Chapter 119

They had no business with the witches in any way, not because they were enemies but because they could never align together because of the different species and lineage they came from which was totally different from the Wolves and Lycans.

"Yes Alpha, the elder was about to take her for questioning but Beta Zane stopped her and the…your future Luna also stopped them.."

She explained and he pinched his brows, twitching his lips without giving a fuck about whoever she was that moment.

"Then get to work and make sure she's fine! If she belongs to Kaylan, then that's fine with me." He ordered and she did immediately as she was told, attending to both ladies with utmost care and expertise.

Later in the day, A knock sounded on the door to Cypher's office and he looked up, hating the fact he was getting distracted when he almost arrived at a solution. He had drafted out a plan to take his brother unawares and made sure to confront him till he breaks to submission or he kills or sends him out.

He won't continue to live such an interrupted life all because of his brother. 

Max had brought the other captives and thrown them in the dungeon, telling him about the state of his family and he was glad at the news but confused as to why Ashton would turn his back suddenly against Gareth.

He knows Ashton is a hard nut to crack and never succumbs to anyone's will which has to do with going against Gareth.

Closing the map and large file before him, he rested his frame on the chair which sank from the effect of his weight.

"Come In." He ordered and the door was pushed open to reveal the face of Grayson looking worried and his whole body heated up in panic.

"Tell me, is she okay?" He asked Grayson who almost rolled his eyes for a moment. Everything isn't all about his Luna!

"It's the Moon Pack guards." Cypher stood up abruptly in alert and left the office without asking him another question.

"What did they say is the issue, is it something serious?" 

"I can't tell Alpha but I think you need to go." Cypher cursed and went outside to see the men, all stiff and serious waiting for him and they all bowed at his sight.

"Is Alpha Sebastian alright?" He asked and one of them stepped forward to reply.

"He's fine but seeks your presence immediately. He said he needs to talk to you in private and to give you this." 

A gold little envelope with a bright green leaf at the tip was stretched to Cypher who collected it and tore the pretty leaves away to open the contents inside.

His hands fisted the paper as he read what was written.

' I need your help.'

Sebastian would never ask a soul for a pin-drop help, not even when the sky was about to fall, not even when the most brutal war happened with the moon goddess for trying to forcefully take his Luna.

"What's wrong?" He found himself whispering out in fear.

He was scared that he was in a dilemma and what if he couldn't help him? What if he failed and hurt any of them instead?

"I'll come over immediately." He turned to Grayson. "Tell Zane to make sure those demons are treated so nicely and the pack should be in order too. I don't know when I'm coming back so don't wait." He turned to leave when Grayson hesitated.

"Kaylan?? She was asking for you when she woke up, won't you at least see her?" 

Bile rose at his throat and he swallowed it back, ruffling his hair and unbuttoning his first button uncomfortably.

"Don't let her ask for me or look for me before I hurt her again. Just make sure she's safe." He told him and nodded at the guards who were on standby waiting for him and they all went outside only for him to freeze at the sight of the figure standing before the car.

Her scent awakened his messed-up feelings and guilt and he shut his eyes, becoming cold instantly.

"Go Inside Kaylan, you need to recover."

"I'm going with you all, I know why Alpha Sebastian sent for you and I'm not leaving without following you." She said with a very stubborn tone, her hair was packed up with some tendrils falling by the sides of her face and her eyes were dull, tired, and sleepy but it was the opposite for the rest of her body..

It was agile and stubborn.

"He requested for me, I'll be back when I'm done. I don't think that it's something serious."

"Then I'm coming over, I won't stay back."

Cypher grits his teeth, he can't stare at her face while talking and he hates it that she won't even rest. She was fucking injured.

"Go Inside Kaylan! It's an order!!" He growled and she shook her head.

"You should understand that order won't work on your mate, I won't be affected by your powers Cypher. I need to come, I was looking for…" her voice broke in pain as she remembered Venom.

"I need to come please!"

"No!!" He roared. "You've had enough already, I won't risk you coming out or staying near me for a while."

She wiped the tears in her face and smiled, twitching her lips in pain.

"You can act selfishly but this is not about you, I don't care if you stay away from me or not but I will lose it and run man if I don't know where Leo is!" She yelled and Cypher's eyes widened at her statement.

Is it about the little boy?

"Use this car with your guards, I'll use the other one with those guards. Their looks remind me of Leo at least, so don't worry."

She told him and a jealousy hotter than a flame burned through him that he surprised himself next
