Chapter 141 The cute, little wedding crusher

Earlier, Roger followed Pearl discreetly, watching as she entered a limousine at the underground car park. As the chauffeur was about to close the door to the limo, Roger kicked him, entered, and locked the door securely.

Pearl panicked. “Destiny, you have to do something,” and the blonde man at the seat in front of her was puzzled. Before he could utter a word, Roger calmly addressed him.

“So, you are the so-called Destiny.” He remembered the face now, as it wasn’t something he was fond of in college. Destiny had eyes on a girl in their college sorority, and because she was dating another guy, he went with his gang to secretly kill him.

Unfortunately, Roger ruined it for him. The guy later left the college, and so did the girl. Roger would not have remembered if he had not seen him today.

“I honestly thought it was someone important after my wife. You were no match for me in college, and you are no match for me now.”

Destiny’s face was heated with anger, but Roger’s attention returned to Pearl as he addressed her correctly. “Tonia, you were smart enough to change your appearance with surgery, but how could you forget your eyes?”

Her eyes were what betrayed her. The moment he looked into the eyes, he knew who was behind it, especially when he was aware that Tonia’s death was faked.

“But…but, I was declared dead. Anyone could have my eyes,” Tonia stammered, unknowingly confirming Roger’s words.

“Well, you can fool everyone but not us. We had a DNA test done on your fake corpse, so trust me, we’ve been on the lookout.”

Tonia felt like the dumbest person in the world. Given a second chance, she still failed to have her revenge, rather falling prey to Roger and Karen once again.

“Roger, please, it’s not what you think.”

“ You should have gone to a faraway place, lived your new life in peace, but no, you had to come after my wife," he said seriously. Tonia had tears in her eyes as she pleaded.

"No, it’s not like that. Destiny saved my life, and all he wanted was Karen. He just wanted a word with her."

"So, you wanted to drug her and bring her to him, isn’t it?" Rage boiled inside him as he put two and two together, but Tonia was filled with memories of the past when she had come face to face with death.

"No, please. He said he was only going to talk to her."

Roger smiled at Destiny, but it was so chilly that the temperature in the car dropped to zero. "And you, Destiny. You wanted my wife, for what?"

"As payback for what you did to me. I wanted you to know how it feels to lose someone you love," he raged, his anger palpable. But Roger laughed hysterically.

"You are so ridiculous. That girl had a man she loved. You wanted to come between them, so you were guilty then, and you are guilty now."

Destiny’s teeth gritted together. After paying for Tonia’s cosmetic surgery and training her as a pawn, she failed at her given chance. What a waste.

He should have invested the money spent on her in business. That way, he would not have ended up here.

"So what are you gonna do now? I wanted your wife? And so what?" He yelled, but a slap tilted his head to the side, the metallic taste of blood filling his mouth. "You were saying?" Roger taunted, and Destiny feared the look in his eyes.

"Roger, please, I promise to be a…" Tonia was saying when her throat was slit. No one saw from where Roger got the knife, and the horrifying sight caused Destiny to scream. "Roger, you monster!"

Roger smiled. "She escaped when she was meant to die. I’m just making sure she doesn’t escape this time," he said casually, as Tonia’s lifeless body tilted, blood dripping, staining the lavish leather seat.

Destiny was in great pain. What a wasted investment. “Okay, Roger, since you killed her, can you let me go?”

Roger smiled. “Sure, but without your eyes.”

“What?” Destiny went crazy as Roger explained, “any man who has eyes on my wife does not deserve to see for the rest of his life.”

“No…” Destiny was saying when Roger cut him off. “I haven’t finished talking. Also, he doesn’t deserve to have a cock to move around with.”

Destiny shook his head in fear, but Roger was serious. “In short, I want your life but not without subjecting you to pain for, ever wanting to kidnap my wife.”

Destiny looked around for help, but his chauffeur was still unconscious from Roger’s kick.

“Ple…” he was about to beg when Roger stabbed him in the eyes, eliciting a shrill cry from him.

Roger casually pulled out the knife and stabbed his other eye. Destiny was a bloody mess, accompanied by the excruciating pain he was feeling. The next stab went to his manhood, causing him to groan in agony.

The energy to scream was gone, and the last stab went into Destiny’s heart, completely draining the life out of him.

Roger stepped majestically out of the car, a thin smile on his face. With Destiny and Tonia gone for good, he could move on to the next phase of his life.

Returning to Karen, he answered her question with a few words. “Don’t worry. Neither Tonia nor Destiny will ever disturb you again.”

A faint smile stretched across Karen’s lips. She knew Roger had taken care of her enemies for good this time. It was the reason for the bloodstain. “I love you, Stallion.”

“I love you more, kitten.” They were staring at each other with desire, their lips almost colliding when Delanie’s voice interrupted. “Okay, that’s enough.”

“You are getting married, and yet, you sound jealous,” Declan teased her, she didn’t deny it.

“That’s because they are stealing my spotlight,” she screamed in frustration, earning laughter from all present.

When they were done with the arrangement, they left the venue together. As they bid each other farewell by their cars, Declan saw Gracie by the roadside as he drove out.

“Get in,” he said coldly, but Gracie was afraid. “No, my husband is coming to pick me up.”

Declan’s expression hardened, and he instantly drove away. A few minutes later, Gracie entered an Uber, feeling utterly empty.

Upon reaching home, a little girl met her with a bubbly smile, filling the void inside her. She was bouncing on her feet, her hands raised in the air. “Momma, momma.”

Gracie swept her into her arms, her joy abounding. “Oh, Deena, I miss you.”

A few weeks later, at the extravagant hall filled with the world's most expensive flowers and decor, Wade waited at the altar in all elegance, with Chad behind him.

It was a joyful moment, and many people attended. Soon, the bridal procession began, and Oriana started walking down the aisle as Delanie’s maid of honor when the hall was turned upside down.

A little girl, around eighteen months old, ran past Oriana to the front seat where Declan sat, jumping into his arms. “Daddy, daddy,” the hall went quiet, and Oriana froze in the middle of the aisle. What a cute, little, wedding crusher?
