'He's still mad at us, Kaylan.' Her wolf whimpered sadly and she stared down avoiding his gaze and not saying a word. Cypher stared at her and wondered how to say his words without making her feel bad but he crushed the feeling and ranted, after all, she never cared about how he was going to feel by giving out her gift.

"Don't flaunt my orders Kaylan, I don't want to see you out till the damned coronation? Why the fuck did you go out with Grayson?" His tone was precise and harsh and it made her heart twisted in a sharp pain.

"I don't want to stay indoors just because I gave out a sacred necklace. I'm not going to hide under the shell of a supernatural power?" She grits her teeth as she spews out every word with spite.

"That's not your decision to make Kaylan, you messed things up and you need to abide by the rules. Get the fuck inside, if you're bored I'll send Heaven over." He told her and he saw a smirk that looked attractive to him but he cursed Inwardly.

"I won't, if I'm bored I'll need Grayson. I'm sorry I gave out the necklace to a helpless boy but why are you so bitter about a gift I gave out? What if it never existed?"

"Can you try.." he blew out a breath and paved his mid-finger on his head, trying to fight back a yell and he gritted hisnteeyh instead. "Try to quit the selfish act. Stop reminding me of how vulnerable I am, how dangerous I am to you being a Lycan demon! Fucking stop it, Kaylan!" He yelled,he couldn't help it, his emotions were suddenly bursting out like flames.

"I can't stay with you Kaylan and there's nothing that can change that, I will hurt you…" he swallowed and rolled his tongue in his mouth before he continued.
"...just like the incident that took place at the war and I don't want that. I'm so selfish to let you go, to be safe away from me but I don't care. Just when we could be free, I could be free to hold you as mine, you decide to play the roles of Slessor and Mother Teresa for a child who will still destroy anything in flames!"

"Cypher something can change, I'm sorry but we can work something out. I think there should be another way to control your powers or another situation to make us be together. I miss you already, please." She trembled with her words and hot tears rolled down her cheeks, shifting close to touch Cypher who stiffened from her touch and peeled her hands off.

"There's no other way, the only way is to be an obedient girl and be safe for me. Just be safe, stay indoors, cook, and do anything you want baby but don't go outside. No one loves you and this pack is a mess, I have demons around another war might take place."

"Cypher please….let me learn how to fight at least, to protect myself just the way I didn't during the war. I don't need to be intimate with you before I can feel you around me. Please.." She sniffed and begged desperately and it was the most tempting offer for Cypher who almost gave in. She could fight and get hurt, go outside and get kidnapped, or worse still, stay with him and get seduced and lose his self-control around her.

Even talking to her right now, hearing her pleas, and looking at her soft delicate skin was making him hard as fuck. His body has never heated for a woman before but for Kaylan, he was weak. He shredded mess with lust and live mixing in one and breaking his standards and principles.

All he needed was her scent, her hair, her smiles, and her safety for as long as it took but it wasn't going to work that way as it hurt like hell. While she stays indoors, he needs to find a solution to his mess of finding a way to take away the silly demonic power out of his body and that's the only way he can be with his girl.

"I'm sorry Kaylan, that's not going to happen. If you try to against my orders again, I'll have no choice but to use force on you."

Kaylan's painful gasp was enough to bring her back into his sanity and tell her didn't mean it. Fuck, he needed to cuddle this woman and kiss her fears away, He didn't like seeing her sad but he'd rather make her safe than listen to her heart desires.

"So you still want to make me a prisoner? Don't I mean anything to you, can't I bend your will even as your mate?" She growled at him but he avoided her gaze.

"I'll see you in the evening Kaylan, just stay indoors and we'll be fine. I'll try to hasten our coronation so don't worry. You're still mine." He told her huskily wiping the tears from her eyes and left. Just when she thought she could sit down and lament her fate and mistakes, the guards surrounded her like swarms of bees and she bit her lips painfully. The only thing that kept her calm and curious was Alec who was leading the men.

"Let's go Luna." He told her calmly and she wiped her face angrily before walking past them to the mansion that led to her room.

She sat on her bed and bawled in tears, but her heart didn't condemn or blame her for giving out the only thing that would have made her stay with her mate peacefully.

Not even her wolf, She didn't blame him for taking such measures but it hurt so bad and she pondered on what to do. How to be powerful enough, how to make sure he doesn't get too paranoid when it comes to her and she remembered the red-haired witch.

'Could she help?' she asked rhetorically and sighed

'She totally disappeared after the other night, Argh! I need to talk to her, I think she can do something. Where the hell is Zane?'

She murmured and lay on the bed, staring at the ceiling in worry till she drifted into sleep
