The priestesses words made the room go silent with shock, they were left speechless by the possibility of that

“ I could take Skyler and Alpha Devon's blood and put them into a doll, casting the spell and listing out the instructions to them”.

“ wouldn't it be suspicious” Skyler asked intrigued by the idea “ I mean wouldn't Raven know”

“ From what I understand of Raven, she wants to kill you, so you may render you unconscious before slitting your neck.” The priestess said

“ So we lead Raven to the forest with fake Dehon and Skyler , and let her kill fake Skyler , what about the blood” Killian asked

“ She would use the blood I put into the dolls for the ritual ,and after she is separated from her vessel”

“ I shoot an arrow straight at her heart , and end it all” Skyler finished before the priestess could continue.

“Yes” the priestess nodded

“ Send a letter to Beta Brandon in our name, Alpha Killian.” Devon finally said , showing his agreement to the plan

“Sure, once we get back to the palace.”

The priestess brought to bowls a knife and a black mashed substance in a bowl. Devon folded his sleeves up and gave his arm . The priestess caught him just below his shoulders and his blood dropped into the bowl. She applied the black substance to the cut and the bleeding stopped immediately. She dropped the bowl with Devon's blood and moved to Skyler

Skyler was putting on a short sleeved gown, so she just stretched out her arm to the priestess, and when the priestess cut her arm she flinched, biting her lips to control the pain . Devon held her shoulder , rubbing her as comfort.

The priestess took more blood than she did for Devon as the fake Devon just had to pretend to be dead, but Skyler's fake had to act for the witch.

When she was done collecting the blood, she went into the other room and came out after a while “ it would be ready by the morning,”

“ and also , everything has to happen tomorrow because the spell only lasts for twenty-four hours.

They all nodded showing they understood

“ You'll take the remaining blood with you tomorrow, to kill the witch” the priestess added

“ We'll be here first thing tomorrow morning, take the fakes and move to the forest.”

“ Wait , we lest a tiny detail” Beta Lois said “ the witch sees everything around her right , wouldn't she notice us hiding when she comes”

“ That's true.” Killian said

The group once again felt dejected,because this loophole had made all of their planning to be a waste.

“ I may be no witch, but I am a priestess from the line of great priestess. If I could do black magic , couldn't I do an invisibility spell?” The priestess asked with a smile.

Their faces brightened up immediately, while Skyler and Devon hugged themselves

“ Thank you so much, priestess” Killian said “ thank you for what you're doing for my sister

The rest of them nodded , showering the priestess with gratitude

“ I am just a vessel for the moon goddess” the priestess said “ I wouldn't do anything she doesn't approve of , so you must thank her not me.”

“Thank you moon goddess” they all muttered

They stood up , giving their farewells to the priestess who saw them out to their car.

She held Skyler's hands with her biny hers, the contrast clear by how pale the priestess skin was “ You're more than capable of doing this , you don't need to be scared.”

Skyler bent slightly, wrapping her hands around the priestess as she hugged her “ Thank you” she whispered

They all entered the car , and Beta Lois drove them back their pack.

When they got to the palace, dinner was already served , they all say down for dinner while Beta Lois went on his way to write and send out the letter.

“ I want to be the one to shoot the arrow at the witch” Skyler said halfway through dinner

Devon and Killian raised their heads from their plates and looked at her with varying expressions

“ Why” Devon asked returning to his plate

“ Because she had put me and all my loved one through so much already, I want to get revenge for that” she replied

“ I wait to he the one that takes away her new found freedom as she did mine , I had just cured my own cause when she started vying for my life”

“ Sure , you can” Killian told her “But you have to be very careful, you know she's dangerous”.

“ She wouldn't even know we are there, so there's nothing to be scared of”

Just then Beta Lois entered, bowing slightly “ I have sent the letter to your Beta and I'll be expecting an answer late into the night.”he said

“ Thank you Lois.” Killian said “ you can go have you dinner and rest afterward while you await the reply”

“ Thank you Alpha” he replied, he bowed again , before leaving them to their meal

“I trust my Beta to carry out this task with urgency and meticulously” Devon said

Skyler nodded “ Brandon is capable”

After dinner they went to their various rooms to rest , to be in full strength for whatever tomorrow has in store for them.

“ Do you think everything will go well tomorrow?” Skyler asked , wrapped in Devon's hands on the bed.

They have freshened up and we're lying down on the bed ready for the nights rest.

“ You heard what the priestess said,” Devon replied “ The moon goddess approves of whatever we want to do , so we must surely succeed.”

“ I'm just scared , I have this thought in mind of everything going wrong” she continued as she drew lines on Devon's chest

“ What could possibly go wrong” Devon countered” we are a step ahead of the witch , and she wouldn't even know we are there, just aim straight for her heart , and it would all be over.”

Devon finally calmed Skyler down and convinced her that all would go fine, they drifted to sleep in each other's arms.

In Bloodmoon pack ,the letter had already gotten to Beta Brandon who read it with a grim expression, and immediately wrote back a reply and sent it with the letter bearer. He sat down on one of the chairs in the hall, his face heavy. He had already started acting Incase he was being watched. He needed to create the impression that the letter he read had bad news and they would find out soon

The reply got to Beta Lois at almost midnight, and he took it to Killian who was still up in his office.

Brandon's letter informed them that he would inform the servants before the first ray of morning lights , and if the theory was right , the Witch would reach the forest just before noon.

Killian smiled, folding the letter and keeping it in his drawer, he stood up and dismissed Beta Lois to bed and went into his room too to rest.
