123. Allergic to the sun
Chapter 109

Zane understood her fear and took her hands in his without saying a word. He passed through the other rooms on the terrace and walked through passages until it led to the last entrance that was blocked by a door.

She watched him retrieve what seemed like keys from his pockets and open the door that gave its way. It was dark and quiet but she wasn't scared. It was obvious Zane was trying to take another way other than the main entrance of the Pack's gate.

After walking through the dark for a few minutes with her hands tightly wrapped in his arms, they finally reached another door that led them directly outside the mansion, for a moment she was so confused that she looked around.

"You don't need to pass the Woods to get home. Here would lead you directly to White Falls, take a cab or something to get you there faster." He told her to ease her nervousness and she smiled at him, nodding at his words.

"Thank you. I need to go." She told him and turned her back to leave but turned back to face him again which had his head cocked to the side while watching her shy expression which was so beautiful!

He was so lost staring at her that he didn't expect her next move to knock his breath away.

Maliya couldn't help but kiss him on the cheeks, she wanted to do more as she didn't know what the future holds for them.

They would never be together and he would always belong to her friend which made her more jealous than ever. She kissed his forehead and finally landed a kiss directly on her lips before turning back to spring into a run, leaving Zane in how world of surprise and confusion.

Cypher arrived at Moon Pack and went straight to meet Sebastian who was surprisingly looking composed and calm. The pack wasn't in a frenzy had he had expected it to me and Heaven was nowhere to be found at the moment.

The beautiful King had his mid finger to his forehead and the expression on his face was grim when he saw Cypher.

"You're here."

"Yeah, I received your letter. Is there anything wrong?"

Cypher couldn't sit, he was too nervous to think or feel relaxed and all he needed was answers right after he saw that written piece.

He believed everything Kaylan told him but he just wanted to hear it from the horse's mouth itself.

"Nothing serious, where's your mate?"

"She's home. I couldn't let her come with me. She was attacked." Cypher told Sebastian who twitched his lips and nodded at his words menacingly.

"My son is missing Cypher." He dropped the bombshell but Cypher didn't act so surprised. He just couldn't get the gasp that escaped his lips at how the words flowed so well from his lips.

"You had a son?"

"You don't seem surprised." Sebastian chuckled at him.

"That's not the point! I didn't believe a dime about what I heard but hearing this from btou is so fucking unbelievable! Venom? Is that his name? Why would you hide h–"

"I had to do it Cypher, maybe later in the future…you will understand why I probably did that later on but right now, I need you to visit Ethan for me, burn down his pack, and leave immediately."

Sebastian ordered him as if he sent him errands of a piece of cake, his body didn't move from the position he and his tone was a serious one.

"What did you just say?" Cypher choked on his words.

"I underestimated you but you surprised me by attacking the Dalim packs the same day they waged a war against you. Gareth came here but I sent him back after telling him the truth about you saving him from the same pack he orchestrated your death from. He was in pain and it seemed your mate must have used the powers from her necklace to attack him"

Cypher was too stunned to say a word, this was too wild of an adventure to grasp and he was not ready for it.

All he needed was his mate. he wanted to go back to her and kiss her silly forever cause he knew he could never get tired but hearing this from Sebastian was another whole level.

"Why do you want me to attack your brother's Pack?" He asked his sternly.

He would do anything for Sebastian but not go against his family, they were too cool to develop a sudden beef against one another.

"And how does this affect your missing son?"

"That's the issue Cypher! Ethan is with my son and they are going to cross the borders of this supernatural world. He's taking my son to the Human City!

Do you know what that means?" Sebastian growled in anger, his eyes flashing dangerously.

"He might expose our existence or make that little boy burn every damn thing in Ashes in that place."

"And you think wiping his mansion off with fire is the solution?" Cypher asked in disbelief. Isn't he supposed to go after them?

He would have preferred that and stopped Ethan from whatever scheme was up to and got the little boy so Kaylan won't be crazy.

"Yes! His life depends on the Clan. Lit the place up Cypher. Ethan will do all it takes to save his people and come back immediately!"

Cypher swallowed hard and thought hard, the Vampires were allergic to the sun and anything heat so setting the Clan ablaze would mean that people might die. Is he doing this to drag Ethan back, why was Ethan doing all of this at the dire minute?

"I'm doing this because it's you Alpha even if I don't understand why all of this is happening and why you hid your son from me all these years, but I hope this brings a positive result to what I'm about to do."

He told Sebastian who nodded at his words and balled his fists in anger.

"Cypher?" He called him and released a shaky sigh.

"Let Heaven stay at Star Crescent Pack."

"What the fuck Alpha! She's a Queen and doesn't deserve to be there"

Well, she would rather be there than anywhere near me until her son is found."
