Chapter 365 Let the First Wife Cause Trouble

Chapter 365 Let the First Wife Cause Trouble

When you want to kill someone, it's really hard to hold back.

Flora had a blade hidden in her sleeve—imported precision steel from abroad, thin as a cicada's wing, deadly with just a touch of blood.

With just a lift of her hand, within one second, she could make this bastard drop dead.

But she held back and didn't take it out.

She had just become Nason's trusted confidant, right when she could work hard to dig up Star Creation's dirty secrets.

If she killed Nason, she wouldn't be able to stay at Star Creation anymore.

For this mission, she'd already sacrificed so much!

"Nason," Flora lowered her eyes, hiding the fierce ruthlessness in them, and sweetly placed her hand on his cheek. "You still haven't told me about your family situation."

Nason was completely enchanted by her touch. Although he'd been flirting with Flora for so long, ever since that first time when he got too excited and passed out on her, he hadn't dared make any further moves.

He was afraid of actually dying on top of her, so he decided to lose weight first and get in shape.

After half a month, there were no results, but he was already going crazy with desire.

Strangely enough, every time he wanted to collect some interest in advance and get handsy with Flora's body, he would get so tired he'd pass out, so he had no memory of many of the in-between steps. This really pissed him off.

Sure, he got to cop a feel, but without any memory of it, what was the point?

Now being teased by Flora, Nason's breathing quickened. He eagerly tried to kiss Flora's red lips. "You little minx, you're the only one in my heart. I only love you."

Flora grabbed his chin and pushed him away, not letting him touch her. She said unhappily, "So you really do have a family? You have a wife?"

Nason laughed awkwardly. "Isn't that obvious? At my age, isn't it normal to be married with kids? But don't worry, I have nothing in common with that old hag at home. I'm a top student who studied abroad, and now I'm in a high position, but she only graduated high school. After marriage, she just stayed home with the kids, looking sloppy like a nanny all day. If it weren't for the two kids, I would've left her long ago."

He tried to press himself against Flora again, but Flora kept a straight face and pushed him away forcefully. Biting her lip, she said angrily, "I have principles. Even if I like you, I won't get involved with a married man, especially one with kids!"

"Baby!" Nason seized the opportunity and grabbed her hand, pleading earnestly, "I'll divorce her, okay? I promise, after a while, I'll bring up divorce with her. I only love you. I'll marry you."

Flora looked at him affectionately. "Really?"

Nason quickly swore to heaven, "More real than pure gold."

He pulled Flora into his arms. "Not angry anymore, right?"

Flora said coyly, "Then don't come looking for me before you get divorced. I don't want to be a mistress. Only after you're divorced can we be together."

"You're torturing me!" Nason sighed. "Baby Rose, I love you the most. I promise I'll marry you, okay?"

Flora said proudly, "No way. Only after you're divorced can we take things further."

Nason was going crazy with desire but could only humor her. "Fine, fine, fine. I'll go home tonight and divorce that woman."

Anyway, worst case he could just forge a divorce agreement. For naive young girls like this, there were plenty of ways to fool them.

Flora smiled, but her lowered eyes were full of coldness. She slipped out of Nason's arms like a butterfly, laughing sweetly. "Then I'll leave first. I'll come back when it's time for the meeting."

Nason tried to hold her, but she was too slippery. In a moment of carelessness, she got away.

What you can't have is always the most unforgettable. That's exactly how Nason felt right now—craving her like crazy, yet also enjoying this hunting process.

After Flora left Nason's office, her face still wore that flattering expression. She walked in her high heels, swaying as she entered the restroom.

She took out the "Under Maintenance" sign from the utility room and placed it outside the women's restroom. Then she slipped into a stall, locked it, and took out the equipment she'd hidden in her shoe sole earlier. She opened it and put it in her ear.

At the FitzRoy Group, Roy immediately noticed the reconnected signal and quickly said, "Flora, is that you? Are you safe?"

"I'm safe." Flora briefly explained the current situation to Roy. "I have a recording of Nason badmouthing his wife and kids. I'm transmitting it to you now. I need you to help me from the outside—play this recording for Nason's wife. Edit the recording a bit so it doesn't expose that I recorded it."

Anyway, Nason had definitely said those things to other people more than once. When men get drunk outside and start chatting, they speak without restraint. As long as the recording didn't get handed to Nason's wife directly by her, Nason shouldn't suspect her.

On the other end of the communication, Roy said with difficulty, "Flora, come back. Mr. FitzRoy has given the order for you to withdraw from Star Creation. Mr. FitzRoy is in some trouble. Star Creation is going to become very dangerous. Once your identity is exposed, you definitely won't have a good outcome."

But Flora laughed. "Mr. FitzRoy is in trouble—isn't that exactly when he needs me? I finally managed to climb into Star Creation's upper management. You want me to pull out now? Are you kidding? I won't agree to that."

She instructed Roy, "I don't have much time. Remember what I told you. Make sure Nason's wife comes to Star Creation and makes a scene, got it?"

She quickly hung up the communication, shut off the signal, and stuffed it back into her shoe sole.

Then she left the stall, casually put away the sign outside, washed her hands, and left.

On the other end, Roy was left with the call disconnected, feeling like there was a lump of air stuck in his chest that wouldn't go up or down. He felt terrible.

Flora's intention was clear—from now on, she'd only contact him one-way. She'd turn on communication when needed and turn it off when not.

That meant he couldn't even monitor her situation in real-time. How could he ensure her safety?

This woman had really lost it.

Flora really was a bit crazy. She had clawed her way out of the mud—without some ruthlessness and fighting spirit, she would've been done for long ago.

It was precisely because of the madness in her bones that she'd made it this far, that she could stay by Alexander's side and become his blade.

She had her own logic and her own principles.

Figuring the time was about right, Flora returned to Nason's office. Nason looked at her resentfully. "So you do remember to come back."

Flora grinned. "You gave me such a good opportunity. Of course I have to perform well."

"Alright, let's go to the meeting first." Nason ground his back teeth secretly. "Sooner or later, I'll have you begging for mercy in bed!"

Flora's cheeks flushed red. She stamped her feet and ran out.
