Chapter 75 Contradictory Person
Delilah's POV:
Forth looked at me warily and stood up, covering his face.
"You're Sofia's cousin? She posted photos of you two on Instagram before." Forth limped backward, keeping his distance from me.
I was very dissatisfied.
He pestered Genesis like a lapdog, but when he saw me he was so guarded? Was I not better looking than that mute girl?
But I forced down my anger and deliberately put on a sad expression.
"Yes, I'm Sofia's cousin. And I'm also Eli's... fiancée." I deliberately lowered my head to hide the fury in my eyes.
If it weren't for that bitch Genesis, how could Eli have broken off our engagement?
I was clearly the one who loved him most!

"You know the Martinez family's power. We have to do it quietly. As long as you can get Genesis to come out, I can use my private jet to send you both away."
My voice carried a hint of temptation.
"That way you can escape from Eli. Genesis will definitely thank you."
Forth took the bait as expected and immediately agreed to get Genesis to come out.

This stupid fool really thought I would be so kind?

Genesis's POV:
After I forcibly pulled him from the stairwell, Eli's expression was terrifyingly dark.
He pushed my hand off his arm, extremely displeased.
"What's so good about that brat? Why do you protect him like this?" Eli questioned me with dissatisfaction.
I shook my head: \[I really have nothing with him. I just don't want any more entanglements.\]
Looking at Eli's displeased expression, I remembered what he had said when he rushed down earlier.
Had he really been the one to save me that day?
Thinking carefully now, Forth couldn't even get past Lennon's bodyguards at the hotel. How could he have broken into the heavily guarded Nelson family villa to save me?
"Should we give that little bastard a lesson?" Walker suggested.
I looked at him in disbelief. Why was he stirring up trouble at a time like this?
Eli indeed showed some interest. I immediately grabbed his hand and shook my head.
Eli's expression became even uglier.
He grabbed my wrist. I winced in pain, and he reluctantly loosened his grip.
"Do you still have feelings for Forth?"

I quickly turned to look at Walker. Fortunately, he had already left to make a phone call.
Eli realized what he'd said too. He punched the wall. "Did you think that brat saved you before?! I can't believe he dared to steal my credit! When I saw you were seriously injured that day, my heart almost stopped! No wonder you made cupcakes but didn't give them to me!"
Looking at the huffing Eli, I silently lowered my eyes.
I hadn't expected that Eli was the one who saved me that day.
And I had just sent out that very damaging video about him!
Dense guilt immediately crawled over my heart. I had actually treated Eli like this when he had saved me.

I silently apologized to Eli in my heart, but he didn't notice my emotions at all and grabbed his gun, planning to settle accounts with Forth.

"I heard that when that beast Lennon was torturing you, you made sounds, right? I spent a long time searching online and contacted a very authoritative doctor. Maybe he can help you."
