Zane bit his lips as the pretty lady fell to the fall effortlessly and he smiled, really impressed at their natural powers to turn things into their favor before turning to stare at Maliya who made his heart nearly jump out.

Her eyes were red, hot flamy red and her orbs twinkle with another layer of Crimson that made him swallow but he shifteda backwards. This reaction wasn't the type to marvel at because he could feel her anger, her necklace glowed and he couldn't help but admire how beautifully it fit her on the neck.

"I need your help Maliya " He told her with a calm voice but her countenance didn't change a bit, Infact, it worsened.
He almost yelped in shock when she dragged him with a force that knocked his breath out and dragged him to a place that was secluded and more beautiful than where he was standing.

She turned her back to him and tried to steady her breaths or she might yell so loudly at him.

" Maliya.." he held her arm and she snapped, turning fiercely to look at him with her red sharp eyes.

"What do you think you're doing Zane?" Her voice scared him and sudden remorse took over him as he wondered what would have happened if she didn't show up.

"I needed your–"
"It would have waited! No amount of help should make you act so stupid by barging into White falls. What if Zara discovers who you are, do you even know that you're not masked as a witch and your identity is exposed?" She spat out angrily and ruffled her silly red hair in frustration.

"Would it be that bad?" He asked her and she stared at him with disbelief.

"Really? Have you ever entered an ice cave? You will freeze to death! They won't spare a single moment of your life Zane. When I tell you being here is dangerous as much as being with your people is dangerous, you need to understand that."

Zane swallowed bitterly and nodded, he hated the fact that what she just spewed and wished it wasn't true.

"What's the problem? Why are you here?"

"Your eyes are back to normal, more beautiful than before" He told her truthfully and her cheeks burned instantly.

'is this man kidding me right now? I need to leave her and not blush about my eyes' She huffed in frustration.

"You need to be serious and leave immediately Zane. Tell me when you want and I'll find a way. You can only leave tomorrow morning and can't leave this night again either. The border is closed and you only managed to forcefully enter it because of the connection it had with me. The next time you try it again, it will awaken the Queen and it will end up ugly."

Zane listened to her words like an obedient child and nodded, his hands combing his hair as he relayed his frustration out, stuffing his hands Into his pocket.

"I need to get My Alpha's brother or I won't be the Beta anymore." Her blue eyes blinked in shock and worry as she came closer to him.

"Really? Why? I thought you left here to help it during the war? Why is he acting so heartless?"

"He didn't get to see me, so automatically I didn't help him. His brother is on the run and might come back to finish what he started. I have only one day to look for him or I'll be good as being a pack member and I don't want that. That dude needs a lot of guidance and tolerance and I'm the only one to handle him. I just want to know where he is and I'll get him in one piece".

She shook her head in disagreement and bit her lips. "So that you will get yourself killed right?"

"It would be different from before Liya, but I'm lost because I don't know where he is and you're the only one to tell where."

He explained and she thought hard, bit her lips and hit her laps suddenly.

"I'll help you on one condition." She says and Zane nodded for her to go ahead, tucking the strands of her red hair as he speaks and her skin shivers at his touch.

"If only you promise to stay at a place till tomorrow, I'll make sure to grant your request."
Zane twitched his lips and smiled at her, an act that made her heart thumped faster than before. He was just making her not to feel comfortable, his aura, smiles, scent and cocky stare was too much for her to endure.

"I'll do anything you want Maliya, just say the word '' He stared at her deep in the eyes and his words became sensual. She fanned herself with her hands and turned away from him, she was done looking at him while talking. She might have a heart attack from too much wild beat.

"You will stay with Didi." She blurted and the atmosphere immediately turned soar.

"Maliya??" His tone fell with disappointment and she bit back a chuckle.

"Yes Zane, you need to stay with her quietly till dawn and I'll get you to do whatever you want. If not, you're going to get him in trouble and I'll have no choice but to deny you when the crisis breaks."

She explained and he groaned and tug his hair, totally regretting coming over.

"I can't believe you want me to stay with an animal!" He growled and she shook her head.

"Didi is sweet, you won't regret it, just be friendly."

"I don't want to stay with Didi, I could snuck Into your room and–"

"No!" She chuckled in disbelief and shook her head.

"My Father would turn you to a rat if he ever sees you near me, so stop sulking and be a good boy to get your request fulfilled." She told him and his eyes darkened at her words, feeling his body heated up.

"Will you also be a good girl for me if fulfil your request?"

She nodded innocently and smiled, "I'm a good girl Zane but I became bad overnight by lying to my parents. But for you, I'll be good."

He smirked and nodded watching their hands entwined before she dragged him out to where Didi was staying.

"You better keep your promise, Maliya" he whispered in her ears and she chuckled, totally forgetting about the incident that made her world almost crumble.
