"What just happened here?" Lucas asked as I was dumfounded as well.

"I would have used her as a slave but never would I have made her kill herself" I said as I looked at the dead bodies around us.

"What are we going to do?" Lucas asked as he looked at me intently.

"We would have to dispose of the bodies at least we have finally gotten rid of all the rogues except you know of one who is still lurking about?" I asked.

"None that I know of" Lucas affirmed of.

"Okay, there is no problem, let these bodies be taken care of" I said and started walking out when I saw one of the guards who was supposed to be checking up on Keegan ran towards me breathing breathlessly.

"What seems to be the problem now?" I asked exasperated.

"Ms Keegan is gone" he said not looking at me in the eyes.

"What do you mean Keegan is gone, did it leaveher in your care?" I asked trying to control my anger but the more I tried the more I was wrong I couldn't do that I couldn't handle the panic, the raise of adrenaline, lots of thoughts and none was reasonable enough for me to guess why she might have left I stavgered for a bit only realising Lucas held my arm, I felt weak, I felt lost for a moment.

If I became weak at this moment what then was I going to do if skmetjingbbad had happened to Keegan?

"Send a search team she has to be found as soon as possible" I said and rushed to my bedroom to check on somethings.

When I got into the room, I could tell what had happened, Keegan had taken the money I had kept for her fathers treatment and she had vanished with it, she had gone, probably to go save her dads condition.

"Why would she take something which was evidently hers?" I turned and asked Lucas.

"Well maybe because you were delaying in giving her and she wanted her father to be alive but you were not thinking of that fact were you?" Lucas asked me and just the way he asked me made me realised I had been selfish, I had thought only of myself but not her or her father for once hence she had done what any reasonable human would do.

"Ayayae! I was wrong" I admitted.

"Sheesh, you sure admitted at the wrong time don't you think?" Lucas asked and I gave him a side eye.

"Enough of the chitchat, let's go find her immediately I am sure she must have gone to her fathers hospital to see him" I suggested and Lucas rallied all the men to do as I had ordered.

It shouldn't be hard to find her, because she was not far away from where I would have imagined her to be.

"They've all been sent out so you can either sit here and wait for her to be brought to you or you would join in the search for our beloved Keegan?" Lucas teased.

Honestly keeping him around sometimes gets on my nerves as he just wouldn't stop taunting the shit out of me he was a thorn in my flesh that I just say so I just had to stay quite in times like this.

"Ill drive, I didn't want to be sent to an early grave with you in it" he said and I somehow smacked the smirk off his face with my left arm.

"Gosh, Cruise why would you do that?" he asked somehow getting mad at me.

"Shut up and drive" I said and turned to the window. h

He could be mad all he wanted but still he was supposed to be answerable to me even if he didn't want to be.

The drive was a quiet yet tormenting one as I told him to step on it.

"I can't possibly step on the wheel more than I already am come on Cruise calm down.

He cajoled me and I heeded, of course I had to heed to his advice he was my Beta and Alpha's listened to their Betas from time to time even if we were stubborn as hell.

" Finally we at the hospital" Kucas announced and I didn't wait for him to completely stop the car, besides I wouldn't have injured myself that bad I would have healed.

"Where can I find the d man who n3eds surgery?" I asked a nurse making her confused as she looked at me as though I had grown wings or something.

"We have many people who are due for operation sir and also we have old men too who are to he operated so whom are you talking about? Can u get a name so I can be able to help you with the information you need?" she asked finally smiling a sweet smile, but not as sweet as that of Keegan.."Have you seen a pregnant woman around here, five foot tall and also she shocker be putting on a flowery gown?", I asked hoping she got the hint of who I was looking for.

"Oh yes, you mean the pretty woman, what's her name" she took sometime to think before she finally blurted out.

"Ms Keegana Suzy?" she asked and I nodded.

"Oh she left not too long ago with her father to another hospital, she asked that he be transferred reasons best known to her" she explained and went off to her duty post.

"Shit " I screamed and the onlookers look3d at me as though I had gone bonkers.

For someone who is pregnant and has mood swings, Keegan sure has the brains because I wasn't sure if I had to be in her shoes I would have thought of changing hospital, I would have simply just done the needful right here and now and made sure my father was fine before thinking of that.

"She sure is a feisty one eh?" Lucas asked as we tried to continue our trail.

"She doesn't even have a scent for me to follow" I cursed her for not being a wolf.

"But your heart can sense her if you allow it to do the needful" Lucas said.

"Ever since I knew you, this had got to be the most reasonable thing you have said as my Beta" I commented and he frowned.

"Ill want to have you take that back" he said.

"And if I don't?" I asked.

"Then you won't find her" he said and my wolf growled.

sure enough Lucas heard so he retracted his statements.

"Okay fine, you would find her and all of these would be over and you would make a big happy family" Lucas explained.

"I pray so man, I hopefully pray and after this we would have a long honeymoon" I said excited.

"I can't believe you have been love struck by someone other than Chloe, bless her soul" he commented.

"Well it happens and I seem to not know how to control myself Lucas, I am in love" I g8nally affirmed.

" Now I think my heart tells me St luis hospital " I said.

"There we go Alpha" he said and stepped on the car speed and within Thirty minutes we were at St Luis Hospital and even if she knew we were coming she couldn't run because yes I had seen her at the corridors pacing up and down and she had been rooted to the spot not being able to utter a word or anything and instead she ran towards me and hugged me.

"He would be fine, just hope and pray" I found myself consoling her.

"Tell the others to retreat we've found her" I ordered and Lucas did as he had been told to do.

"I am sorry Cruise..." she began to explain but I had my cockroaches too and I wanted her to be fine before I began to explain why and what the things where which I had done that might not sit properly with her.

"It's all okay, I was selfish I should have given you the money earlier for you dads treatment and trust me you did the right thing love never apologise for what is mine is more definitely your's too" I said and she held me closer than expected she was a tiny woman and I l9ved my tiny woman and Mate.

"Permission to leave Alpha?" Lucas asked.

"Permission to leave Lucas" I granted and he left to the car as Jeegan and I sat there waiting for the doctor to show up.
