on Isabella because of what she did to you at the hospital, right? No problem. I'm going to help you. But on one condition: James has to be with me. You have to promise me that you will make James and me be together," she said to Alex.

As Alex nodded his head, they shook hands. "Okay, it's a deal. Now we both are partners," they said to each other as they shook hands, staring sternly at one another.
