CHAPTER 50: Fooled

Sebastian

"What, what!?" galit na galit na tanong sa akin ni Papa matapos kong magpunta sa bahay pagkagaling ko ng Bean Island.

"I don't know why you are so angry with me, Dad. May ginawa ba akong masama?" tanong ko hopefully he doesn't know about Avery.

"Masama you say? Pinatawag ako ng Committee, Sebastian Miguel," sagot niya na bakas na bakas ang galit sa kanyang boss. "Are you aware of what you did?" tanong pa niya sa akin.

"What dad? Why don't you enlighten me. Wala akong idea sa sinasabi mo," naguguluhan at kinakabahang tanong ko sa kanya.

"Who let those fake investors in our country?! That was you! Damn it, Sebastian! You let them in here too and the worst part is you let their business be legalized here. What the hell are you thinking?" nanggagalaiti na tanong pa niya. "You let those mafia-related bastards do what they want and they took advantage of it! Hindi ka ba nagbabasa ng contrata o nagsasagawa ng background check huh?"

"Dad, what are you saying? I didn't let any Mafia in here. I'm well aware of people I let in. They are recommended by my friend," kalmadong sagot ko kanya.

"And who's this friend of yours huh? Haize Moscow?"

Napatingin ako sa kanya. How does he know about him?

Meron din silang human smuggling at mga clubs na kung saan doon nagaganap ang mga illegal transaction ng taong may koneksyon sa mafia. Walang habol ang anumang klase ng autoridad once na legalized na ang business ng mga ito sa ilalim ng Duke o sino mang royal blood ang nanunungkulan sa alinmang bansa.

Pinagpawisan ako ng butil butil.

"Dad I swear, wala akong ideya kung sino ang mga taong ito," sabi ko sa kanya habang pinupunasan ko ang pawis sa aking noo.

"Hindi ba sinabi ko na mag-background check ka muna bago ka tumanggap ng investors dito sa Aster hindi ba? Tell me, bakit mo ginawa iyon ng hindi nagtatanong sa akin?! "What!? Avery again! Hindi ba sabi ko tantanan mo na siya! Ang tigas ng ulo mo! Isa ka-" hindi natuloy ang sasabihin ni Dad dahil bigla itong napahawak sa kanyang dibdib at tuluyan ng napahiga sa sahig.

Agad ko siyang nilapitan.

"Dad! Dad! What's happening!?"

Sumigaw ako upang may makarinig sa akin. Agad naming naitakbo sa hospital ang Dad. Si Mama na kakauwi lang mula sa orphanage na itinayo niya'y labis na nagulat sa nangyari.

"How's my husband, Doc?" tanong niya sa doctor habang naghihintay ng resulta habang nasa Emergency room ang papa.

"He had a heart attack. Mabuti na lang at naisugod siya ng maaga dito, your grace. Kung hindi, it will be dangerous. I suggest that the former Duke shouldn't stress himself out and avoid being angry too much. Before he had an attack. He was probably arguing something that made him angry," sagot ng doctor sa kanya. Napayuko na naman ako.

Narinig kong bumuntong-hininga ito.

"I... I let some Mafia men in here. And the worst is I legalized their business here," sagot ko sa kanya.

Napatingin ito sa akin.

"Again? Avery again? What the hell is wrong with you?! Itinaya mo ang kapakanan ng Aster at ng ating pamilya dahil kay Avery? Anong kahangalan ang ginawa mo!? Ilang beses ko ng sinabi sa iyo na tantanan mo na si Avery! Bakit ba napakatigas ng ulo mo? Hindi kita pinalaki ng ganyan!" galit na sabi ni Mama.

Yes, I admit it. Isa akong malaking bobo. Kung bakit kasi hindi ko nakita ang hidden agenda ni Haize. If only I didn't insist on having Avery back, hindi sana ito mangyayari! What the hell is wrong with me?

"I only did that Mama because I love Avery so much and we have a son," sabi ko.

"I know that Sebastian," sagot ni Mama. "But do you think Marius just let you have that child? No! He probably marked Avery again to be imprinted his genes to your child. Nabigla ako sa sinabi ni Mama. Wala akong alam sa sinasabi niya. Yes, ilang beses ko ng kinarga ang aking anak ngunit ni minsan ay hindi ko ito nakita na hindi umiyak and that choker band! Damn it! Naisahan na naman ako ni Marius! Curse that bastard!

I will end this myself. This is all Marius' fault! Kasalanan niya ang lahat! Kung sana ay naging mabuti siyang alpha kay Avery noon, hindi sana nangyari ang lahat ng ito!

"Don't worry Ma. I will end it," sagot ko sa kanya bago tumayo at aakmang aalis.

"Saan ka pupunta Sebastian?" nag-aalalang tanong niya sa akin.

"I need to clear my mind ma. And plan something about those mafias here," sagot ko sa kanya.

"Sebastian, they're dangerous. Don't do anything!" pasigaw na sabi sa akin ni Mama habanh humahakbang ako palayo sa kanya.

I'll end it once and for all. In order to do that, I need help from someone.

"Oh? What a surprise," sabi sa akin ni Lemuel ng makita niya akong nakaupo sa isa sa stool ng barcounter ng bar na pag-aari niya. It seems like a normal bar but I knew illegal transactions such as drug dealings are also happening here.

"I need your help," sabi ko sa kanya.

"Help? Why?" nakangiting tanong niya like he doesn't know what the hell is happening. "Ah, you finally found it, right?" aniya pa bago tumawa.

I hate this Omega's guts. He's like he's mocking me but I don't have any choice. I'm sure he isn't close with Haize that much. If he can help me, I can solve this all before I kill Marius. And if that happens, I flee. I don't care anymore where Avery, my son, and I will go.

CHAPTER 51

Lemuel (he'll be appearing on At his Mercy)

"You want my help right?" tanong ko sa alpha na nasa harapan ko.

Nakita ko ang hesitation sa kanyang mga mata but I can see that I can sink my teeth in him. Just a little bit of persuasion and he'll be completely mine.

Hindi ito umimik. It's like he's battling with himself whether to ask me for help or not.

"Tracet this Haize bastard and his associates, Lemuel. I want them to be delivered to me fresh, uncut and intact," sabi sa akin ni Duke pagkauwi galing sa mission na ibinigay niya sa akin.

"What? Another work again? I haven't get laid for so many days boss," reklamo ko sa kanya. "Tigang na tigang na ako," sabi ko pa.

Tumawa ito.

"You can f*ck alphas you want specially Haize if you want. I know you can do it at the same time do your job. Bring him to me after you are satisfied," sagot niya.

My original plan is to harass Haize. But when I saw this Duke Sebastian and his persistence of having another Alpha's mate I was thrilled. This manwhore, I should teach him some lessons. I even opened up a few restaurants here to monitor him and had an excuse to Duke why it's taking me so long to do the job.

"Help me to close all the illegal businesses here, please. Wala na akong ibang pwedeng malipatan. I'm desperate. Haize tricked me so please. Help me," sabi pa niya.

Lihim akong napangisi.

Pagkatapos kong pumirma ay pumirma na rin siya.

"I'll have to notarize to legalize the deal between us," sabi ko pa.

"Sure do what you need to do," balewala niyang sagot.

"Okay. When do you want me to shut the business down?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"The sooner the better," sabi niya. " But wait, hindi mo ba sasabihin sa akin kung anong payment ang gusto mo? O kung magkano?" inosente niyang tanong.

"I'll tell you when I'm done making your request. And by then, I hope you're ready, uhm I mean the payment I want is ready," sagot ko sa kanya.

Pagkatapos ng aming usapan ay nagpaalam na siya sa akin.

"Another fish you caught?" tanong sa akin ni Milo, a beta male, one of my right-hand man.

"No. He is my gold fish. One rare golden fish," sagot ko sa kanya' earned me a laugh from him.

"Matindi! Hanep! May pa-payment payment ka pa dyan but you only want his sweet ass," sabi pa niya.

"Maybe this time, I want a pet that is for keeps," sagot ko sa kanya.

Tumawa lang ito sa sinabi ko.

"Idiot. Try convincing me," sabi pa niya habang lumalakad palayo sa akin.

Bumalik ako sa aking lounge habang pangiti-ngiti. Who could have taught that everything goes according to my plan?

Biglang tumunog ang laptop ko. Nilapitan ko iyon ay nakita ko ang mukha ni Duke na naka f*ck sign na nakalitaw sa screen.

Wala akong ibang choice kung hindi hintayin matapos ang Boss sa ginagawang live show.

I endured ten minutes of forcefully watching their show before finally, the boss pulled his rod out of the omega and told his men to take the omega out. Napansin kong hindi ito ang purchased omega na nabili niya sa isang auction.

"I figured it out. So when do you deliver these traitors? I have a demand from organ buyers. I need more organs and those people you will deliver with me will be cut open alive once they are in my hands," sabi niya.

"Don't worry. They will be delivered fresh, uncut and unwounded," sagot ko sa kanya.

"Okay but what about this Duke you have your eyes on?" tanong niya bago humithit ng yosi at bumuga ng usok.

"Boss, I didn't know you were into gossip too," sagot ko sa kanya.

"Bastard, the news travels fast than the bird," sagot niya sa akin.

"How fast was that? Kanina ko lang nakausap si Sebastian. Tapos alam mo na agad? My CCTV ba dito sa opisina ko?" tanong ko.

Tumawa ito.

"Stupid, you like my brother so I have to monitor you. And yeah, I can see this one fine alpha with you,"

"Sabi ko na eh. Boss, that's unfair. I have a thing called privacy," sagot ko sa kanya.

"Privacy my ass. You f*ck you alphas inside your car with our men inside you, idiot. What the hell is privacy?".

Ah. There is no use of reasoning to this boss. He's a bastard, a killing machine that exists only for sex and killing. Opposite to his twin brother, Jaxon who is calm and a very reasonable guy.

"Break him already and get it done with it. I need you to deliver those bastards to me," sabi pa niya.

"Boss, I haven't had sex for f*ck sake. Give me a break already or I'll withered," sagot ko sa kanya.

Tumawa ito ng malakas.

"Just pick some alpha and f*ck it," sagot niya habang tatawa-tawa pa.

"Boss, you know me. I don't do f*ck just like that. I need to prepare them until they can't resist me. And also that Duke is my target," sabi ko sa kanya.

"Okay. Just remember why you're there, squirt. I'll be waiting for your grand return with that bastard and your plaything," sabi niya bago nawala sa screen ng laptop.

"Lemuel, Haize's outside. He wants to talk to you," sabi ni Milo ng pumasok ito sa lounge.

"I don't know. He said he wants to talk to you," sagot ni Milo.

Paglabas ko ng lounge papasok sa bar ay nakita ko si Haize na kaswal lamang na nakaupo kasama ang ilan sa mga tauhan niya.

"You wanted to see me, what a surprise," sabi ko sa kanya bago naupo sa opposite na upuan sa mismong harapan niya.

"I want to know if Duke will show in Bean Island," sabi niya bago nagsalin ng alak sa kanyang baso.

"Nope. Bean Island is the least of his priorities. You can do whatever you want. And also he doesn't know that you are using that island," sagot ko sa kanya.

Ngumisi siya.

"My archenemy will be there tonight," sabi niya sa akin.
