Foggy dreams

Keegan's POV

"Where am I?"I muttered as I kept walking through a white thick fog.

I could hardly see a thing, and neither could I see anyone.

What sort of place is this and why on earth am I here? , I thought as I kept walking trying to find a place something or someone.

The more I walk, the more the fog thickens. the last thing I remember was being shot by Chloe and then I can't remember anything afterwards.

Am I dead? The thought came to me and quickly I Shook it off.

I can't possibly be dead, I still have a lot to do and things to achieve, my baby still needs me and most importantly Cruise still needs me and I need him too, I don't want to die yet, I just can't possibly die.

"And I still need you, " a little voice said behind me.

I turned to see a little girl staring at me, she looks about ten in age and she has a lovely smile, a smile which I knew so well.

It's the same smile Cruise sent my way each time we were joking or just happy at being with each other.

"I need you, so please don't go!" the little girl said again.

"Why do you say you need me? I don't even know you?"I asked as I crouched in front of her staring at her.

"You do know me, you just can't remember!" she said putting her hand on my stomach, I gasped out when I felt something moving in me my baby!

"What did you do ?"I asked as I stared at her

"You said you don't remember me and so I have made you remember, come for me mommy, I will be waiting for you, "The little girl said and then she disappeared through the fog.

She called me mommy, she called me mommy, that thought kept ringing through my head that I didn't realise that the child had left.

"Come back! Come back please, you can't go, not again"I muttered as I knelt on the floor crying.

*******End of nightmares******

Meanwhile, Cruise was not me trying to wake me up from the nightmare I was having we had been alone and I had suddenly become super scared of my environment and instead of the anger that lingered I had to go to sleep as he had insisted I did.

" Wake up Keegan, wake up honey" I heard him say in my dream and I jolted as he held my hand with sweaty palms.

"What's happening?" I asked as I got up.

It's been three hours now and you have been screaming in your sleep.

"Just what is going on in here?" I heard Chloe say to us as she entered the room.

"Nothing that concerns you" Cruise answered.

"Take this Cruise! You have been here for the past three days and you haven't had anything" Chloe said as she gave Cruise some water.

"I don't want? All I want is for my Keegan to fine and out of here" Cruise said.

"But you guys are better right," Chloe said.

"Better! you dare say better" Lucas who had been quiet for a while now said behind me.

"This is all your fault! If only you had listened to me, we wouldn't be in a situation of life and death, you are nothing but trouble for her, you have been nothing but trouble !" Lucas yelled at Cruise.

"What's wrong with you? Don't you know that apart from him being my baby daddy, he is also your boss?" I asked angry at how Lucas was sounding but it felt like he had a point.

"To heck with him being my boss, have had enough of keeping my mouth shut just because he is my boss, can't you see that he is putting our lives in danger ?" Lucas yelled staring at me.

"I never got to understand why you always behaved this way when it comes to Keegan but now have finally understood," Cruise said staring at him.

"What do you know? You know nothing at all" He said and began to walk off.

"Why didn't you ever tell her? She has to know the truth about everything.

"You should stop blaming me for mistakes, already done you had the chance but you never used it," Crusie said making me even more confused than I was initially.

"But why are you all screaming and nobody is saying what it is that would happen eventually, I am the one with a child and I could give birth anytime from stress can you all shut up" I screamed.

"I am sorry honey, sorry," Cruise said as he knelt beside me and then touched my tummy and the baby kicked as if it understood who was beside it.

"Keegan you are my life and if worst comes to worst, I will be willing to lay down my life for you!" he said and I nodded in acknowledgement I had no choice but to stay quiet.

"I do hope that you stick to your promise, I do hope so," Lucas said and walked off to the other end of the room.

I didn't understand why they were fighting but then seemed to have concealed problems.

"There is nothing wrong with Lucas he is just mad that he has been locked in here for long and the truth is he had given me ideas as to how I would be able to handle the issues surrounding us but I didn't listen and we are her under the guise of one of our business competitor, I am sorry" Cruise apologised to me and although all that he said was foggy, I still nodded my head and laid its head on him and drifted off to sleep because well I was pregnant and I needed to rest my weak bones even though I had to sleep on the cold hard floor with no clothing or beddings.

"Bring him here" I heard the male voice and the next thing I knew Cruise was taken from my side.

I was confused.
