Cypher frowned deeply and the air thickened with tension.

"He did what?" He choked with his words and his hands dropped down, fisting on their own but she caressed them instead and looked at him.

"He didn't succeed, so I took him down. I need you Cypher, I don't know why I'm suddenly feeling like this but I just want you to kiss me." Kaylan looked at Cypher in confusion and frowned deeply, wondering why he said that.

"Listen to me Kaylan, you won't tell Heaven about her son. Leave that to me and I'll send my men over to get him, wherever he is. She might misunderstand your statement and even feel jealous that her son is closer to you than his parents and that's if only he truly belongs to Sebastian!"

Cypher tried to explain to her even though he knew it was hard. She couldn't be careless or maybe he's selfish not to risk her or sabotage his relationship with Sebastian and his wife.

"I don't know what to say…he…I called him and he said he wouldn't go back home. I'm worried, he said he doesn't want to go to a forsaken place and he burnt down a place!" Her words quaked and cracked with emotions flowing through them.

"He's just a little boy Cypher and.. he's gone through a lot."

"We'll look for him, I'll try my best and find him no matter how powerful he seems to be but I can't go around telling Sebastian about a boy I know nothing of yet. He rocked her back and disentangled from the hug, tucking the strands of her to the side.

"Let me go alone, he's the moon King and he will find his son and for your sake, I'll make sure we see Leo." His eyes dilated in worry as he cupped her face, hoping she understood the situation and agreed to his condition.

"Okay." She nodded and his shoulders sagged in relief. "I'll rely on your words if only you send your men with me to check on him.
I know where he might have been and I know how he smells Cypher. I can't be comfortable when he's out there, let me do–"

"Fine! They are yours." He cuts her off and she comes down from the car. A feeling of embarrassment washed through her at the sight of the men who seemed to have been standing for too long just because of her and the little session they displayed.

"Thank you. Please go quickly and come back to me. I need you."
