Chapter 22 The Fight
“Why do you two have to be in the middle of the road when the hunters come?”

“It’s simple if you think about it, Adam. We are what they are after and we might as well think they will get us and then him this why we can. It has to stop eventually and I would like it to stop now. It’s something we have to do if we are all going to have a normal life and will live as we use too.”

“The hunters are not treating us fairly and if they want to be the police for the supernatural, then they need to be fair about our kind. This is the only way we can make that happens you have to trust us on that.”

“I trust you and I love you and I can’t stand by and watch you get hurt in this. I won’t get hurt and you will not be standing by you will fight just like the rest of us.”

“So you all need to be careful, I want all of us to go home in one piece.”

“Ok we have down to the next few hours the hunters will show up and wait in the middle of the road for Jake and Katie to come, but they will see Katie and me in the middle of the road. So the rest of you can make your move when you get the signal to come in. We want them to think we buy ourselves at this point even now they will be on their toes to see us by ourselves. Ok gang just a half hour to go so everyone gets into place and we can get ready for the hunters. All of you be careful. I see them coming down the road they are just minutes away now. So make sure you guys listen for our signal.”

“Look what we have here Brett. We have our two mice in the middle of the road waiting on us to come and pick them up.”

“Yeah, Sid looks like they want to give themselves over to us. Looks like they finally came to their sense and we won’t have to go through their friends right now to get what we want.”

Sid just laughs and then says I wonder about that.

“So Kenzie does this mean you will be mine and have the child that will not disappoint me? So our child can have the world has his plaything.  Come to my ladies just get in our cars and we will be off and no one will have to be hurt. I am not stupid I know your friends are here somewhere around here.”  

“Oh, aren’t you so clever Sid? But I have no attention to going anywhere with you. I do however plan on getting things settled now. Brett and you must die so I can set things right. You do not belong to be the head of the hunters and Brett need not become another you. We are here to stop you and we will do it right here and now.”

“Just how do you plan on doing that my dear Kenzie?”

“I am much powerful then you thought I would be and thanks to your potion you made me a drink and the help up Katie here we can and will stop you. Just like now I can feel that you are wondering how true that is. I can feel Brett doubt my words. I scare the rest of your hunters shitless.  So hear me now and listen well you two will not leave here alive and that is a fact. Then no more talk and let’s begin my dear Kenzie because here I come.”

Katie grabs my shoulder and I let out a scream that calls the animals to my side. Wolves, bears, cougars, dogs and many more kinds of animals. That made Sid takes a step back for just a minute. Then took out his bow and took aim at one wolf. He didn’t see the hawk come at him when he fired it. The hawk got him across the face. The others fought with animals and then I see Katie fire a lightning bolt at one truck and it caught fire. The hunters didn’t know what to do and Brett and Sid still tried to come forward and that is when I gave the signal to the others to come into the fight. They took several hunters down and then Haven came up behind Brett him and shoved him down to the ground. He looked up at her and said you will not win this little huntress.  

“Oh, but I will since I already know that I am the better hunter of us. It is in my blood to be a hunter you had to be trained for many years and I can feel it in my blood to slay the one is after my friends and who tried to hurt me.”

Haven and Brett fight with swords and daggers. Brett cuts Haven across her arm and that is when Haven took her other and stabbed Brett in the Heart before he knew what hit him. He went down on his knees and Haven then but Brett’s head cleans off. Then Sid comes up and stabbed Haven in her shoulder and she fell to the ground. I came to her and made Sid feel pain in his mind. I made him feel like he was on fire and burning from the inside out. You could hear his screams and him asking for help. No one dared come to his aid. I watch Sid from the pain I made him feel burst from the pain. He will no longer hurt anyone again.

They injured many of the gang but we lost none. The hunters lose a few and their two leaders. I told the hunter where they needed to go and that I would be there in a few days to tell them who their new leaders would be and we would have gifts for them to help them know the right path to go. We need to get home now so we can get the ones that are hurt healed.

“How many of us ended up getting hurt. Three of us got hurt. Dillion will have to have helped since his legs are broken. Haven needs help as well because someone stabbed her. Shasha how bad are you hurt right now? Just my arm is out of a socket and I have a gash in my leg. Where is Russell? I knock him out cold and has a big gash in his chest. So make that four of us that got hurt tonight. We will have a long few weeks ahead of us with everything that will happen and things that Katie and I have to do with the hunters. We need to go home and then we will explain everything we have planned for them.  We all head for home to heal and to get ready to deal with the hunter’s new order and how to set them on the right track.”
