Chapter 7
Jordan’s POV
Turns out there was nothing wrong in the first place and that he had only missed me too much to stay away for another second which was why he came to see me that night.
A part of me already concluded that he only came to me to get an orgasm probably because he couldn’t get it from the twink he was currently seeing secretly.
I was supposed to go pick out my suit with Derek today, along with things like flowers and shoes, as well as make the most important arrangements for the wedding today. It was exactly a week after Derek came to see me in the middle of the night and had sex with me. After that day, the most words we’ve exchanged was when we went to my parents’ house to have dinner.
Derek kept scowling and mumbling at how loud my little nephews and nieces were during dinner. The four kids had been with my mum for three days since they were on the holiday and were extra loud and chatty because of my presence. They all still remembered when I baby sat them at one point of my life.
I was currently sitting on Michael’s couch with his dog cuddling my arms, Derek was supposed to come pick me so we could go pick out some clothes and get our arrangements.
“Is your fiancé still going to show up? Y’know the wedding hasn’t even happened and he’s already bailing on you,” Michael mused before shoveling a handful of popcorn into his mouth. We were seeing a movie together and sharing a bowl of popcorn since it was a Saturday, and we were both less busy.
“He’s not bailing on me. He probably got held back by something important. He’s not bailing on me, so chill,” I replied with an eye roll.
“More important than you? Sounds like such a Derek move.”
“Oh, c’mon Michael, be realistic.”
“I am being realistic, Jordan. How many times have you guys spoken to each other for the past one week now?” Michael turned towards me completely on the couch, his whole attention focused on me.
“Well, almost every night.” I snapped, knowing damn well that I was lying right though my teeth. Michael being the bastard that he was knew that I was lying without even trying.
“He raped you last Friday. Whether you agree to it or not, that’s what happened, and I hope you don’t forget so it doesn’t happen again,” Michael said with all seriousness while staring into my eyes. I looked away and stroked my fingers.
The moment I told Michael about Derek coming to see me and insisting I have sex with him even after I informed him that I didn’t want it, I regretted it immediately because he started fuming at first and said my asshole of a fiancé was going to pay for taking advantage of me.
I was confused at first because I didn’t remember telling him about me being taken advantage of, that was when he pointed out the fact that Derek still had sex with me when I clearly didn’t want it wasn’t consensual sex and automatic equals to rape. I had argued with him immediately because it sounded absurd to my own ears but after so arguing with Michael to no avail, I looked it up on the internet and the moment I saw the results which was exactly what Michael had explained to me, it had felt like cold water got poured over my whole body.
I argued with myself for days, that there was no way Derek would take advantage of me that way but then due to constant reminders from Michael, I had to force myself to accept the truth that Derek actually manipulated me into having sex with him that night... like he has done countless times in our relationship.
That was probably one of the reasons why didn’t usually enjoy sex with him, because majority of the times we did it was me not being in the mood and him promising to get me in the mood.
I had never wanted to admit this to myself but that was also one of the reasons why I had insisted on not moving in with him until marriage, because of him enjoying it most times and me getting only a little aroused after the little foreplay of his that doesn’t involve anything but kissing on the lips and ass groping.
“I don’t think he knew he was raping me though, since it was kinda like what we do sometimes.”
I replied quietly before throwing a few pieces of popcorn into my mouth.
“I thought last week was just the first time... I didn’t know you all actually do something like this frequently and you forced yourself to get used to it Jordan.”
“It’s not all that frequent...” I started to argue but Michael interrupted.
“It’s the same freaking thing, Jordan.” He replied and raised his hand when I wanted to say something, but Michael ignored me anyways.
“Don’t you dare make more stupid excuses for him, y’know I can call the cops on his ass and get him arrested for what he did to you, right? It’s a fucking offense Jordan, so stop covering up for him.”
“I can’t help it... it’s just something I do automatically without even thinking.” I whispered while blinking a little.
“Aw gurl, c’mere.” Michael cooed and placed the bowl of popcorn on the spot behind him before pulling me into his arms and hugging me tight. I hugged him back tightly and blinked back the prickle of tears itching behind my eyelids, I never knew what I did to deserve someone like Michael but here he is, sharing my problems with him and treating them like his problems.
“I just... don’t know.” I whispered against his shoulder and sniffed back tears.
“Is he making you happy?” Michael asked softly and I closed my eyes and took a deep breath before shaking my head on his shoulder, the tears I was trying to hold back finally slip out and I didn’t bother stopping it this time. I was grateful Michael didn’t say anything else and just hugged and comforted me throughout the moment I cried in his arms.
After some minutes, I pulled out of his arms fast when my phone buzzed beside my arms thinking it was Derek texting to tell him he was already outside.
Yeah, yeah... I’m so pathetic and I know it.
Turns out it wasn’t Derek but Oliver who had texted to ask if I wanted to hang out at his place tonight. I replied immediately that I was in, and his enthusiastic reply made me smile despite the trace of tears could still be spotted on my cheeks.
He sent a picture of him smiling wildly while hugging a dog and I couldn’t help but giggle at how extremely cute he looked sitting cross legged on an expanse of grass with the huge dog sitting beside him and coming up to his height, which was why the dog face was resting on his cheeks in the picture.
I asked him where he saw the dog and he said he was going to tell me more about it when we meet tonight before demanding I send him a picture of me.
“Does it look like I’ve been crying?” I turned towards a smiling Michael and demanded. He glanced away from the television and looked me up and down before shaking his head. “Your eyes are just a little bit red, but that’s not unusual.”
I picked up Michael’s dog and partially buried my face in her fur before taking a few pictures and sending them to Oliver. His reaction was priceless since he didn’t know I was around a dog at the moment which made me laugh loudly. I reminded him that my best friend owns a dog and in the next instant he was asking me if he could meet him and use the opportunity to meet the dog in person.
I told him I’ll be at his place in an hour time and bid him goodbye.
Oliver: Bye! You looked so good up there by the way, and don’t think I didn’t notice the way you tried to hide your smile in that cute dog’s fur, cause I did.
I laughed loudly after reading the text and cuddled the dog even more tightly to my chest before typing a reply.
Jordan: What gave me away?
Oliver: Your eyes, although a little bit red dilutes each time you smile, I noticed immediately.
I bit my lower lips and sucked in a deep breath as my eyes skipped a few beats.
I’ve always liked it when people notice tiny details like that about me, and so far, Oliver has been the one to point out most of those relating random stuffs, including the ones I had no idea I owned.
I didn’t know what to say to the text, so I just left it that way and dropped my phone on the couch beside me before shifting in my seat and cuddling the dog more comfortably. She whined and pressed her nose into my neck which made me giggle and stroke my fingers through her fur slowly.
Oliver and I have gotten really closer than we both expected, we texted almost throughout the day and now converse through calls most nights. We also meet up a lot and enjoy each other’s companies so much.
I didn’t need anybody to point out the fact that I was still heavily attracted to him, and that the attraction only seemed to be increasing each time we spend together. I’ve been trying to kill the attraction from the very start but each time our bodies touch or each time our hands connects, the amount of goosebumps which would automatically fill out over my whole skin and the shivers that would slither down my spine was proof enough.
Reminiscing about the night we hooked up always got me worked up, and I’d have to jerk off. Of course, I felt deeply guilty right after the orgasm start to fade off. I was also shamelessly still lusting over Oliver even after finding out that he was related to my fiancé. But here I was feeling all giddy like a teenager.
Who’s pathetic again? Me!
