Chapter Twenty-Four-1
Today's magazine interview and photoshoot had seemingly gone on forever but had been hugely beneficial for the band according to Johnny, who never once shut up on the short drive back to the hotel. He spoke non-stop about the exposure we'd get and even expressed extreme excitement over becoming internationally acclaimed come next month when the magazine went to print. Jax and Kyle headed straight for the hotel's bar upon our arrival, leaving myself, Matt and Jonny with nothing to do but seek out our significant others. Our manager found his first, which then led us to the whereabouts of Rosie and Yazmin; the pair apparently getting ready upstairs. "She's just helping Rosie with a few bits," explained Roxy, taking Johnny's lips lovingly hostage. "I'd say you have a quick five minutes to shower before she'll be ready. You too Matt." Without so much as uttering another word, Matt and I both took off in the direction of the lifts, desperate to wash today's dirtiness off our skin. Thankfully, I managed to do so in record breaking time and afterwards, stepped into a pair of black slacks, coupling it with a crisp, white shirt. I left the last two buttons open in a casual sense, though with two shiny black shoes sat comfortably on each foot, there was no taking away from the fact that I was dressed to impress. Brand new and hardly worn in, both slipped on the hallway carpet outside, subjecting me to an endless amount of near-falls on the way to Yazmin's hotel room, though luckily, I made it there in one piece. "Just a sec!" yelled Yazmin, opening up soon after I knocked. "Wow! Look at you. Very handsome!" she smiled, surprisingly not taking the piss for once. "Thanks, she ready?!" I asked, eager to get the ball rolling. "Just finishing up." She gestured for me to step inside and upon doing so, I noticed the huge bouquet of flowers resting in the centre of her table, similar to the ones in our room. "Do you mind?" I asked, plucking a single red rose from the bunch. "Would you listen if I told you no?" she smirked, setting the dials on her coffee machine to espresso. Funny that. Matt drinks expresso. "Not Likely-" The lengthy comeback I had planned faltered in the back of my throat the second Rosie came into view; all slender legged and boobs galore. Her red number wasn't too much, but rather just the right amount to keep a man interested. Delectable and creamy, her skin displayed her perfect cleavage, cut short by what looked to be sheer lace resting naturally against her collarbone. Her strawberry blonde hair was loosely pinned up, allowing only the odd curl to free fall down her face and frame her striking cheekbones. "Fuck me, you're a dream," I told her, completely in awe. To my right, Yazmin laughed. "Thanks, you look fantastic," she replied, blushing from head to toe. Would it be so wrong to skip dinner? "Shall we get out of here?" I asked, before my dick-for-a-brain could change the itinerary. "I've made reservations for seven but maybe we could take a walk beforehand?" "A walk sounds nice," she smiled, walking her lovely, long legs over to me. "Is that for me?" She gestured towards the flower in my hand, prompting me to lightly smile. I offered her the thing and momentarily watched as she brought it up to her nose to sniff, loving the slight crease her skin underwent. She was fucking adorable at best and never failed to amaze me with her beauty. "A rose for Rosie," I whispered, guiding her towards the door and discovering a blinding smile in my efforts. It didn't matter that it was a little strained. She was nervous and if anything, it made her all the more gorgeous. So much so, I couldn't help but offer her cheek a quick kiss on our way out. "You look beautiful," I told her, simply needing to say so out loud. "Am I blushing?" she smirked, gripping my biceps. "Because I feel as though I am." "Like a beetroot," I answered, going with honesty. She flashed me a coy smile and squeezed down for good measure, seemingly enjoying herself. "Shall we?" "We shall." We both said our goodbyes to Yazmin and made our way towards the hotel lobby, hand-in-hand. Outside, the evening sun was still high in the sky, though threatened its descent at any moment. Not that I minded. An orange glow would look perfect surrounding her beautiful, pale skin and I just knew once that moment came, I'd capture a mental image of it and imbed in into my memory forever. "Could we maybe visit the Trevi Fountain on our way?" she asked, hopeful in her enquiry. "I've always wanted to go." "Of course we can," I replied, squeezing down on her hand. "It would be a shame not to while we're here," I then expressed, lifting her hand to my lips and kissing her knuckles. "Did you have fun with the girls today?" "I did. We went shopping, drank amazing coffee and talked non-stop about you lot," she informed, amused by my worried expression. "Really?" "Really. Even Jax and Kyle got an honourable mention. Although, for obvious reasons, yourself, Johnny and Matt were the main choice in topic," she revealed, nudging my side in a playful manner. I smirked my response and encouraged her body closer to mine, pulling up Google Maps to help us out along the way. I had no idea where we were and didn't want our first date to consist of getting lost and starving to death. "How was yours? You were doing a photoshoot, right?" she questioned, happily taking in the surrounding sights. "Yeah and an interview. It was a lot of fun, actually," I smiled, unable to stop myself. "This feels fucking amazing, Rosie." "What does?" she enquired, a little confused. "Holding your hand in public." She suddenly looked in between our bodies and down towards our interlocked fingers, smirking thereafter. "Yeah it does, doesn't it?" she agreed, stopping short when the historic structure came into view. "Oh wow!" Its white stone and brilliant blue waters were truly captivating and nothing like what I had seen before. I wasn't hot on history and rarely held the urge to seek out such a thing but even I couldn't deny its beauty. Together, we both pushed our way to an opening in the crowd and dug around in our pockets until one of us discovered some coins. In the end, it was Rosie who located them first and upon doing so, positioned her body in front of mine, preparing herself. She silently closed her eyes and threw in her coin, expressing sure signs of seriousness. "What did you wish for, sweetheart?" I asked, dragging my lips along her neck. Shivers erupted across her arms and I smiled, knowing I was the one to have initiated such a reaction. "I wished that Jean's family would visit her next week. They've yet to do so and it really upsets her," she shared, honest to God capturing my heart. I couldn't get enough of this woman.
