"How is she?" I asked as the doctors went in and out of the room checking her vitals and all.

"She would be stable sir we just have to make sure she is checked properly" Dr Wancho explained to me.

"I pray she gets well!" I said.

"Cruise is that you?" she asked again

"Who else? It is me of course" I replied

"But you are dead?" she said softly

"If I am dead, would I be talking to you?" I asked

"This is crazy" she muttered softly and Lucas walked towards me, staring at me with concern.

"What's going on?" he asked

"Why am I strapped to a bed Cruise and is my baby fine?" she asked touching her stomach.

Then she remembered she was angry at me.

"What are you doing here, and what do you want?" she asked me.

"What do I want? I want you!" I said

"You must be crazy?'" she yelled pouting.

"Crazy for you right? you will surely be mine 'cause I have something of yours, " I said to her.

"You would not touch my baby!" she yelled at me.

"The baby is ours Keegan, so I am not taking the baby away from you come on," I said to her.

"You have a lot of things to hear from me," I said.

"I am not going to see you after this if I come here," Keegan said.

"That will only happen if you come yourself, I want you to come by yourself," I said to her.

"Cruise you seem to be talking as though you are high on some cheap drugs stop that madness" Keegan scolded me.

"Are you willing to forgive me, darling?" I asked just trying to push my luck to see if she still was going to ask me about the things Chloe had said to me while in captive.

"I still am mad at you, why would you want to use me as your baby-making machine and then run off with my baby? Was that the plan?" She asked looking so dejected and almost on the verge of crying.

"Oh Keegan, if I explained you wouldn't understand" I began to say but she had more than enough to tell me at this point.

"Oh Cruise, I have all the time in the world for that so please can you be fast with whatever it is you would be telling me?" she said in an authoritative tone, typical Luna voice and demeanour.

"The car was found empty and just a trail of blood and our men have been trying their best to make sure that Ryan is caught but he hide his rogue agent so well" Lucas explained to me.

"Oh, that seems to be some bad news" I commented.

"Well, the truth is, I would rather we killed this woman Chloe than keep her alive besides she isn't an asset to us but some heavy-duty liability," Lucas said out loud causing Keegan to heave a sigh which reminded me we were discussing all of these in front of her.

"You piece of shit" I cursed Lucas.

"Do I have to be scared of you both?" Keegan asked and somewhere deep within I felt a pang of pain that she would want to be scared of us also my wolf growled lowly barely audible.

"No darling, you don't have to be scared of me at all or Lucas, we just are trying our best to get to Ryan and his men to find out what it is that he wanted from us and that is why we have kept Chloe with us" I tried to explain but I could tell from the look in her eyes she didn't believe a single word I said just now which meant I had to make sure she believed me it was not time yet to let her know anything about our life back at the pack, but what would I do?

"One of the rogues has been found," Lucas said to me and I gave him a look which sent chills down his spine.

It felt and seemed he was out to get on my nerves while in front of Keegan and he knew I couldn't say or do otherwise while with her around.

"Go call the doctor Lucas," I said and he took that as his cue to leave.

"I seem to know nothing about you Cruise but yet it seems as though you know an entirety of me, and I can't help but ask myself what I have gotten myself into. If I have gotten a man who cherishes me or a man who would take care of my baby, I was beginning to fall in love with you but you know, we can't build a relationship on lies" she said and turned her head towards the window of the bed she was saying on.

"But, I love you too Keegan, why can't you get that?" I asked but she didn't respond.

Damn, Chloe had messed this whole truth thing for me if I must say, she had made me doubt myself with Keegan and that was something I had never thought I would do and for Lucas, my mind linked him,

"Dude make sure Ryan is found, that bastard has some explaining and pain to go through at my hands," I said as I paced oo and down and the doctors took a look one more time at Keegan who was having some contractions.

They wouldn't say if they were Braxton Hicks or if they were real contractions and labour.

I was a simple nervous wreck.

"Mr Tyson, you should go home and freshen up when. coming back bring some fresh clothes for your wife too" the doctor explained somehow I felt great she called Keegan my wife and didn't correct her.

Yes she was my wife and Mate and also my Luna and I could t wait for her to bare our pup safely I was the happiest man on the earth at this moment and I was sure my happiness showed on my face.
