Luckily for me, I did not see him throughout my classes, I was beginning to wonder if he was present at school at all, well, he was the Lycan’s son, maybe, his father needed him for work, I was about to head to my locker since it was lunch time when I saw a paper on my table, it was calling me to open it due to curiosity, I did and it read; ‘’Hey, beautiful. You are looking hot today, care to meet me at the janitor’s closet?’’

I could not place my head on who wrote it, a small part of me kept screaming that it might be Alex but I did not believe, he could not start complimenting me overnight, it was not possible, not in this life or next, I also wanted to find out who it was, I walked out with a wide grin on my face with the thought of someone liking me, as I walked, my breast was bouncing and it caught people’s attention, I had to slow down a bit.

I thought against ignoring the letter and just meet Ashley in the cafeteria instead but I wanted to know who the secret admirer was, I have never had one before.

‘’Hello, Alex?’’ I called out his name, softly after getting inside.

The figure turned to face me and my smile dropped when I realized that it was not him, the guy was not ugly but he could not just match up to my mate.

The first thing that got into my head was to leave, I would not want another guy to touch me, my mate would feel it and then, call me a cheater before he could accept me.

He would use that as another reason to reject me.

I turned around and wanted to reach for the door when I was pulled back forcefully, pinning me to the wall, ‘’That was not a nice way to say hello, who were you expecting? The school’s jerk?’’

Of course, guys would hate him because he had everything that they did not.

Their girlfriends could literally break up with them, so, they could be with Xander.

I wanted to counter his words but I chose to be quiet.

‘’Is he your mate or you are one of those girls who like him already? Well, that was fast considering that you are a new student. You are sexy and hot, I could not take my eyes off these throughout today, do you want to hookup?’’ He questioned while eye fucking me.

‘’No, I am not a slut.’’ I finally voiced out.

‘’But you are dressed like one, come on, don’t be shy, I promise you will like it and even come back for more.’’ He told before licking his lips which made me cringe.

I should never have come here.

‘’No, I don’t want it.’’ I tried to free myself but he was too strong for me.

He placed his hand on my face, caressing it while his other hand trailed to my ass which made my eyes water, I had to leave this place.

‘’Kick him in the balls and run!’’ Kira stated in my head and I took her advice immediately.

He groaned out in pains and placed his hands there while he bent down, I took that as a cue to run for my dear life, as I ran, I wiped the tears off my face.

He would surely find me and have revenge on me at all cost, I was in deep shit, if only I had a time machine.

I met Ashley standing beside my locker and tried to control my heart beat if not, she would find out that I have been in a terrible situation.

‘’Hey, what’s up? Where have you been? I have been waiting for you, wait…’’

She squinted her eyes at me to observe, ‘’Have you been crying? What happened? Talk to me.’’

I was trying to arrange the words that I would give to her as a response when Alison came with two other minions.

‘’Well, well, isn’t it the new girl dressed like a whore?’’ She eyed me in a disgusting manner.

Mate snatcher.

‘’It takes one to know one, you know. I mean, you are the leader of hookers in this school.’’ Ashley came to my defense and all the werewolves who heard it, stifled a laugh while some actually could not hold it back.

‘’My boyfriend’s little dog is barking again, I was not talking to you, so, mind your business, since when did you become her mouthpiece?’’ Alison fired back at her.

I was not ready for this, in as much as I love the way, Ashley had got my back since I moved here, I did not want it to continue for long, I needed to stand up for myself if I ever wanted to be strong, I do not want anybody to be my bodyguard even though, I was weak.

‘’Isn’t that Ashley’s dress?’’ One of the minions pointed out and I felt embarrassed.

‘’Oh, yes. It is, she could not even afford her own clothes and I heard that she is an Alpha’s daughter, how pathetic?!’’ She asserted.

‘’Take my advice, new girl, dressing like this is not going to make boys like you, not even my boyfriend if you are planning to go for him since he is your roommate, I have warned you before, I do not want to see you an inch close to my boyfriend or else, I would turn you into an ugly looking frog, cock you in a bottle and take you to the biology lab where you would be used for practical, nobody would know until you have been dissected.’’ She threatened before walking away.

She was a witch; she could definitely do that.

As soon as she left, I released a breath that I did not know, I have been holding.

‘’You could have said something back to her, she would not be able to do that because she is on probation, if she misbehaves again, my mum would expel her, you don’t need to be scared, you know.’’ Ashley told me.

I let out a sigh and pleaded, ‘’Can we please go to the cafeteria? I am really hungry and I have had a long day.’’

‘’Sure.’’ She nodded.

I knew that he was in there because his scent was everywhere, if he was nice, I would have cried on his shoulders, how my first day at school turned out terribly but he was not.

We took our lunch and sat down quietly on the table where her other friends were, I turned to find him staring at me, he had his brows furrowed and I knew he was angry, he bit into his apple and when Alison noticed, she tried to confront him but he did not reply her, he just stood up and headed towards me, he forcefully pulled me away from the table and dragged me out of the cafeteria, all the way back to our room.

He was definitely going to kill me.
