I sped up the caresses, and she surrendered completely to the pleasure, my hand filled with her abundant release.
"It's better if you do it for me. I need to change clothes, I'm a mess." She covered my face with kisses. "Thank you, Love. I imagine you're worse off, I'll ask the doctor what I can do for you that won't affect the babies."
"You're not asking anything, don't worry, I loved giving you pleasure."
"I needed it."
She headed to the bathroom and came out in different clothes a few minutes later. She helped me up and I went into the bathroom. During lunch, my father was updating Roland on the details of Las Alondras, as they had agreed. Since it took up my husband's time, Dad took over running Mrs. Consuelo's ranch, who had moved into our house until my pregnancy was over.
In the afternoons, he did surveys at El Renacer, thus relieving my husband of some work. The lie told helped me not to hate him again, now old Fausto saw him as another son. On the other hand, I noticed how much he enjoyed talking to Roland's mother, and she reciprocated. I didn't miss how she started to dress up a bit more, and my husband noticed that too.
"Love, we have to go."
"Are you sure you don't want me to come with you?" Mrs. Consuelo asked. I shook my head and smiled at her; my mother-in-law was an angel.
"The event organizer is coming, I'd like you to meet her and discuss what's been agreed."
"And Mr. Fausto needs to wait with Jacinto for the new batch of cattle."
"Then we'll wait here, I can't wait to find out the sex of my grandchildren. By the way, did Santiago send you the photo of Salvador?" I nodded. My brother was crazy about his son; in the photo, they were both on a horse. "He looks a lot like him."
"He looks identical." Roland stood up, picked me up, and I told him I wanted to walk a bit.
"By the way, Beautiful, Pomposo's second foal is for Salvador, as a birthday present. What do you think, honey?" He was barely turning two.
"Alright, poor mares, they'll only be for breeding with all the kids waiting." I heard him laugh.
"Do you want me to get you another mare?"
"Only if you buy another horse."
"I'll think about it, there are a lot of kids." I burst out laughing. "The problem is I've already opened my big mouth, and my friends are expecting a colt or mare from my horses. There are already three for my kids. Two from Amón and one from Pomposo."
"Honey, we don't know what Chocolate will have, there are three months left for that. And it's time to go."
"I'll carry you to the car."
I agreed. I said goodbye, and Inés gave me her blessing. While we were on our way, my husband's hand caressed my huge belly, and I did the same. The silence was pleasant; there was no need to state the obvious, my children were a blessing. The kicks were getting stronger, reacting to their father's caresses.
"Those are my intruders."
"Roland, don't call them that."
"Verónica, I thought you'd be used to it by now. They were, are, and will be my intruders."
He parked at the clinic, and they were already waiting for me. Roland sat me in a wheelchair. I looked at him, and he shrugged. I sighed. We didn't wait long; once we checked in, the smiling Dr. Jones greeted us and asked us to follow her.
"You look great, Verónica."
"If being chubby, busty, and pregnant makes me look good, then thank you very much." My husband shook his head while the doctor smiled. We reached her office.
"Since my last visit, has there been any news?"
"Her feet are swollen." I stayed silent, my husband the complainer had started. "Apart from the sensitivity and her sexual frustration." I turned red. "Nothing else." The doctor looked at us.
"Nothing has happened, doctor, but that doesn't stop my wife from wanting to devour me." I must have been purple, the doctor tried to stay serious but wanted to laugh. "Dr. Jones, is there any way I can give my wife pleasure without compromising the babies?" Now I turned blue.
"Veronica, breathe," said the doctor. "It's very normal to have sexual desire during pregnancy, as it increases, and it's natural to desire your husband. Let's check things out and then we'll talk."
"Should I put her on the stretcher?" Roland asked.
The doctor nodded. "Let's see if the triplets are in perfect condition. This will be the only ultrasound unless something unusual comes up. As I mentioned, the next visit will be for the C-section. Last week's blood samples confirm that the cancer is stable, which reassures me a bit." The doctor applied the gel to my belly, and my babies appeared on the screen.
"They're in the same position as three months ago. Look, each one has an arm raised as if they're waving at you." It was thrilling to see them, and tears quickly came to my eyes. My husband wiped them away. "Well, let me tell you... I can't move them much; they're quite snug in there," she smiled. "The truth is... Mr. and Mrs. Sandoval, you're going to have two boys and a girl."
Our hands joined, and when we looked at each other, he smiled with a sparkle in his eyes, while I started crying again. Oh, those blessed hormones, making me so emotional.
"Are they complete?" I asked.
"They look very good. Let me check the cervix."
The contrast in tones in my cervix was evident. She explained that the dark area was the cancer, and a good part of it would be removed. Despite the doctor's efforts, it was impossible to move them. The two boys were on each side, and my little girl was in the middle. It didn't surprise me; they would be as overprotective as their father.
Looking at my husband, he was captivated, watching and paying attention to what the doctor showed us. His happiness was evident. He sighed, ran his free hand over his face, and smiled like a love-struck fool. Our eyes met, and he gave me that beautiful smile that characterized him when he was happy.
"Two intruders and a princess."
"Isn't she an intruder?" I asked.
He shook his head. "Never, she's my princess." I had just lost my husband.
"Well, that's all for today. I'll give you the video and audio, Mr. Sandoval. Regarding giving her pleasure, let me inform you: no vaginal sex. You saw how the cervix is. So far, we've managed to avoid complications." She looked at my husband.
"You'll have to do all the work. She can't be in compromising positions. If you're creative and gentle..."
The doctor looked at him, and he nodded while I felt my neck, chest, and face heat up. This was embarrassing.
"I understand, thank you very much, doctor."
"No, in fact," she looked at me. "You're doing very well, Veronica. It won't be long now. We'll see you here in two months, and I'll visit your ranch in two weeks." She looked at my husband. "By the way, Mr. Sandoval, I want to buy a horse for my son. I've heard your thoroughbreds are excellent."
"Come by the ranch, and you'll see. I have some that might interest you."
"I'll come over this weekend."
"I'll be expecting you. Thanks for everything, doctor."
On the way back, we were very slow and happy. I caressed my belly, two princes and a princess. "Thank you, God," I sighed.
"Thank you, my love, for three more angels." I looked at him.
"You put them there. I should thank you."
"However it happened, thank you anyway. And before we get home," he stopped the car, "tonight, send my mom and your dad to bed early." I frowned.
"Why?"
"Veronica, do I need to spell it out for you?" He sighed. "I have the green light for oral sex and..."
"Roland..."
"Beautiful, it's been a little over three months since I visited your delicious butt, which is mine, by the way." I turned red again. "Don't be like that, although you look damn beautiful. I'll do all the work, and you'll just lie on your side."

"You should."
He resumed driving, and I couldn't help but feel eager for the night to come so I could be alone with my husband.
