Life can sure be a bed of roses

Keegan's POV

Shannon had somehow gotten herself a boyfriend and now she wouldn't leave me alone as she just wanted to have me know all the deets of how each process went.

"Okay Shan, I hear you" I responded I was already exhausted she had explained her fears and whatnot and right now my ears couldn't get enough.

She had met him on a dating site and he picked her interest because week Shannon wanted huge muscular men.

"What do you plan on putting on?" I asked her.

"Well that I don't know but. would you come to help me out bestie please" she beckoned and even was almost wanting to cry.

"Okay, I've heard I would be there," I said and took one of the cars Cruise had told me to use.

I got numerous looks from those who were still not ready to accept me as their Luna or whatever they called it but then again I was living my best life with Cruise and even if I want going to be anything with him, I still was going to live my best life because life could sure be a bed of roses if it wanted to be.

After hours of going back and forth with clothes and shoes and whatnot so she could impress her date and me finding a proper way to tell her what had been happening these last weeks, a lot had happened and she had not seen me and I knew she just was giving me the leverage to open up myself and explain myself to her but she had to come back from her date first before that happened because we needed like an entire day to talk about it.

She left for her date at La Cave in a red bodycon gown, a gold clutch, red bottom heels, and her signature lip gloss with minimal makeup on.

When she arrived she was ushered to a private area where her date was waiting, he pulled out the chair for her and she sat.

Her date looked yummy.

He was handsome, tall a good body physique, and had brown charming eyes.

They talked about so many things that out of fun he decided to do.

She began to mutter arrogant as she remembered one of her old fates which didn't go well so she was trying her best to not be rude but he was just going on and 9n and she didn't like it and he burst into laughter their date was ended and she was excited they had this time together.

She was so happy to be able to bond with her date in ways that were unimaginable to her.

While I was home and hearing my friend go on and on about what it was that had happened on her date I could hear Cruise mutter something in the bathroom but I didn't know what it was and I knew we didn't have some extra person in the room except it was some ritual he had to perform since I was trying to understand what was happening.

I decided to walk close to the door and I started hearing his discussion with someone whom he called mum.

"But his or she is dead " I exclaimed to myself before closing my mouth with my hands to hear what was being said.

Mom, she’s here right now,” Cruise said proudly, rubbing a female back gently and smiling at her.

His eyes bore into hers making and this made my whole body feel a little hotter. because he was mine and I was becoming defensive of him.

"OK, weird! “Mom, what are you doing?” Cruise asked, laughing; I noticed that the woman was staring at Cruise's hand on her back from the mirror with a wide grin on her face.

" Yes mum I love her so much and I can't wait to spend the next of my immortal life with her," he said as if replying to a question she had asked.

"What?" he exclaimed and turned and looked at me who almost ran out of my skin.

"Darling stand there" he stopped me in my running tracks.

“Of course she is" he replied again and I could see my skin would burn from all of these.

He pulled me towards the mirror showing me a blank space and then went on to introduce me.

“Mom, this is my woman, mate and baby mama of your grandpop. Her name is Keegan Suzy.” Cruise beamed proudly at me as I pressed myself closer to him. I was scared and he sounded crazy right now.

His mum's face snapped to look at me, shocked I almost ran she was beaming with some extraordinary light.

Slowly, her face turned to happiness, then complete bliss, as she laughed and ran to me, grabbing both of me and Cruise into a big hug. “Oh my gosh! Finally, you two got together? Finally!” she almost screamed, jumping up and down on the spot.

Well, this was getting wider than it should be but what could I do? I was somewhere I knew nothing about.

Cruise knew I was almost collapsing because my legs were giving way from being touched by such a figure she was beautiful but I was shocked and scared he wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me impossibly closer to him. “Yeah, finally,” he confirmed, rolling his eyes, but looking amused at the same time.

Lucas somehow had entered our room to come to give a concern about something and he brought out his hand and put his hand out to Cruise from the way he behaved, I guessed this was normal. phenomenon and he had witnessed this many times.

I still was dumbfounded.

After that a male. the figure came out and di assumed it was Cruise's father they shook hands in a very grown-up gesture before he pulled him into a bear hug.

After all of the excitement halted down, we had it was nice to have seen Cruise's parents like this, they honestly didn’t stop smiling. Every time Cruise and I touched each other, his mother would sigh happily, beaming at us.

I couldn't hold it in so its legs gave way and I only awoke to a normal setting and no beaming mother or father but to my room our room.

"Cruise? What happened?" I asked.

"Just read Keegs, please" he begged but I was not having it.

"Take me toy father, he surely needs me," I said but seems Cruise was ten steps ahead of me.

"He is in one of the pack chambers resting, he was discharged this evening Lucas told me a while ago before you passed out" he explained.

"What?", I asked.

" Yes love please rest" he pleaded and left me there not explaining more of what had just happened.

"Okay?" I could only whisper but I could not sleep.

How could I, I had to see lots of things to last me a lifetime in just a few hours of being here.

"Ouch, why would you do that" I pouted at the baby in me who had decided to kick at this moment of pondering.

"Ouch, okay I am sorry I yelled forgive me" I apologised to the pup who seemingly was being mad at me for nothing or maybe I did something and didn't know I did it.

"You should eat this" Cruise came in with a tray of food.

"How did you know I needed it right now?" I asked as my eyes bulged at the food in front of me, I just wanted to devour everything on the tray of food.

"Take your time and don't choke, please," he said and I could only smile.

"Are we going to pretend I didn't just see your parents in the bathroom?" I asked and he looked at me intently his eyes changing a bit.

"So you saw and remembered huh, I thought you couldn't remember he tried to play it off but I was letting it slide.

" Is that how you communicate with them?" I asked.

"Yes sometimes my mom and I have our discussions I and my dad were never on the same page so I hardly would talk with him because he wanted me to focus on the pack but I couldn't I just had to focus on my businesses and when he died and I was forced to bring in an Heir that's when I got to Chloe and she refused and then you came along" he explained.

"So am I a mistake?" I realised this because his ending statement squeaked with uncertainty.

"Nope you and my pup have and will never be a mistake please don't think of that in our life okay?" he said and j nodded my head.

I was enjoying myself and I would forever be happy I accepted being a surrogate to him for his baby.

"Okay now eat up so you both are healthy for me yeah?"

"Of course Cruise Tyson my Alpha," I said and took a gulp.
