After I had sent Lucas and the rest to go in search of Ryan all they could get was the trail of his blood.

But he was stupid enough to think I couldn't find him but I called him and he wasn't expecting because he knew his number was not going to be able to be traced.

And what gives you the assurance that I will come?" he asked

"It's a good thing that I had installed a CCTV system in the house, we can know where you, are," I told him.

With one of my experts checking out the system, we manage to spot a figure jumping over the fence and getting to Keegan that fateful night she was kidnapped.

The figure looked so familiar, I thought as I kept staring at the person who crept into the house.

The house was still dark when the figure walked up the stairs, the guards who were supposed to be there weren't there and that alone pissed me off.

But I finally got what I wanted because as we kept having this conversation we were tracking down his location.

The stranger carried Keegan into his arms as he was descending the stairs. Good he had on pulled off and when I saw his face, I paused

" it was one of my council elders" shit this was getting even crazier.

"I'm watching the CCTV footage and from all information, you are still working with someone else," I said.

"That's your assumption so keep assuming Cruise, and don't forget I'll get back at you for hurting my leg and ruining my plans," Ryan said.

And then he dropped the call.

"You won't believe what that bastard said just now that I called him Lucas," I said as I stared at him.

"Ryan is alive, he didn't die from his bloodied wound?" He asked.

"Yes he is and he wants to claim hard by not succumbing," I said looking back at Keegan who was watching me.

"I think I can help with this," Keegan said and I didn't say anything.

"I think I can help with some poison to stop rogues" she insisted even more and this shocked me because I didn't expect she was going to know about werewolves talking less of rogues.

"How did you know?" I asked puzzled

"He just called me, Cruise, He made it known to me that he would hurt our child, "she said as the tears began to pour again

"Don't worry we will try to find a way to get out of this mess?" I said giving her a tight hug and turning back to Lucas.

"We just got a call from the perpetrator, he is someone we all thought dead and also he is a fugitive," I said then I turned to my pack fighters who worked with the police and they asked,

"Can you give us his identity ?" the police officer asked and quickly I got to do that

"He wouldn't just call your child's mother for nothing, did he tell you what you have to give in exchange if she came?" the police officer asked Keegan, who was feeling sad.

"Yes he did " Keegan replied softly.

"What did he ask for in exchange?"I asked interrupting the police officer

"He wants me! He wants me in exchange " she replied softly and my wolf growled.

"That bastard!"I yelled out as I hugged Keegan.

"That won't have to happen! If we get to plan this accordingly, we will get to arrest them all" Lucas said

"How do you plan on doing that?" Keegan asked

"It depends on you?" I said staring at her I just would do anything for her.

"Can you explain better?" she asked staring at me.

"What do you intend to do Cruise?" Lucas asked me.

"I don't know what to do, have been trying to calm her down but she keeps on feeling bad she is the reason for all these fights and kidnappings and it ain't good for her and the baby" I explained.

"Then take her somewhere quiet then she doesn't need this kind of stress Cruise, damn do I have to teach you everything about romance?" Lucas whined and this caused Keegan to laugh laughter I had not seen on her since she had been kidnapped although I know she was still waiting for me to explain a lot of things to her about who I was and why I had wanted her to be my Surrogate and have my baby thanks to the crazy Chloe.

"Would you like to go on a vacation just for a week or two?", I asked her hoping she would accept don't could carry out my plans before she returned and everything would be fine.

" No, I don't want to go anywhere, I just want to be here and give birth safely and also to make sure my father is fine" she explained.

Damn it! I cursed inwardly but then again what could I do? What Keegan wants was what Keegan got.

'Okay so what else would you say I should do to make you happy now?" I asked.

"Tell me the truth about who you are and what you want to do with the lady we brought in here, I mean Chloe?" she asked arching her brow.

"Bro you are on your own" Lucas's mind linked with him and then left.

"I'll now go and check on the said lady, to see if she is comfortable," Lucas said out loud and left.

Truly I was alone with Keegan in the room as all the pack officers left too to go continue with their search for where Ryan was.

"Hun, I would tell you everything but just hold ok until I succeed in making sure that everything is fine please" I begged and she slowly nodded as if she was accepting what I had said to her.

"I'll go to sleep now Cruise, my feet hurt" she complained.

"Should I massage them for you?" I asked since her mood swings were too many I just had to be cautious when asking some questions so I don't piss her off.

"No it's okay, you have better things to think of right now," she said and walked off to the room
