I just smiled and brought out the plastic container of my blood from the bag and poured a little in my hand , spreading it properly.

I heaved a sigh and placed it gently on the wall, praying hard to the moon goddess for it to work”

Just then the walls split open from where my hands were and an opening was made.

I turned back immediately to Devon and jumped on him ,my joy undeniable.

“ Let's go in” he said as he dropped me down with a smile.

Immediately we passed through the walls and it came back together, and as I turned back inside there was a house there but an army was also there.

I couldn't call them humans, I've never seen these things before, most of them had open skulls and various parts missing,while blood was coming out from their eyes.

“ You have to go inside, and look for the witch while I fight these things” Devon said drawing out his sword

“ I'm not leaving you here with them” I said calmly

“ The only way we can defeat them is if you defeat the witch” he said looking at me lovingly

I nodded and brought out my knife. Those things rushed towards us but Devon cleared a path for me , while I ran into the house.

When I entered the house , I brought out my knife and poured the blood on it, keeping the remaining one back in the bag.

I slowly moved from room to room ,before I finally saw her. She was sitting on a chair looking into the flames from the fire place

“ Welcome , little sister” she said 
I hadn't made a sound but she knew I found her.

She stood up from the chair and turned to me “ I've been waiting for you” she said with a smile

I held the knife close to myself as she accessed me

“ I was so angry at myself, when I realized I was fooled” she said with a smile “ but I realized you've always been the smart one from our childhood”

“ The one who could do anything she wanted , why I was to behave like a proper princess and have bolts of sickness everyday” she said switch a little laugh

“ I am not your sister” I said to her “ I don't know what happened in your childhood, I really don't care to know”

I looked her straight in the eyes , with my jaw set “ I'm only here ,because you messed with my people, and I want you gone for that

She smiled again  “little sister I heard Ander died after you killed yourself to end me, poor boy” she continued, ignoring the fact that I made it clear that I wasn't Riverine

“ You know I got everything, father could get me everything, but you had one thing I really wanted “ she looked up with a smile “ two rather, you had two things I really wanted.”

“ You had good health” she say down back on the chair  “ you didn't have to suffer each day from those painful illness, you didn't have to be treated like a chore , you were truly free”

“ and to crown it all , you had a man that truly loved you , even when you weren't as graceful ad I was”

I listened , but I moved closer to her inch by inch, and when I was close enough to stab her with the knife, I felt like there were hands around my neck choking me , it lifted me from the ground and held me dangling there, she stood up and turned to me , her hands stretched like she was holding on to something.

I felt the hands around my neck tighten, and my breaths were coming in short busts

“ But I won't make anymore mistake , sister “ she said softly “ I sensed black magic , the other day but I was too excited to care, so I made a silly mistake but not anymore

The room had begun to look blurry , it felt like I was slipping away and then she brought me closer to herself

“ You know , this time I finally win” she smiled “ I get to end you myself”

I immediately noticed her obsidian knife on her waist , without any thought , I took it, caught my wrist and stabbed her through the heart.

It all happened before a breath , her eyes widened in shock , and the hands around me were gone ,so I fell to the ground , she immediately started fading away like dust moving out of the window

I began coughing so hard, I was also bleeding profusely from my wrist, I might have gone deeper than necessary

It all started fading but I could hear Devon's voice calling out to me .

When he entered the room  , he immediately ran to me and knelt by my side

“ Sky , you're bleeding so bad” I could hear him say

“ Sky stay with me “

“ Sky don't close your eyes”

“ Sky , I haven't finished my story yet , I still haven't told you what changed the young pup”

I could hear his voice but it sounded far away

“ Let's go back” I managed to say before I slipped into the darkness
