Chapter 320 Girls Shouldn't Look at Too Filthy Things
Chapter 320 Girls Shouldn't Look at Too Filthy Things
When Fiona saw Evelyn notice her, she panicked and rushed back into the cabin.
There was nothing unusual about the alcohol Dominic was drinking.. Seeing Fiona rush back in, he frowned and asked coldly,.
"What's wrong with you?"
The others were in a state of excitement.
Panic filled Fiona’s face. She grabbed Dominic's hand and said urgently.
"Dominic, save me."
Hearing this, Dominic looked around. When he noticed Cordelia was missing and the people around them were acting strangely, his expression changed drastically. He jumped up from the sofa, grabbed Fiona, and demanded angrily.
"What have you done?"
Fiona bit her lip hard, glancing at the people around them who were gradually showing effects.
She had added aphrodisiacs to most of the fruit wine, almost every bottle, and controlled the dosage to ensure it would take effect when they were all drinking happily.
When Dominic saw Fiona looking toward the crowd, he realized that not only was Cordelia missing, Harry was gone too.
Different scenes began to cross his mind. He stood up abruptly, grabbed Fiona by the collar, and pulled her close.
"Where's Cordelia?"
"Where did you take Cordelia?"
Seeing that Dominic only cared about Cordelia at this moment, Fiona took a deep breath. Her earlier nervousness completely turned to anger because of Dominic's reaction.
"Cordelia? You only care about Cordelia, can't you see anyone else?"
She had a miscarriage, and Dominic didn't even notice, didn't even care.
Cordelia, Cordelia. Always Cordelia!
He only cared about Cordelia.
Why didn't Cordelia just die?
She should die at sea.
Seeing the change in Fiona's expression, Dominic's eyes turned cold, and he immediately pushed her away.
Gabriel stood beside Evelyn and could sense the murderous intent radiating from her.
Tonight, Alaric had been in the cabin, his eyes constantly looking out, watching another yacht. Gabriel was just curious.
After asking, he learned that Alaric was focused on another yacht.
Alaric had fallen in love with Evelyn's sister.
Just now, he saw Alaric taking off his jacket while rushing anxiously toward the deck and realized something had gone wrong.
Evelyn also reacted immediately and followed Alaric out.
Gabriel immediately had his assistant block the guests, and when he followed Evelyn to the deck, Alaric had already jumped into the sea.
Evelyn wanted to jump down, too, but Gabriel grabbed her.
"Ms. Stone, don't be impulsive. Mr. Hughes will definitely be able to rescue your sister."
After stopping Evelyn, he quietly instructed the staff to contact the captain of the neighboring yacht.
The staff immediately went to do so.
Cordelia felt like she couldn't hold on anymore; she didn't even have the strength to struggle.
She wanted to calm herself, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't swim as easily as others.
Her consciousness was gradually fading, overwhelmed by exhaustion.
Seeing Cordelia showing no signs of struggle anymore, Alaric swam faster to her side and pulled her close.
Gabriel threw a life ring over.
Other guests in the cabin wanted to come out, but were all stopped by Gabriel's assistant.
Watching Alaric bring Cordelia over, Evelyn quickly went to help pull Cordelia up.
The medical staff on board immediately came to give Cordelia emergency treatment.
After chest compressions, Cordelia spat out seawater. Both Evelyn and Alaric breathed a sigh of relief.
Cordelia opened her eyes. This near-death experience made her want to cry.
Seeing this, Alaric immediately went to hold her, comforting her softly.
"It's okay now, I'm here."
Cordelia curled up in his arms, her throat too sore to speak.
Seeing this, Gabriel said in a low voice.
"Let's take Ms. Stone to a room to change clothes first."
After speaking, he glanced at the staff, who immediately went to make arrangements.
Alaric also picked up Cordelia.
Thinking of Fiona's phone call earlier, Cordelia quickly whispered to Alaric.
"Over there..."
Alaric looked at Evelyn.
Evelyn nodded slightly and said coldly.
"I'll handle it."
Only then did Alaric carry Cordelia into the cabin and head straight for a room.
In the cabin's living room, the others didn't know what had happened, but didn't dare to look around too obviously out of curiosity.
Gabriel had already had the captain contact the other yacht's captain, and the two yachts were approaching each other.
When Evelyn was about to board the other yacht, she glanced at Gabriel following behind her.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Harris, for causing you trouble. Please go attend to your guests. I'll handle this."
Gabriel's lips curved into a smile as he gently pushed up his glasses.
"If you're going to kill someone, you need someone to help you."
Evelyn's eyes flickered, and a strange feeling rose in her heart.
As the two yachts drew close, Gabriel jumped across.
After he got over it, he reached out his hand to Evelyn.
Without time to think, Evelyn stepped and jumped over. Gabriel caught Evelyn firmly, his hands around her waist. After she was steady, Gabriel withdrew his hands.
Evelyn whispered her gratitude.
"Thank you."
After saying this, without waiting for Gabriel's response, she walked into the cabin.
The captain of the neighboring yacht had just received the radio call and discovered someone had fallen overboard. Frightened, he went to find Harry.
Harry didn't like Herschel and the others, so after the party started, he clinked glasses with Hannah, said "happy birthday," and returned to his room.
When the captain came to tell him what had happened, he rushed into the cabin to find Hannah already drunk and in a bad state.
Seeing this scene, Harry was furious. He kicked Herschel away, pulled Hannah up, then had the captain separate the others and pour cold water and ice water on their heads to sober them up.
Evelyn walked ahead of Gabriel. As she was about to enter the cabin, Gabriel reached out and stopped her.
"Let me go in first."
Evelyn looked at him, puzzled.
Gabriel said calmly, "Girls shouldn't see too many dirty things. It would corrupt those beautiful eyes."
Evelyn's cool, calm eyes flickered slightly. She stopped and let Gabriel enter the cabin first.
Since she took over the Stone Group, she'd been the only woman in a room full of men.
At first, everyone looked down on her because she was a woman, but after seeing what she was capable of, they all respected her.
Just as Bruce had said, her personality was too strong, so no one had ever treated her like a girl.
Over the years, no matter what problems she encountered, she seemed to have no one to rely on, and no one ever stepped forward to protect her.
She just didn't understand what Gabriel's purpose was in approaching her.
Somehow, Gabriel always gave off a sense of danger that made Evelyn inexplicably uneasy.
And he was Tessa's stepson, which made her even more uneasy.
