After a few more coughs he answered in a scratchy voice, “Got it son. Now after they found out they were mates Kairo had jumped up violently and went to grab her hand to see is it was the same. When they both felt the tingles and bond slip into place, he sneered at her and said “Now I have you forever pet.” Which of course caused her to panic and Koa to get pissed off. He couldn’t really understand why his twin brother was acting this way towards his fated mate.” Charlie took a breath then said something that caused the hair on the back of my neck to stand on end. “Koa approached Kairo about it and ended up fighting him but...” He trailed off and I can only imagine the worst was yet to come. Charlie says with a sigh so heavy that it brought pain hearing it. “Nobody knew that this was Kairo’s plan to get rid of his twin and have his own life without following in his steps. As they fought, I stood in front of the Chy and Vi while Sammy was rooting and cheering at them fighting. Koa had knocked Kairo down and flat out told him to stay away from his mate and turned around to go to her when Kairo stabbed him in the back and watched the light leave his eyes saying “Now I’m finally free.” Violet watched the life leave her mates eyes and collapsed in Chy arms crying.” Charlie said with a watery voice. Now I was pissed the fuck off. I wiggled in Trent’s arms to tell him to let me go which he did and I started pacing before I grabbed the phone and asked Charlie, “Charlie I know this is hard as hell to talk about but I need to know what did Kairo do to Violet that weakened her wolf to the point of death?” I keep pacing as I wait because I can guarantee I know exactly what happened, but I want to wait for him to confirm it.

“Once he confirmed Koa was dead, he tried to complete the bond with Vi but I wouldn’t let him so he shoved me out of the way hard enough for me to hit the wall and become unconscious. When I was out of the way Chy tried to have her run for help but instead Violet looked at Kairo and told him he was a monster and that she formally rejected him as her mate. When that bond snapped, she passed out and never recovered properly from that night. She left and moved to a human town and stayed there till she died at 30.” Charlie said with no damn emotion just pure hatred and for once I can agree with it. I snapped my eyes up to Trent and handed the phone to Kill to try and finish the call with his dad.
He watched me in a cautious manor as I growled my annoyance and asked him, “Call your dad now.” In an eerily calm voice to which he did so as he dialed him, I looked to Thomas to ask him, “Has your dad tired to now or at any point try to harm you or Tyler?” Thomas glances at Ty and with a gulp he nods his head yes. And that just sealed his fate. I am not I do not tolerate parents harming their own or any damn children. Trent passes the phone to me and I look at him to see him frowning in concern at me but I just shake my head because right now I need someone to do something before I take off and do it myself. With a smile of gratitude, I take the phone from him and say, “Alpha Paxton this is Jazzamine I am so sorry to call this late but it urgent that I speak with you.” I tell him as calmly as I can muster which isn’t much when there is a constant growl rumbling in my chest at the thought of my mates being in danger. “Hello Jazzamine it’s ok Trent sort of gave me a quick run down and I understand your in full Alpha mode right now so I’m all ears. How can I help you?” He says so damn calmly and matter of fact that it helps me understand what I’m feeling and I love him for it even tho we haven’t personally met yet. I glance at Trent to see him and the others standing in front of the door and I chuckle at them anticipating my actions before I do them. “thank you Alpha I greatly appreciate this. Now to answer your question I need someone to please pick Thomas and Tyler’s parents and hold them in a cell till I am able to speak with them.” Thomas tries to step forward to take the phone shaking his head no but I just tell him to stop while Tyler grabs his shoulder to stop him too. “If you don’t mind me asking honey, why are we holding their parents in jail?” I smile at the diplomatic way he asks that and answer, “well sir, it’s been brought to my attention that they have committed a murder over 30 years ago of a Mr. Koa Jameson and a Violet...” I turn to Kill and ask, “What was Violet’s last name?” They look back and forth before Alpha is the one to answer in a growl. “Violet Swanson was her name. and may I ask how you have the evidence or proof that happened?”  

I turn to Trent and I know my eyes are glowing blue with my tiger as I answer, “Thomas has confirmed that his dad is trying to pull the same stunts as before with his brother on Thomas and Tyler. Also, you should either be getting a call or visit from Killian’s dad who is an eye witness to what happened that night. I want to be able to speak with them both and see what is going on thru their minds to understand why they went to the great lengths to cover up a murder and kill someone else’s wolf just for fun sir.” I hear the sharp intake before there is a muffled growl and Alpha is back as he says, “I’ll take care of it. They will be ready and waiting till you are able to speak with them Jazz. Please tell the boys that I am so sorry they had to deal with that and that we will be pressing charges and speaking with them when they are ready to talk to us. I will let you go for now so I can personally take care of this.” He says that then hangs up with my “Yes sir.” In answer.
