Chapter 153: An Emergency

Her phone rang as she immediately came back to reality and picked up her phone. She placed it on her ear and immediately found out that it was an unknown number. She wondered who was calling her and she placed the phone on her ear and spoke into her phone, “Please. Who is speaking?”

She said into the speaker as James' voice rang out.

“Hello? Trisha, are you there? Please, I need you to get me out of prison right now. Alex did something. I was with Isabella in the ward when Alex came and arrested me and charged me with murder. That I was the one that planned everything and that I wanted to kill Isabella. Can you imagine that?”

He said all of those things to the police and now I'm in their custody. I need you to get me out of here before 24 hours or else Isabella's life would be in danger.” He said to Trisha as Trisha got scared and she immediately spoke up.

“Yes, I'm coming over there right now. I'll get to build,” she said to James, as she cut off the call and immediately called her lawyer as she was dressing up.

Then Rachel immediately stood up.

“Don't worry, you go bail out James, I'll go speak with Alex,” she said to Trisha as she immediately took her handbag and went out of Trisha's hostel room.

Then she boarded a cab and went straight to Alex's house. She didn't even bother knocking on the door as she just barged in on Alex and she saw him holding a glass cup filled with wine. He looked as if he was celebrating.

“I think he's happy because he had already succeeded in putting James in prison by lying,” she thought to herself as she stormed over to him.

Alex looked shocked. “What are you doing here? Who gave you the permission to barge into my home just like that?” He said to Rachel as Rachel just smirked at him.

“Who are you? What do you think you're doing? Why did you accuse James wrongly? Why did you accuse him of murder? You know how much James loves Isabella. How would he of all people try to kill Isabella? You are just a bloody liar, Alex. And I know what's wrong with you. I know why you are doing all of this and you have to stop or else you wouldn't like the repercussions.” She threatened Alex but Alex just laughed out loud.

“What are you going to do? There is nothing you are going to do about it, I promise you. James is going to spend the rest of his life in jail.” He said to Rachel as Rachel just smiled at him.

“What are you even saying? You are falsely accusing someone of what he didn't do. You think he's going to spend the rest of his life in jail?. Just so you know, he's going to get bailed out before 24 hours because he's innocent. And if you don't call the police station right now and explain the truth to them that James is innocent, you wouldn't like what I'm going to do.”

“Do you think I don't know everything you've been doing to Isabella? And do you think I don't know your plans of killing Isabella? I know you don't really love Isabella anymore and I know you just want to kill her and make her life a living hell.” She said to Alex as Alex looked at her, shocked.

“What? How did you know all of this? What the hell are you saying? Why would I kill Isabella? I love Isabella. Why would I kill her? He said to Rachel

“Just stop it already. Drop the act, Alex, don't act in front of me. I know your true character. I saw you that day inside Isabella's ward trying to strangle her. And the way you were acting aggressively to her. I know that you don't just love Isabella anymore and I know that you want to kill her and I have evidence against you.” She said to Alex.

“And if you don't call the police station right now and claim James's innocence, I will expose your secrets to Isabella's mother. And I bet by that time they wouldn't even allow you to go anywhere near that daughter.” She said to Alex as she threatened him.

Alex looked at her shocked. “How did you get to know all of this? How did you see me that day? I made sure that nobody was there that day when I was talking to Isabella inside her ward. And how did you know I am planning to kill Isabella? You know too much that you are supposed to know and it will not be good for you.” He said to her as Rachel continued threatening him.

“If you don't drop the act already, Alex, I'm going to expose your secret. I might even show that video to the police.” She said she threatened him as Alex became afraid.

“Please don't do that. I promise I won't do anything to Isabella and I'll call the police station right now, I promise you.” He said to Rachel, feigning fear.

Meanwhile, as Rachel turned back about to walk out of Alex's home, he took a vase from the table and smashed it on her head as Rachel fell down and fainted immediately.

Alex grinned and smirked at the same time. “You think you can threaten me that way? You think that I'm that easy to threaten? No way. You are not going to expose my secret.”

As he carried her and took her into a hidden room, he locked her in there, immediately brought out his phone and went into his room as he dialed a number.

“Hello, when is the package getting here?” He said into the speaker as the other person actually replied to him that it will get there soon and he was very happy.
