CHAPTER NINE
Cyd's POV
As Alycione was blocking her right arm in front of her eyes at the back, some blue dust burst out of the eye on the top of the black iron post and moved clockwise as it comes out; a blue figure like a hologram of a person was formed, now standing with its eyes closed at the other side of the gate in front of me.
After the blue dust completes the blue body, its eyes opened and greeted "Welcome back Master!" with a small curve in the lips and I nodded as an appreciation; its head moved southwest as its grin vanished from its lips "Who is she Master?" my blue bodied guard asked as he glared at her, then faced me.
"She's a friend. Register her anatomy and use her eye as her security passcode." I commanded "Yes my Master" the guard bowed its head as it closes its eyes and begin the process.
While the wind blows heavily, making her eyes not to open in a long time; a blue dust hand covered her eyes and turned into floating blue dust after it landed on her eyes.
3rd Person's POV
After Alycione is being covered by a blue hand figured dust, some happenings flashed in her mind.
"No! No! You can't take her away from me!" a woman protested while holding a child wrapped in golden yellow cloth in her arms tightly, she dashed away from something and rode the black boat and told the oarsman to go to the door.
After this one appeared, another scene appeared.
"Aaaahhhh! How could you do this to me?!" a person with a blurry face shouted in anger with pain, the place rumbles as he slitted the floor with both arms and a clenched fists hardly.
Another scene occured...
A woman carrying her child handed over the child to someone and left a pendant on the neck of the sleeping child; she kissed her child's forehead and says "Please take care of my child, now go, this door will take you wherever you want to go." she spoke as the door popped up in front of them with a glowing yellow dusts around the flowers surrounding the doorframe. After two people entered the door, a light beams from it and the door suddenly closed shut, it turns into dust and meddle with the wind; a loud bang was heard that echoed around the house as the wooden door fall to the floor.
A moment after, all the scenes turned into black and the hand covering disappeared; she breathe for air like she was from a deep ocean that can finally breathe some air while she broadened her eyes, being thunderstruck of what she had seen.
Later on, it was difficult for her to breathe as the shield of her eyes became heavier in every second count. "C-C-C-Cyd?" Alycione called that caused him to rotate his head clockwise to face her as he answers "hmm?" his eyes lengthened and rapidly went towards her as her knees loose its strength that cause her to fall down; he placed his arms around to catch her from falling.
"Master, there's something blocking her retina." the blue human-figured dust spoke "Have you identified what it is?" he asked "Not yet Master. It's hard to examine."
"What's with you Aly? Have you been playing with me?" he whispered as he gazed at her deep in slumber.

Alycione's POV
I slowly opened my eyes and saw everything in red and black outlines, I sat down carefully then I felt dizzy with unknown reason why as I placed my hand on my head; I toured my sight around then I saw a skeleton walking towards me that made me gasp in shock as I crawl backwards without breaking an eye contact with the skeleton.
While I'm crawling backwards, I felt something at the back that I bumped into, I lifted my head slowly then a minotaur gazed at me with its brown eyes that caused my heart to pound as cold liquid crawls down from my body.
A glacial thing hold my wrists tightly that made me gasp in shock as I gazed at it that turns out to be a skeleton hand and every struggle I do, the more tighter it holds; my heart beats fast as it already did as I heard soil moved by some force that caught my enthrallment and saw some skeletons arising from their grave then approaches me that made me shiver, I can't control my nervousness anymore.
Skeletons surrounds me as I struggle from their tight grip on me "How could be a corpse be strong to keep a living in its place?" I thought. A skeleton holding a piece of cloth with two separate small flames that I don't know what the color is because all I can see is red with an outline of black approaches me as the skeleton slowly covers the my eyes; I was about to say a word but no voice came out that is truly strange.
I kept on struggling as they tighten up the blindfold, I felt something cold went inside my eyes that made me realize that the fire is cold.

"Divine Grace, please help us, save us please, I'm begging you..." a woman pleaded with tears crawling down as she hold my hand. "W-what's happening?" I asked in confusion "Please..." she sobbed "before it's too late..." another tear escaped down before she turned into ashes blown by the wind.
Why is she asking me to save her? And who or what does she mean by the word 'US'?
Then out of the blue, I heard someone groaned in pain that made my head lift. I saw him struggling from the tight grip of someone standing in meters away from me.
The man kept on struggling to be free from him, I was about to lift my foot from the ground to run towards them and stop him from killing the man he's been holding tightly with his bare hands, but to my surprise, it feels like it's a heavy load that I couldn't lift with my own strength. I screamed loudly yet it turned out to be a whisper to the wind.
I don't know what's happening to me, strange things occured that I never experienced nor expected to happen.
A sound of a muscle crushed echoed around the place that made me lift my head and witnessed the guy being breathless or should I say, DEAD then he threw him like trash that is worthless.
My shoulders sagged down as I covered my mouth with both hands while hot liquids crawls down to my face and blame myself for not doing anything to help or save him from death.
Several drops of hot liquids from my eyes are found on the floor and the person meters away from me gazed up like he's looking for something then closed his eyes that made my eyes widened realizing that maybe he sensed me, but how?
He opened his eyes and it was red, he turned around facing me with a deadly sneer revealing one of his fangs. He looks so familiar to me but I couldn't remember who he was.
After several blinks...
"Hey there, Alycione" he spoke that made me gasp in shock then he bit my neck with his sharp fangs.

"Aly, Aly wake up! Wake up Aly!" a voice spoke while shaking me. W-wait, what? Waking me up? This doesn't seem right.
As I carefully opened my eyes, blue orbs greeted me with worries in his eyes. "Are you okay? Do you feel anything strange?" he sequentially asked that made me astonished by his sudden actions.
"I-I'm okay. Are you okay?" I sincerely asked then he gazed straight into the hazel orbs of mine letting me look into his frowned soul inside.
Some moments later, he stood up "are you aware, that your eyes were turning red sometimes?" he asked "What? T-turning red? My eyes were hazel, not red." I replied, he sighed "Okay okay, I'll let you off with this topic closed. It seems like you weren't aware of it, Alycione." he spoke as he left. I took a deep breath then let it out, calming myself. "What is this place?" I whispered, "It is the place of my master whenever someone's hunting him." a voice spoke as the blue-figured dust appeared right in front of my eyes "H-hunting him?" I curiously asked "Mmm-hmm. And---" "Ahem." the figured dust was about to tell me something but Cyd come up and stopped Him, "Since When are you allowed to talk about me behind my back Linux?" he asked with an eyebrow raised "I'm sorry Master" he apologized as he bend his head.
"That's okay for now, but once you did it again, you'll be punished okay?" he stated, then the one he called LINUX nodded obediently "That's half a day." he spoke that made Linux's eyes sparkle in joy "R-really?" he asked with a smile "Of course, you deserve it. Now go, before i change my mind about it." he stated, then Linux fades away happily while Cyd is forming a small curve up as he watch him fade away.
He turned around to face me then saw me grinning at him, "What?" he asked "I didn't know you can smile like that when no one forced you to..." "and what's with the 'ahem, that's half a day' thing?" I asked because who knows, I'm so curious about it and I can't understand what their talking about earlier "That's none of your business. Just think about what's happening to you and what's your bloodline that makes you a scholar of one of the highest ranked professor in this Academy." he seriously said that left me silent. What does he mean by that? I know everyone have a bloodline but what does he mean by special bloodline?
He sat beside me on the bed "You know Aly, you have potential on things round you, but that doesn't affect your bloodline, which is the main reason why you're here, here talking talking to me, being with me or any other people around you. They treated you that way, because the didn't know who you are..." he stated "even I, don't know why you're retina couldn't be identified by Linux" a mysterious voice spoke that made me gaze around the room looking for where that voice came from "What are you looking for?" he suddenly asked me that made me realize that it was his voice who said that but his mouth didn't said it. Could that be the thing that he wants to say but didn't say? "Uhhh Nothing." I replied.
The ground is shaking as well as the things inside the room, my sight began turning around as if there's a dizzy spell on it that made me catch my forehead while trying to be awake. Cyd rose his left hand as if it's gesturing something to come over; water from different paths enter the room where we're in and formed a sphere made of solid ice that served as our shield from danger.
3rd Person's POV
As Cyd and Alycione were inside the sphere, he hold her tight in his arms as he saw her fainted due to what happened, many questions were in her mind before she closed her eyes, "Why? why is this happening? What's with me that I need to know?". He lift his right hand slowly that made the sphere rise, making a big hole on the hidden roof to get out of the place.

"Son, where are you?" a hologram guy appeared on his wristwatch asked him, "Here in the woods. The ground has shaken recently, what's going on?" he asked his father, "it means time's running out. We better figure out who's Kora's daughter or we're all doomed." he stated. "Okay father. I'll find her." he stated, "Mmm, good luck!" he said then ended the call. He took a deep breath then let it out, "Where can I find you?" he thought; strong wind blew from the west to east that made him gaze above. His eyes broadened as he saw Cyd with a girl in his arms. "Esquivel? Why are you with him?" he wondered. Kept on thinking the reason why but it's still unknown. "making a move to love huh? Well, live it to the fullest 'cause there's no room for love in this place." he grinned devilishly.
