Chapter 124

Cypher was dumbfounded but he didn't bother to ask more aside from carrying out the order. He already looked troubled as it is, going against his brother was something unexpected.

Damn! He could feel the real love oozing out from them while they spoke so he must understand the difficult situation is in.

His heart broke when he learned that Heaven already left Crescent Star Pack leaving Sebastian to figure out the mess. He left Moon Pack and went to Shadow Saint Pack with Sebastian's men, taking some items and explosives to cause a fire.

Deep down, he wished Ethan would be there. He wished he didn't have anything to do with Sebastian's son's disappearance so that he won't have to do the shitty thing he was about to do.

His heart tugged at his chest, making him question how on earth he was going to burn down a pack, whose king had gone through a hose to try to save his Luna.

The more he wished, the more the possibilities were close to nothing till he arrived at the pack whose aesthetic art was blinding.

Cypher balled his fists in anger and wished to against Sebastian's order. The pack was fucking peaceful both species of beauty roaming around freely and giggling at everything that excites them.

He stood there with Sebastian's men for the next thirty minutes hoping to see Ethan pop up to warn him to back off but the King wasn't in sight.

Why the fuck will he take the boy to the human world, knowing how dangerous that can be? He couldn't barely meet up with staying with his fellow people with supernatural powers like him but going over to stay weak creatures??

Fuck!

He cursed and used his left hand to ruffle his hair, the men around him were impatient. They were eager to hear a command from him and Cypher wondered how Sebastian had trained this men to be so ruthless that they couldn't have a single empathy.

"It's past forty minutes now Alpha!" The guard beside him said, his tone laced with raw impatience, he swallowed and looked at the building that looked like a fancy castle before he finally spoke.

"Get inside and give a warning to everyone to get out."

Cypher said, clearly defiling Sebastian's orders. He wanted him to just go there and start an unaware kind of fire but his heart couldn't take it. "Just give them five minutes, then blow the entire place "

Hopefully, Ethan feels it and comes back with Venom to save his people.

He thought and they did exactly as he said.

Kaylan walked for hours with Cypher's men, looking for Venom or anything that could trace him until she came to the mall that was burnt with fire. She could see the fire service specialist trying their best to quench the fire while the Medical team was taking out the injured ones.

It was an emotional sight to see as men and women cried for their children, and brothers and sisters cried for their mothers.

She didn't know if anyone died but she didn't want to think about it.

Leo won't kill.

That's what she wanted to believe and that's what she hoped.

Kaylan felt a cold hand dragged her back and she jerked back to reality.

"I'm sorry Miss but you won't go there." The guard's voice was cold with warning and she swallowed.

"He could still be there, can… can't I just have a look."

"Our men will check it out please, I'm not going to risk a single thing happening to you no matter what."

He said defiantly and sent the men around him to check the building with the help of Kaylan's description.

No matter how she tried and begged, they wouldn't let her out of her sight as she was now a delicate property to their Alpha.

"He's not there." One of them reported and bowed. "We've checked everywhere to dust, even the burned part of the building." They continued and she bit her lips and nodded.

"He's not here." She whispered and continued walking forward which left the guards stunned. One would think that she had given up and wished to go back home but it wasn't the case for Kaylan. She walked tirelessly and bluntly refused to use a car, lest they drove past him.

Crossing the borders of Crescent Star Pack, they went to the borders of Moon Pack which scared the wits out of the men. This place was sacred both to the Wolves and their Lycans.

"I ..t.. think it is dangerous to be heading towards here Ma'am!" One of them declared Angrily.

"I'm not going to Moon Pack, I'm going to another section of the pack that would take us out of the borders. If Leo was trying to leave the house, he would take the route that would take him out of his father's pack."

She said stubbornly and kept walking which made the men swallow back their words. Who were they to go against her words at the moment? They needed to please her or her stubbornness might make her flee and put them Into trouble.

After walking for a few more minutes, passing thick bushes and forests, they heard a hushed voice and they all screeched to a halt.

Kaylan walked slowly and behind the trees to have a peak, the men did the same too while the other with the skull climbed the large trees with branches swiftly and struggled to gasp as he stared at the two people down.

Kaylan looked at him I'm a questioning look and raised her brow.

"You need to get him now Ma'am!" He whispered harshly.

"Now!!"

She didn't wait for anyone to tell her what to do when she rushed to the midst of where the voice was coming from and she let out a loud gasp.

"Leo??"

Her voice was

shaky and she rushed to hug the little boy who was having a chat with his uncle.
