I Insist
I Insist
The exhaustion was beginning to set in and it weighed heavily on Yaren. She was still in the professor's arms, it had been almost an hour and neither of them had attempted to move. Perhaps she'd even drifted in and out of sleep as she sat there feeling like everything else didn't matter.
Her eyes only fluttered open when he gently pulled his fingers from her hair, and loosened his hold on her, this told her that their cuddling time has come to an end, and just like that, the reality came crawling back in like his arms had been a barrier which had kept it out all this time.
He looked down at his wristwatch and his expression shifted to the usual professional one he normally carried.
"Yaren," he said. "It's getting late. You need to head back to the dorms soon."
She tensed as the shame, anxiety, and everything else returned slowly. The thought of stepping out of the warmth of his office and back into the exposed reality of the university campus was jarring. She wasn't sure she could walk around pretending nothing had changed at the moment.
He must have felt her body tense and sensed her hesitation because he rubbed her back slowly to soothe her.
"I can't drop you off today," he told her. "I made prior commitments that require me to stay here."
And she was even more disappointed.
He reached into his drawer and retrieved a phone, probably the one he used for his personal life. He tapped on it quickly before holding the device against his ear.
"Yes, Philip. I need you to make a pickup from the faculty parking lot immediately. You'll drop her off at the dormitory." He spoke, his voice remained low but his tone had never been more businesslike. "Ring me when you're outside."
He hung up and set the phone on the desk before turning back to her.
"My driver, Philip, will come pick you up shortly," he explained as he began fixing her clothes with steady fingers. "He will be in charge of taking you wherever you need to go."
Yaren blinked, trying to process the casual enormity of the statement. She thought he'd only called the driver to pick her up this once, what did he mean he'd be in charge of taking her wherever she neded to go? He was assigning her a driver just like that?
"I'm not comfortable with you walking all the time," he continued, his fingers didn't linger as he fixed her bra and began working on her buttons. "Especially when it's late or the weather isn't favourable. It's not safe."
Yaren didn't know how to respond just yet, she was stunned. That was huge to her. It wasn't just about the gesture, it was about the thought behind it, the professor was once again being thoughtful and taking care of things. His thoughtfulness was one of the reason she'd become infatuated with him in the first place.
He'd literally just assigned a driver to her just like that, and she didn't know how to take it.
"Professor," she began, her protest was weak, she knew it would do nothing but she could at least try. "There's really no need for that; I'm fine walking."
"I insist. I now have responsibilities towards her now that things had become this way." He replied. He was done fixing her buttons now. The quiet statement acknowledged the new, irreversible reality of their relationship, it ended her protest.
She simply nodded though her eyes stung with tears of gratitude.
"Thank you." She croaked quietly.
It was natural that she'd get emotional, she wasn't used to this, she wasn't used to someone caring for her like this; someone spoiling her like this, making her so comfortable.
He nudged her head up to face him before brushing her hair from her face. And he stared down at her like even he couldn't believe this was happening. He shook his head before guiding her head to lean against his shoulder once more.
"Philip will be here shortly." He told her. "You can ask him to stop if you want to get dinner on your way back."
And all she could do was nod.
"Eat and get some rest when you get back. I'll call you."
There was something about letting go and just letting someone else take care of you and tell you what to do, there was something about having a man like him tell her what to do, it made her want to comply immediately.

Back in her room, the full weight of the day hit her. Yaren could hardly contain everything at once, she was overwhelmed now. Her hands worked mechanically as she took off her clothes, leaving only her panties. The memories of the office came flooding back with an almost devastating clarity.
She'd just become sexual; it was a massive shift from the innocent girl she used to be. It was a lot to take in.
The professor's face swam before her eyes: the way he'd watched her with dark eyes, the cold, controlled intensity giving that gave way to the raw hunger in the moments before she came. She remembered how his mouth had felt on her skin, the way he'd kissed her hotly, possessively.
Her hands moved instinctively to her lower belly as she remembered how much it had clenched and heated up with pleasure. She recalled the feeling of being pressed onto the hardness of his bulge pressed, she recalled how the pleasure had made her toes curl. She recalled how his hands had cooled and massaged her breasts, how he'd asked if she'd showed them to anyone else before.
She was in an illicit relationship, one built on secrecy and violated rules, she was lagging behind in her studies, and her mother was still ill. Logically, she should be overwhelmed by dread and guilt.
But she wasn't.
Despite the chaos and the wrongness of it all, she was contented. A part of her felt really good; being desired by a man like the professor made her feel good, having him being so possessive towards her made her feel like she was something more than the bland nerd she'd been all her life. Having his attention like that, having him take care of her, how could she not feel contented?
She'd never felt more alive.
She walked to the bathroom with the intention of showering, but stopped herself at the edge of the shower stall. She didn't want to wash his scent and his touch off her skin; she wanted the lingering, musky scent of his cologne, and the faint metallic tang of their intimacy, to stay with her. It made everything more real.
With that thought in mind, she turned off the lights and crawled into bed. The exhaustion set in once more and she fell asleep almost immediately. She wasn't sure for how long she slept but her eyes only snapped open when her phone began buzzing beside her. She reached out and picked it up, it was an unsaved contact but somehow, she already knew who it was, she answered and raised the phone to her ear. The professor's voice sounded from the other side.
"Hello Yaren."
"Hello professor." She replied though her voice barely sounded, she was still half asleep.
"Are you in bed already?" He asked her. And she nodded though he couldn't see her.
"Yes sir." She replied.
"Good. Go back to sleep. I'll see you tomorrow." He said. And she nodded once more. "Goodnight."
"Goodnight, professor."
