90. Wedding Day

Finally, that special day has arrived, the day where the long struggle to maintain love has been passed, the day which is the beginning of a new life leading to eternal happiness for Erick and Angel.

"Gosh, you're so beautiful, darling..."

Angel smiled gently at her mother who was walking closer. "Thank you, Mom."

"Oh my God, Angel...." Mrs. Matthew held Angel's shoulder, looking at her beautiful face covered in flawless makeup. "Mommy never thought you would get married so soon, but mommy is also very happy."

Angel could see the look of emotion in the woman's eyes. She took turns cupping both sides of the mother's face. "We will always be happy together, Mom..."

"Mommy is really relieved now, darling... finally there is a great man who will look after you for the rest of your life. Mommy will have no doubts if Mommy leaves this world in the future."

"What are you talking about, Mommy?" Angel squinted sharply. "Mommy will have a long life. Mommy will definitely be able to see Erlena and her brother until they get married again."

Mrs. Matthew chuckled with tears leaking out. "That's too much, Angel..."

"Mom..." Angel pulled her mother's body, hugging her tightly. "Basically, I want to be with mommy as long as possible."

"Honey, don't be like this." Mrs. Matthew let go of her embrace. "You'll ruin your makeup."

The woman sighed again, her eyes moving to sweep Angel's appearance from top to bottom. "You are absolutely perfect, Angel... Mommy is sure Erick will be amazed to see you."

"I'm fascinated too, milady."

The loud voice made them turn around, seeing Jack Wild appearing with his usual mischievous smile.

"You... the werewolf?" Mrs. Matthew widened.

"We meet again, ma'am." Jack nodded briefly. "Sorry if I fainted you earlier."

"Jack, what are you doing here?" Angel asked with a frown. "Shouldn't you join the male invitees?"

"Not beautiful." Jack shook his head slowly with a gentle smile. "My purpose in coming to your wedding is to be your guide down the aisle."

"You-" Angel's voice was choked with wide eyes, not expecting that the werewolf would be the one to replace her father.

"I really want to let you go in happiness, Angel," said Jack with a serious look, even a hint of emotion in his eyes. "And now is the time."

"Jack-"

"Shh..." Jack shook his head slowly. "You don't need to thank me or feel bad for me. Just think of me doing all this as your older brother."

Angel smiled gently. "You are very kind, Jack."

"We'd better get out now, because the vampire is impatient," said Jack with an amused smile.

Angel nodded slowly, wrapping her arm around Jack's bent arm. She walked by the man's side with a big smile, leaving the dressing room to head to her wedding area in the backyard of the mansion.

The yard had been transformed in such a way, with beautiful flower decorations forming the wedding decoration. A small stage was arranged in front of it, decorated with a backdrop of curved flowers. The chairs and guest tables have been arranged on either side, with the top sprinkled with small lights like stars. Everything combines so beautifully and looks even more romantic.

Erick was seen standing on the stage holding baby Erlena towards the front. He looked restless, not taking his eyes off the exit of his mansion. Since last night, he had been forced not to see Angel, and was even forced to sleep alone, in the hope that his longing would become overwhelming. And sure enough, this morning he couldn't bear to look at the woman he loved.

"Dad, calm down... Mom will be out soon," said baby Erlena through her mind.

"But your mother took a long time, darling," said Erick in a normal voice, making the priest beside him ask in confusion.

"Who are you talking to, sir?"

"Ah no, I just can't wait," replied Erick with a stiff smile.

Soon, romantic music could be heard playing, a sign that the bride would soon appear. Erick's body looked tense, his eyes couldn't even blink from the angel who appeared in front of him.

Erick's eyes sparkled brightly, looking at the beauty of Angel's body, which was now clad in a slightly dreamy white dress decorated with flowers. The woman's beautiful chest poked out slightly, with a curvy waist that did not show any excess fat there. Everything was even more beautiful when Angel's legs loomed between the silk fabric, looking so tempting at the moment.

"Perfect... Angel is perfect," Erick muttered with an enchanted look.

"Maamma... mammma...." Baby Erlena squealed happily while clapping her hands. She felt so happy when she looked at her mother.

No different from Erick, Angel also felt extraordinary tension. She was so nervous, even her heart hadn't stopped beating since earlier. Especially now that she was in front of the man, it felt like every joint in her body went limp.

"Never hurt him," said Jack as he placed Angel's hand on Erick's, his gaze firm. "Or I'll really take it from you."

"She's mine, only mine," replied Erick, who was so ensnared by the charm of the woman in front of him.

Jack smiled, his gaze shifted towards baby Erlena. "Now you have to be with me, beautiful."

Jack took baby Erlena's body from Erick's arms, then took his place in the front row of the invited guests.

Erick continued to stare at Angel as if he didn't care about everyone there. "You are very beautiful, Angel... I am so lucky to have you in my life."

"I'm very lucky to have you too, Erick..."

"Ahem..." The priest cleared his throat softly to awaken the bride and groom from their respective fascination. "Can we start the vows?"

"Ah yes," Erick smiled stiffly, "we'll start now."

Finally, the two of them began to make sacred vows before God, binding each other's hearts with such sincere love. They promised to live this life together in joy and sorrow, remaining faithful until death do them part.

"You are my life, Angel..." Erick looked at Angel closely with one hand stroking the side of the woman's face. "I will never deny my love for you."

Without waiting for a signal from the priest, Erick immediately grabbed Angel's lips, crushed them intensely and passionately. He seemed to want to vent his longing right now, and even wanted to immediately lift Angel's body into the room if he didn't remember all the guests who came.

"You see, Erlena. Your father is really crazy about your mother," muttered Jack with an annoyed face, also filled with jealousy because until now he had not been able to find his Luna.

"You'll be crazy about me too, Uncle."

"What?!" Jack shouted involuntarily when he heard the tiny voice in his head. He suddenly stared at baby Erlena's face with wide eyes. "You-talking to me?"

Baby Erlena seemed to be giggling happily with an adorable face.
