102. Epilogue!
Author's POV

Five Years Later!

Arabella was training students of R agency in the early morning, Sun was coming out in the sky slowly.
Students were beyond exhausted after working too hard.
She saw their faces and dismissed the class.

Her walk back to mansion was quiet as no one was on the road this early but she halted in her place when she saw little boy on the middle of the street, practicing swordplay.
He was around four years old but the sharpness is his eyes was more intense than any adult. His sword was cutting through the air like butter. His naked feet wasn't afraid of rough street under them.

He moved so fast, she could hardly see his clear image.
"Hey, Boy!"
Arabella called him and he froze.

His sword tip made sound after touching the road. He was drenched in sweat because of the practice but he started sweating more when he saw Arabella. He looked down and gulped as she approached him with frown.

His hold on his sword tightened as she stepped closer and closer. Arabella quickly jumped when he attacked her with his sharp sword.
She was amazed by his courage. She let him play for a moment before kicking the sword from his little hands and making him taste the dust.

He groaned on the road before sitting up, he folded his legs and frowned at Arabella.

She knelt in front of him and grabbed his jaw.
"So brave of you to attack me. What were you thinking?"
He asked sternly.
"Did you forget your size?"
He just frowned at her.
"From where did you get this sword?"
She asked but he didn't say anything.
"I asked you something!"

"I stole it"
He answered.

She released his jaw and sighed.
"Why did you attack me?"

"Because you scare me sometimes."
He complained.

"You are getting punished for this."
She warned.

Oliver came out of the main gate while calling the name.
"Xandros!"

The boy gasped and climbed on Arabella's lap and she narrowed her eyes at him.
He grinned at her cutely.
"You save me this time and I won't touch chocolates for one month."

Arabella smirked.
"Three months!"

He huffed cutely but nodded.
"Fine! Three months."

Oliver frowned when he saw sword and the boy in Arabella's arms.
"Xandros, did you take the sword from my cupboard?"
He scolded him.

He shook his head furiously.
"No, I didn't!"

Oliver picked up the mini sword from the road and looked at him.
"What is this then?"

Xandros pointed at Arabella.
"It's hers, not mine!"

"Yes, it's mine!"
Arabella agreed.

Oliver frowned at them, he knew what was the reality.
"Really?"

"Really!"
Arabella suppressed her smile.

Xandros folded his hands over his chest while he was in Arabella's arms.
"You shouldn't accuse anyone for the theft... Especially a dignified man like me."

Arabella bursted out laughing when he said those manly words in his cute voice.
"Don't talk to my husband like this... I'll tell him everything."

Xandros whined.
"Mom, you can't change sides, okay! We had a deal."

Oliver closed his eyes, took a deep and scratched his forehead.
"Xandros, I swear to devil___"

"I know, Dad... I know..."
He started before Oliver could start.
"I am not allowed to touch actual weapons until I turn seven. But I was curious, I asked you so many times to let me use that in your supervision but you didn't agree so I stole it."
He huffed.

"One wrong move and you will loose your limbs for life, Xandros..."
He scolded.
"This is not a joke... This is not a candy you are stealing from kitchen."

"Papa gave it to me, I didn't steal it."
He argued.

"Ahh! Don't lie... I am here, listening to everything."
Arthur warned while walking towards them.
"So convenient for you that you have two fathers... When one is not their then put all the blame on him."

Xandros covered his face with his tiny hands.
"You guys always gang up against me."

"You are ground for a week... No, games and television for a month."
Arthur scolded.

"Papa, I have already given up my chocolates for three months."
He complained.

"Shut up, little brat!"
Oliver took him from Arabella.
"I'll see how you steal from me again."

"You don't threaten me, okay... I am the most powerful here!"
He challenged.

Oliver raised his eyebrows amused.
"Show me how!"

Xandros wiggled out of his hold and stood on the ground.
"Rose!"
He knew that Rose goes on a ride at this time.

She came out on her bike and stopped by them.
"What's happening here?"
She frowned at them.

"Your boys are bullying me."
He complained.
"I was just practicing here."

Rose gave cold look to her sons and they just sighed.
"He is getting naughty day by day, Mom."
Arthur informed.

"I'll break your bones if you bully him again."
She placed him in front of her on bike and Xandros hugged Rose.

"I love you, Rose... You are my true protector."
He kissed her cheek and she chuckled.

His parents stood there amused as he ran away with Rose.

"He and his Rose!"
Arabella shook her head.

"He is getting courageous day by day..."
Oliver looked at the mini sword.
"He will get hurt."

"He was really good with the sword. You should have seen him."
Arabella smiled proudly.

"Of course he is good. He is our son"
Arthur chuckled.

"Ours!"
She turned towards him and smiled cutely.

"Beautiful and brave like you"
Oliver kissed her head as always.

"Time is flying, it feels like yesterday I met you and today we are standing here."
They sat in the garden on one bench.

"It means you are so happy that you don't realise when time passes..."
Arthur teased her.

She chuckled and nodded before placing head on his shoulder and holding Oliver's hand.
"So happy that I have forgotten how sadness feels... Thanks to you. Promise me that you will stay like this and will love me like this forever!"

They both smiled and said in unison.
"We promise you forever!"

She smiled and closed her eyes, getting lost in their embrace like always.

The End!
