The same man

Haven already accepted their fate and was expecting to be massacred by the spirit goblin as she closed her eyes tightly but for the next five seconds, nothing of such happened. She slowly opened her eyes and found them doing well but something was strange, they weren't in the statue anymore.

"How did this happen again? How is this fucking possible?" Darelia yelled in her head frustratingly, they were suddenly back into their room. How does it happen over and over again that she ends up in her room everytime she is in danger in the statue?

Fair and Athena were surprised to see Haven and Darelia back into the room without making any sound that it seemed like they didn't even pass through the door. "Where are you guys coming from?" Athena asked, looking at the both of them weirdly like they were behaving strange.

"Darelia was coming from her new teacher's class and I collided with her on the way." Darelia's eyes widened at how clean Haven could tell a lie without stuttering or being noticed. "It's past dinner time, you should eat your food quickly before room teachers comes for inspection." Athena said and they nodded.

Well, Darelia thought Fair was becoming more silent though she has always been grumpy towards her. "Why are you suddenly silent? Are you still thinking the dead girl you found at our door?" Darelia drew, showing it directly to Fair.

"I can't help but be afraid. Two girls are being killed in two days, don't you think it is strange?" Fair replied. "I thought it was only Athena who understands her drawing?" Athena pointed out and Fair froze on her bed, searching for what to say in her head.

She took the book from Darelia, "She drew a girl and painted some traces of blood at the front of a door. I just picked two plus two which will give four, simple!" Fair breath out in relief when she found the most perfect answer for her, it sounded convincing having seeing what exactly Darelia actually drew.

Haven was lost in thoughts, she clearly saw the spirit goblin almost eating them up but how the hell did they get into their room? She was starting to believe Darelia and was gradually becoming really curious about the statue. Darelia on the other hand was curious too, how the hell did she not find the second dead body in the wardrobe just like the first time?

"Senior Darelia, Miss Andrea asked me to call you." A junior student came to knock and the roommates looked at one another, a teacher calling a student by 9pm in the night when it was past bed time? Darelia stood up to go but Haven stopped her, "That person isn't real." She muttered.

Athena and Fair glanced at one another, "What do you mean?" They asked simultaneously, believing it because it sounded creepy that a teacher was asking to see a student so late at night. "Listen to it slowly -- the voice is echo like." Haven said.

They listened carefully while the junior continued knocking saying the exact same words and their eyes widened, it indeed sounded like an echo and one thing was taught to the witches - an echo like voice isn't real, especially if it is calling out to you.

Darelia wasn't listening to them as she walked slowly to the door like she is being manipulated to, their eyes widened when her hands were almost reaching the knob of the door. "Darelia, it isn't real!" Haven yelled, pushing her out of the way as her head hit the door knob in the process and she fell unconscious immediately.

Darelia felt like something got drawn away from her body as she recovered herself, her eyes widened at Haven who was on floor unconscious, wondering what exactly happened after remembering the scenario of Haven warning her about the voice not real. "This is all your fault! Why didn't you listen to her?!" Fair yelled as they tried to wake Haven up but she wasn't waking up. Why did she suddenly go unconscious? And why is that voice not real?

Darelia's cat suddenly jumped down from her bed, walking towards Haven. It nudged Haven's face slowly, turning her head to the other side and that was when Darelia saw a familiar mark which looked like the head of a cat. "Is she trying to wake Haven up?" Athena whispered shockingly.

The cat brought his lips closer to Haven's mouth and Haven's nails grew into claws immediately as she gasped back to life with the cat scurrying away. "Are you okay?" Fair asked as they helped her to sit up. Darelia was still disturbed about the mark she just saw which happens to be at the same side of her neck and worse still, it was the same mark in the middle of the room in the statue - it is so confusing.

"Miss Andrea calls for senior Darelia!" A knock on the door which made everyone of them stagger back in fear, was it the same thing that wants to repeat itself again? How come it is the same voice? "This one -- is real." Haven said and they nodded, walking out of the room. "You saved my life, Dare." Haven whispered, carrying Darelia's cat as the cat relaxed in the warm hands of the big black cat.

Frederick caught up with Darelia and her friends as they walked to class, "Hey new girl!" He called and the others rolled their eyes while Darelia never answered him. "Are you sure Frederick isn't slipping away from your grasp?" Lisa's friend asked as Lisa glared at the way her boyfriend was trying his best to talk to her step sister.

"Don't you see she doesn't want to talk to you? Back off!" Fair yelled angrily, she was the type to get pissed off at any little thing. Darelia suddenly brought out her note, "Did you see or feel anything weird after that day we met?" She drew while Haven read aloud leaving Frederick to wonder why Haven read the particular drawing.

Frederick looked at her weirdly, concerned about the fact that he hasn't heard her voice for a week that she has been in the school. "Try to remember!" Haven hissed like a cat that she was and Frederick looked at them one by one before his eyes rested on Darelia and strangely, some flashes occured in his head.

"I think I saw a statue -- somewhere around here yesterday when I was on my way to my girlfriend's hostel. I heard some noises in it like some people running and shouting for help, I wanted to help them but -- I don't know what happened after." He explained, looking at everyone of them suspiciously.

Darelia drew, "Where exactly did you see the statue?" Haven interpreted and Frederick looked around, pointing to where Darelia was standing. "It was right here where you are standing." He pointed and the others looked at where Darelia was, how can she stand on a statue without knowing? That's because the place was empty, there was no statue anywhere.

Athena wasn't understanding anything they were saying, statue? What statue exactly? No statue was present where they were and she felt she was the only one who was lagging behind at whatever they were seeing. "Do you understand what they are saying? Have you seen the statue before?" She asked Fair who jumped up in fright at the sudden question as she quickly shook her head negatively.

Haven sighed, she was beginning to fell greatly disturbed too. The noises and runnings Frederick heard was she and Darelia's yesterday night which means they weren't the only one seeing the statue but the only unclear thing was the statue is making them look like dumb people because ---

"It disappears anytime it finds out that some extra people are finding out about it's existence!" Darelia drew, completing Haven's thoughts. Haven wasn't surprised because Darelia just completed her thoughts like she heard her saying it. She isn't surprised anymore as to whatever Darelia does now because she could see she is a special being even as she is dumb and she thinks that dumbness is associated with her finding secrets.

Haven had never thought this school would have so many secrets that are yet to be unveiled and ever since Darelia got admitted, each secret has been slipped open by her one by one but she sincerely hoped the secrets wouldn't swallow them up.She suddenly winced, "Behind you, Darelia!" The whispers again and this time, Darelia tried not to hold the sides of her head because the moment she does, someone else will die - that was one thing she was very sure of, excluding the statue saga.

"Darelia, are you okay?" Athena had to ask because Darelia would constantly look backwards like she was looking for something but actually she was hearing voices which will always command her to look behind her. Shocking the hell out of everyone, Haven gripped her head tightly as she winced in pain but it shocked Darelia more because it's the same thing that just happened to her.
