40 - second declaration

A few days had elapsed since Paul had conveyed all of those statements to Ellen. He was looking something serious, Paul wanted Ellen to himself. This was a serious matter for the woman. She was approaching a new stage in her life.

She was going to pursue a career in criminal investigation, she had put in so much effort, and her goal was already in motion, making a romantic connection impossible.

Ellen would have to commit to the relationship, but at the moment, she wanted to dedicate herself to her profession. Ellen had such intense feelings for Paul, but at the moment, she wanted to fulfill the dream she had always wanted.

“Damn it, Paul, why did you have to say that?” Ellen felt confused, but she knew what she wanted to do at that moment.

The woman had already prepared for an interview, and she was confident that she would be hired.

Before going to the interview, she texted her friend Sarah.

' I'm going to the interview, can we see you later? You'll be busy at work?' Sarah was very busy at her job at the hospital, working a lot of shifts and overtime. And the two hadn't spoken properly for a few days.

Ellen just wanted to know if her friend was all right.

The woman left her apartment and headed for the interview with intense confidence.

When she arrived at the interview, Ellen was directed into the room and a man in formal clothes began the interview.

The interview lasted about twenty minutes. When she finishes, she says goodbye and leaves the company. Ellen feels that she will be hired, as she feels very confident.

“It's going to work out, I can feel it.” Ellen smiled and headed out of the building.

As she walked to eat a meal, Ellen sent a message to her friend: 'Hi, Sarah, is everything OK? I'm leaving the interview now, I'm confident. '

Ellen sent the message and went into a nearby restaurant.

She ordered a snack and sat down.

She put her bag on the chair next to her and took a deep breath.

After Ellen had eaten her snack and a natural juice, she decided to go home. It was light and sunny in Istanbul that day. Ellen was wearing casual clothes, no longer the tattered old clothes she used to wear. Today she wore a black top, a coat of the same color, and high-waisted pants. Only a little of her belly was showing. She took a cab and got off in front of the building. Ellen paid the driver and entered the building.

As she walked, her cell phone began to ring. Ellen picked it up and answered without seeing who was calling.

“Hi, who is it?'' Ellen asked, slowing her steps. ''It's me, friend, I'm sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I was really busy, but how were you at the interview?''

Her friend's voice sounded exhausted, Ellen could tell and knew that her friend must have been very tired.

''I'm in good spirits about the interview, I think it's going to go well, and you, friend, don't look so good, promise me when you get off work, you'll get a good rest, okay?'' Ellen was worried about her friend.

''It's okay, friend, I'll do it, don't worry, I'll talk to you later, okay? See you, kiss you.'' Ellen said goodbye to her friend and continued to enter the block.

When she reached the corridor of the block, Ellen saw someone at her door, she couldn't believe who it was… Phill was there, standing at her door, Ellen looked at him without understanding but continued walking towards Phill.

Phill turned and saw Ellen standing next to him. Ellen smiled awkwardly at the sight of him and greeted him. ''How are you, Phill? Long time no see.'' Phill approached her and made Ellen feel awkward. He kissed her cheek sweetly. Ellen looked at him without understanding why. But she smiled, trying to be gentle. ''I'm fine, we haven't seen each other for a while, well. I just came to tell you something, even though we haven't seen each other in a few days, I thought I'd tell you something, it's important,'' Ellen told him to speak. She looked at him carefully, and Phill sighed deeply and was ready to tell her everything he was feeling.

''Well, I've wanted to say that for a long time, Ellen. Ever since I met you, I've found you very different. I don't usually get very close to people, but you, I want to get to know you more, to be your friend, in fact, much more than a friend.” Ellen already knew what he meant, and to her, it didn't seem real. She put her hands together in front of her body and asked, feeling nervous. ''Well, I don't quite understand, what are you getting at?''

She said, looking at him, wondering if he was going to say that he liked her.

''Well, I…'' Phil moved closer to her, put his hands on her face, holding her gently, and said. ''I… I like you, Ellen, a lot. I want you to give me the chance to show you that I can be the man for you.”

Hearing those sweet words, his face close to hers, Phill's hands on her face, Ellen felt confused. She liked Paul, but Phill was exactly like Paul, only Phill's ways were different from Paul's. But they were identical, and that got in the way.

Ellen tried to get away from him, but the only answer at the moment was silence.

As she pulled away, Phill pulled Ellen to him and pressed his lips to hers. Ellen tried to pull away, but Phill grabbed Ellen's back and plunged his tongue into Ellen's mouth. When she looked at his face, she instantly thought he was Paul, and gave in to the kiss, but he wasn't. Paul's kiss was different, more voracious and provocative. Ellen looked at Phill, who kept kissing her.

Phill wrapped his hands around her waist, moving as he kissed her. He kissed her with desire and passion. Ellen woke up from her delirium and tried to get loose, but Phill kept holding her and kissing her. At that moment, Paul was walking down the corridor and couldn't believe what was happening in front of him.

His brother grabbed the woman he intensely desired. He saw their mouths joined, Phill grabbing her and kissing her intensely, while Ellen tried to break free of his grip. Paul was burning with rage and rushed towards them. When he was close enough, he pulled Ellen violently behind him and shouted at his altered brother: “What the fuck do you think you're doing, Phill?'' Paul's eyes were wide with anger, and Phill looked at his brother angrily and adjusted his tie. Ellen stood behind Paul, afraid of what might happen.
